Amused by his words, Estelle couldn’t help but chuckle.
Yesterday, when she went downstairs, Mr. Mysterious was waiting for her, and when she saw him, she hugged him, and they kissed each other. Later, Mr. Mysterious was afraid that her feet would feel cold, so he wrapped his big hands around her feet to warm them.

“Mom, what are you laughing at? Did Dad scare away the bad guys?”
“Yes, your Dad did scare away the bad guys,” Estelle said as she nodded.
“I also want to witness Dad defeating those villains. However, both Uncle Eric and Mrs. Moorsum explained that children aren’t allowed to witness it until they become adults,” Yohan expressed with a pout to convey his disappointment. However, the next moment, his smile returned to his face again.
Gazing at him, Estelle couldn’t help but sigh with emotion.
‘I’m so lucky to have a son like Yohan. He is like sunshine that can always bring others warmth.’
‘My marriage with Cristofer is a failure and full of painful memories. But fortunately, I still have two lovely children. They are the most precious treasures in my life.’
“Mom, when can I grow up?”
“You’ll become an adult before you know it,” Estelle reassured. “Your Dad has already selected a preschool for you. You’ll attend school to learn later on. After completing preschool, you’ll move on to primary school, followed by middle school and high school. Eventually, you’ll attend college. By that point, you’ll have reached adulthood.”
“I’ll be allowed to watch Dad transforming into a superhero at that time, right?”
“I’ll ask your Dad about it when he comes back,” Estelle said and chuckled.
“Okay!”
At this time, a message from Mr. Mysterious came.
‘You’ve woken up?’
Estelle picked up her phone and replied to him. ‘Yes, I just woke up.’
‘Did you sleep well?’
‘Yes. I had a good sleep.’
‘That’s good.’
‘Sir, actually... We don’t need to communicate by text messages anymore.’
‘But I’m... I’m used to that.’
Seeing the message, Estelle couldn’t help smiling and thought, ‘Why is Mr. Mysterious so bashful? Is it because he has been living in loneliness before and is used to being alone that he can’t adapt to the sudden change in his life? It doesn’t matter. I’ll help him get rid of loneliness and adapt to the new life, just like how he helped me before.’
She texted him back. ‘Will you come back for dinner tonight?’
After thinking for a while, she sent another message. ‘Yohan wants to see you.’
‘What about you?’ Mr. Mysterious replied to her.
‘I also want to see you.’
‘You also want to see me? Why?’
Estelle was speechless and quickly blushed. Although she knew that Mr. Mysterious asked this on purpose and thought he was childish, she still replied honestly to his message.
‘Because I miss you.’
‘I miss you too. I’ll go back home early today.’
‘Okay, we’ll wait for you.’
“Mom, what did Dad say?” Yohan asked.
“He mentioned that he will return early tonight and join us for dinner!” Estelle said with a smile on her face.
“Yeah! I can see Dad tonight!” Yohan cheered.
Estelle then held his hand and explained to him, “Yohan, the dad you will see tonight is your new dad. And the dad you met at your great-grandpa’s house is your biological father. They are not the same person.”
Hearing this, Yohan was puzzled. “They are the same person. They look the same.”
“They do look the same, but it doesn’t mean that they are the same person. Do you know what twins are?”
“Yes!” Yohan said, still a little confused. “Mom, are my dad and my new dad twins?”
“Yes. That’s why they look the same as each other.”
“But...” Yohan said as he scratched his head. “Mom, I can’t tell which is which. I think they are the same person.”
“It doesn’t matter. You just need to know you will see your new dad tonight,” Estelle said gently.
Although Cristofer and Mr. Mysterious are different in many aspects, it may still be difficult for a five-year-old child-like Yohan to distinguish between them.

On the top floor of the Grand Hotel of Hadale City, Cristofer knocked on the door of a room.

Dressed in a high-end suit, Nelson poured a cup of coffee for him and said, “The coffee tastes good. Would you like to have a try?”
“No, thanks. Uncle Nelson, what is it you want to see me about?” Cristofer declined him politely and asked.
Nelson sneered and said, “Cristofer, do you still remember what you promised me before?”
“Of course,” Cristofer nodded.
Six years ago, his parents died, and he lost everything.
When he was in the most difficult time, Nelson helped him and provided him with the start-up capital to find Hans International Corporation.
Nelson’s helping Cristofer was conditional on the fact that Cristofer should do three things for him.
The first thing was that Cristofer must make the market value of Hans International Corporation exceed that of the Hudson Group within two years.
