Chapter 94 Plan D
While Hazel was getting excited about her progress, Rave was losing her last mind.
She couldn't believe she had the orb right in front of her and she couldn't get it.
And to make matters worse, Kael spoke to her that way. Kael repeatedly made her feel less of herself. She didn't like it, she didn't like it when people made her feel like Hazel deserved it and she didn't.
Azreal on the other hand was mad at Rave. Seeing his woman beg another man to take her, even if it was just because of the current situation… it didn't sit right with him at all.
Hearing her asked why he chose Hazel and not her made him feel very bitter.
Regardless, he didn't leave her side, he stayed with her, watching her pace back and forth as she waited for the vampires to arrive.
“What's taking them so long”?
She asked but Azrael remained painfully quiet.
Rave looked at him, wondering what was wrong with him as they hadn't spoken since yesterday after that incident happened. He hadn't left her side, but he kept his distance well enough to show he didn't want to speak to her.
“Wanna tell me what's going on”?
She asked and he finally turned to look at her.
“What are you talking about”?
He asked, trying to act oblivious but Rave could obviously tell something was wrong.
“For a demon like you, I'm surprised you still don't know how to lie”.
She said and he looked at her seriously.
“I have no reason to lie”.
He said and she stopped when she was right in front of him.
“You look like you're keeping a lot bottled in. Speak now Azrael, I'm already getting tired”.
She said but he simply looked away from her, making her look at him confused.
The first thought that came to her head was that he was thinking of changing sides now that Hazel side seemed to have the upper hand but she didn't want to believe that because Kael was related to Lucifer and the one person Azrael hated more than anything in the world was definitely Lucifer.
“What is it”?
She asked, sounding like she wasn't going to ask again.
Azrael simply stood up and walked out like he was tired of the conversation. Rave was surprised to see him act like this. He had never acted up like this before and it suddenly began to give her the feeling that he probably indeed wanted to abandon her.
She rushed after him.
“Are you abandoning me”?
She asked and he paused.
“Are you going to leave me now that you think I'll lose”?
She asked again and he turned to look at her with a brow raised.
“What are you talking about”?
He asked, surprised that she would even think that.
“You haven't spoke to me since yesterday, you keep ignoring me and when I try to ask what's wrong, you either make your answers short or you don't respond at all.
Isn't it because you found out that Hazel's heart is the orb”?
How he just looked at her in disbelief.
“What are you saying Rave! I told you her heart was the orb. Why would I tell you that if I didn't believe in you”?
She asked, shocked that she would even think that.
“Then why? Why are you keeping your distance from me”!
“Because I'm pissed”!!
He yelled and she looked at him, wondering what could have possibly pissed him off that much.
“When you insisted we killed his parents to separate him from Hazel, I felt it was all part of your plan but when I realized you just stood by Kael's side instead of focusing on Hazel, I got confused.
Yesterday, you went ahead to ask him why he wouldn't choose you.
I was right there, and you kept making it so obvious that you wanted to be with him”.
He said and Rave went speechless, just looking at him in shock.
“The least you could have done was respected me well enough to keep it to yourself, at least while I was there”.
Rave shook her head.
“You're getting it all wrong Azrael".
She said but he scoffed like he didn't believe her.
“The only reason why I stayed close to Kael and wanted to be his Luna was to gain more power.
I killed his parents because they didn't like me and they would get in the way of our plan.
Also, I stayed with him so he wouldn't think of Hazel anymore. I didn't know they already had a kid back then”.
She explained, hoping that he would actually understand her.
“I still did not like seeing you beg to be with him”.
He said and she nodded.
“I was wrong, I'm sorry. I didn't think about the effect it would have on you.
It was probably because I already believed you knew why I was acting that way.
The only reason why I'd be with Kael is to ruin Hazel even more".
She said and moved closer to him, her hand gently rubbed on his chest as she looked at her with a face that pleaded for him not to leave her.
“You're the only man I love, you're the only man I'll ever want to be with Azrael”.
She said and he sighed, calming down a bit.
“She raised her head and uses her free hand to pull him closer by his cheek.
She placed her lips on his, kissing him like she was trying to assure him that his doubts were not valid.
His hands slowly wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer and inviting her into his body.
After kissing for a while, they broke free so they could catch their breath.
“Don't put me in such a position ever again”.
He said and she nodded.
“Never”.
She said and he grabbed her butt cheeks, squeezing them in his hands, causing her to moan a little.
She was about to kiss him again when they heard cars drive in.
They both looked outside and Rave sighed in frustration. She was already getting wet with want.
“They just had to come now”.
She said and Azrael smiled.
“We can get to work as soon as they leave”.
He said and she nodded immediately.
“This had better be important”.
A man in a well tailored black suit said as he walked in.
“I'm glad you could make it”.
Rave said before both she and Azrael went ahead to sit down next to him.
“We are thinking of attacking the nightshade pack during the next full moon”.
She said and the man looked at her sharply.
“What? You want us to attack Kael's pack, and all we get for preparation is just two weeks”?
He asked but she shook her head.
“Oh come on, we have had years to plan, we've had time to think and come up with different ways to get the pack and kill their leaders.
All you need to do now is go back and get your men ready. They need to know that in two weeks time… we go to war.
And we will not return until we win".
He said and the man sighed.
He indeed wanted to eradicate nightshade pack and eventually get the lands for himself.
“What is your plan now? This is a new update, very unexpected if I am to be honest. So what is the plan”?
He asked and she looked at him for a pretty long time before she smiled.
“Plan D”
