Hearing this, Cristofer couldn’t help but sigh. He knew why Estelle cried.
‘Estelle and I have been together for ten years. We used to be very intimate and loved each other so much. However, our marriage has to end with a divorce sooner.’
‘She must be sad for herself and regret wasting the best years of her life on me.’
After adjusting his emotion, he told Mrs. Moorsum, “Her mother is getting better and is in good condition these days.”
“I see,” Mrs. Moorsum said, still feeling worried. “Mr. Mysterious, do you know why Miss Hudson is crying?”
“Yes.”
“Then, could you tell me the reason for her crying? I’ll go comfort her.”
“Mrs. Moorsum,” Cristofer said in a gentle voice, “Estelle is mentally strong. She will be fine later. And... It’s useless to comfort her now. Just leave her alone for a while. Don’t worry.”
“All right,” Mrs. Moorsum said. “Mr. Mysterious, Miss Hudson felt down when she got up. Maybe it’s because you left early this morning.”
“I see. I’ll spend more time with her every morning.”
Mrs. Moorsum was finally relieved. “Okay. I’ll tell Miss Hudson later. She will definitely be delighted.”
After hanging up the phone, Mrs. Moorsum rolled up her sleeves and returned to the kitchen to prepare lunch.
A few minutes later, Estelle pushed open the door and left the bedroom.

“Good morning, Miss Hudson,” Mrs. Moorsum said smilingly. “I just talked to Mr. Mysterious on the phone. He said that he had something to deal with, so he left early this morning. He has promised that he will spend more time with you every morning. Don’t be sad. I’ll cook your favorite chicken soup for lunch.”
“Okay. Thank you, Mrs. Moorsum,” Estelle said and nodded slightly, feeling warm in her heart.
“It’s my pleasure,” Mrs. Moorsum said with a smile as she washed the vegetables.
“By the way, Miss Hudson, Mr. Mysterious’s voice sounded slightly strange today. It’s a little different from before.”
“How come?”
“I can’t quite find the words to describe his voice. Nevertheless, it did sound clearer than before. Perhaps the previous distortion was due to a poor signal,” Mrs. Moorsum informed her.
“Alternatively, it could be that Mr. Mysterious’s voice sounded cheerful because he was delighted to be reunited with you and the children yesterday. ‘Sir, how are you getting on with your health recently?’

‘I’m healthy and energetic. You’ll know how “energetic” I am tonight.’
Seeing the message, Estelle blushed and threw her phone aside, speechless.
‘Since he is still in the mood to joke with me, he should be in a good condition. Yohan is right. M. Mysterious is a superhero with endless energy.’
During lunch, Yohan asked Estelle, “Mom, Dad is not at home. It’s so boring. What are we going to do today?”
“Let’s go to visit your grandma. She’s my mother. She wants to see you and Yvonne very much,” Estelle said and then took a sip of the chicken soup.
Mrs. Moorsum was a brilliant cook. The chicken soup she cooked tasted almost the same as that the previous Mrs. Moorsum had cooked.
Yohan nodded and asked, “Will she like us?”
“Yes, she will like Yvonne and you very much, just like your great-grandpa does.”
Hearing their conversation, Mrs. Moorsum was a little worried and said, “Miss Hudson, can you take care of two children by yourself? Do you need me to go with you?”
With a smile, Estelle shook her head and said, “No, thanks, Mrs. Moorsum. We’ll take a taxi to the hospital. It’s very convenient. You’ve been working hard the past few days and deserve a rest. You can have a day off today.”

‘Who’s it? Is Mr. Mysterious back?’ Estelle wondered.

“Hi, Mrs. Moorsum. I’m here to pick up Miss Hudson.”
Hearing the familiar voice, Estelle, who was cleaning the table, came over and then saw Ron.
“Hi, Miss Hudson. Mr. Mysterious sent me here to pick you and the children up and drive you to the hospital,” Ron said with a smile.
“What happened to my mother?” Estelle asked.
“No, no, no. Mrs. Hudson has been recovering remarkably well lately. Mr. Mysterious remembered that you mentioned how much your mother longed to see the children, so he requested me to drive you and the kids to the hospital to visit her,” Ron clarified.
“Mr. Mysterious is so considerate!” Mrs. Moorsum said with a smile.
“Miss Hudson, the car is ready. I’ll wait for you downstairs. Take your time.”
“Okay. Thank you, Ron.”
At this time, Yohan ran over, held his hand warmly, and asked curiously, “Uncle, are you my dad’s friend?”
“I... I’m his subordinate,” Ron answered, feeling a little embarrassed.
“What is subordinate?”
“It means that I work for your dad. Whatever your father wants to do, I will help him.”

Estelle didn’t change her clothes and just put on light makeup.
Soon, Yohan changed into his favorite shirt and came out. Estelle then held Yvonne in her arms and set off with him.
Seeing them coming, Ron, who had been waiting for them, got out of the car and opened the car door for them.
