Chapter 31

ZACK'S POV

It wasn't long since Guan left. I wasn't glad she left though, it may the bar feel empty and void for me. It was just me, and the bartender and some said of people who came to have a drink like I did.

Hot girls tolled in and my eyes swiftly ignored their coming. I was more focused on the fact the I needed to be with Guan.

Guan was really the voice I needed in my head. Her voice was definitely the way for me but what can I say, I blurted out the pain in my chest to her, I wonder... if she is going to look into it.

I shouldn't have let her know.

The fact I once had a mate who rejected me can be heart breaking for me. I don't even know what and what not to do anymore.

I looked around, and back at the drink. I focused on the drink till I felt... dizzy, for some reason, I wasn't feeling okay, I needed to leave, but I couldn't leave.

I couldn't just leave, I was feeling somewhat weak and devastated , the memories of everything came flooding back like an ocean.

I heard series of voices roaming in and out of my head. I was lost, I am tired , I need Guan's voice to lead me out of here.

"Sir... are you okay, you don't seem so good , Should I get ---"

"No no... I'm fine. Don't worry. I am okay."

"Are you sure about that "

"Yeah, I am sure."

I lied, I wasn't okay, I needed help, but I don't know how to ask, I don't like asking for help, especially when I'm at my most weakest. It not right, I love to proving myself Worthy, strong and capable of accomplishing any task that comes my way

I paid for the drinks I had and took my leave.

I got out and was embraced by the cold wind. I didn't let it get to me. I didn't even let it get to him. My Only goal was to get to my room. I managed to reach the apartment that was situated for me and Guan.

We couldn't really go back to the mansion. We had to stay around here because of the movie, it didn't freak me though, I could manage myself in extreme condition beyond the mansion.

Being an Alpha was never all about status. It was also about proving your worth for the title and I have done everything to prove myself Worthy for the title.

It why I'm termed ruthless, everyone fears me for one reason or the other. Nobody wants to Cross their boundaries, well , except this fucking vampires.

They never ceased to try and get to me.

I got to the apartment, tried to take out the keys to the apartment from my pocket but it wasn't there. Goodness...

Where's it?

I asked myself , looked around to see if I had dropped it somewhere but it wasn't around. I tried to think of where I might have dropped it. I couldn't really picture where I might have dropped it except, my car.

I made a low groan and crawled back to my car with my feet tugging against the ground. I couldn't just get myself. I guess all I needed now is some shut eye .

I landed my hand on my car and brought out my car keys and opened it up. Fetches the keys to my apartment and left. And ... headed back to my apartment.

THIRD PERSON POV.

Zack, the Wolf slowly moved across the environment, heading back to his apartment to have some shut eye , little did he know he was in for a surprise that night.

He looked around before trying to get in but abruptly.

He gets dragged by powerful Force that sends him down the road with a Great intensity..

He crashes into his car badly. A boot intersects his chest and drills him to the ground.

Zack, he was so lost, that he lost balance, he couldn't even identify his own opponent. He was completely lost. The latter picked him up and smashed him against the car.

Zack winched in pain. He got flung like a rag doll into a distance.

He coughed and struggled to get up so he could he defend himself but what to do. This fellow was stronger and more faster than him.

Him on the other was still trying to get it all together. He stood right up and tried to gather his mind back together and defend himself.

He was too slow In doing that. A fast punch intersected his chest and another slap went across his face with claws sprouted out.

Zack in the process twisted roughly and landed on the ground. His entire body lamented, there was no way he was going to keep up if he didn't he act quickly.

He had to do something, but what could he do ...

"Ulk!!", the opposition bangs his cheek with his fist yet again and boots him into a distance with a powerful force.

Guan Is awakened by Zack's voice. She wasn't sure but she was sure she heard him.

"Was that Zack... no no, he must be fast asleep. I think."

And then, it struck her.

She heard different snarls coming Outside.

Zack on the other was thrown into a circle. And he was almost surrounded.

"Zack Zack Zack... look at you. Weak, crouching at my feet. How pleasant this is.". The voice descended on him and a boot connected with his face with a powerful force Knocking him down.

Guan gasped, she had opened the window only to see this, Zack was being beaten up by this people. They kept berating him like something else why their leading captain observed with a grin on a face.

"Zack!"., She gasped. "Oh my God! Who are they? what do they want from him???", Guan couldn't help but held fear in her heart for Zack. "I ... I... I.. have to do something."
