Chapter 65 Wanna go to my place?
After a while, Hazel and Kael left with Lucian, leaving just Dona and Miguel.
“Want to sit”?
Dona asked after a while and Miguel cleared his throat before going to sit with her on the bed.
“Where did you guys go”?
She asked and he turned to look at her.
“Dragon pack. Kael killed their alpha”.
He said and her eyes opened wide.
“Why"?
She asked but his face didn't hold any form of sympathy for the dead alpha.
“He's been constantly causing trouble for Kael. It's only normal to get rid of your enemies. Plus I just found out he was also working with Rave and was trying to get the pack for himself”.
He said and she sighed before she nodded.
“I also met Cathy".
He said, still not used to referring to her as Rave.
“You did? What did she say”?
She asked but when she noticed how silent he was, she knew something had happened.
“Miguel”?
She called when he didn't answer her.
“She asked me to come work for her”.
Dona's eyes opened wide.
“You… you're not considering it, are you”?
She asked and he went silent again.
“Miguel”!
She called but he simply sighed and dropped his head.
“You can't be serious, she's evil. She's only going to use you and you can't possibly think of hurting Kael".
She said and he finally raised his head to look at her.
The expression on his face wasn't the one she was expecting as he looked more disgusted that confused.
“Of course I'm not thinking of betraying Kael".
He finally said and she let out a heavy sigh.
She really liked Miguel but she liked Hazel and Lucian too and Kael had been very nice to her since she started staying with them.
She felt she finally had a family she never had.
If Miguel betrayed Kael, she would be broken and torn.
“I'm pissed”.
He said and she raised a brow, confused as to what he was talking about.
“Do I look like a betrayer? Why would she assume it was a good idea to tell me something that stupid”?
He asked, visibly pissed that she brought such a conversation his way.
“I have been Kael's best friend since we were kids, we've known each other and fought along side each other for the longest time.
I can't betray him. I'd rather die in his place”.
He said and Dona could see that he was being vulnerable before her so she tried to lighten the mood.
“You fell for his girl though”.
She said and he looked at her, trying to read if she was being serious but he was met with a warm smile.
“Hazel was… I don't know what I was thinking".
He said, he didn't regret caring about Hazel but even he knew his actions back then was pretty crazy.
Now, he couldn't even see her as anything more than a friend. It was still surprising to him how clear headed he became as soon as she rejected him. It was definitely something he needed.
“Don't think about it too much, she's only trying her luck and hoping she can get people on her side.
I'm sure she already knew deep down that she wouldn't be able to get you. And I'm glad you know exactly where your heart lies”.
She said and he looked at her for a while.
“Where my heart lies”.
He said in a whisper, unable to take his eyes off of her.
“It feels like it's in the right place”.
He said before leaning forward.
Dona knew he was trying to kiss her and even though she wanted that more than anything in the world, even though she wanted him to move in and kiss her faster, she couldn't help the rate at which her heart was beating.
It was beating so fast.
As soon as his lips touched hers, a passion she didn't know she had suddenly ignited.
She didn't kiss him back immediately but it didn't take long for her to return the energy.
Their kiss deeped and soon, she was lying on the bed as he went in with his tongue, tracing every part of her mouth.
While using one of his hands to hold his body up so he doesn't crush her tiny body.
He was unbuttoning her shirt when she suddenly broke the kiss and pushed him up a little.
He looked at her, confused as to why she suddenly stopped him.
“What's wrong”?
He asked and Dona pointed to the picture on the wall.
“I don't feel comfortable doing this in Lucian's room”.
She said and he looked at her in shock as his eyes blinked twice.
He understood what she meant but his wolf didn't seem to give a fuck.
All he wanted was to take all of her for himself.
“Take her home, or somewhere else”!
His wolf yelled but he simply nodded and sat up.
“It's fine, we can wait until you're ready. No pressure”.
He said.
“What!! There is a lot of pressure. I need her, we both need her”!
Miguel sighed and closed his eyes, trying hard to shut his wolf up but the big guy was very hungry and the only thing that could satisfy his hunger was Dona.
Not only did he want to become one with her, but he wanted so desperately to mark her as his.
Miguel could feel his gum itching for her blood but it seems he really cared about her.
He wasn't going to force her to do anything.
Dona knelt behind him on the bed and buried her head into his neck, sending waves of tension and passion down every blood vein he had.
“I never said I didn't want to be with Miguel…”
She said and moved so he could look at her.
“All I said was I'm not comfortable doing it here”.
She said and he swallowed.
“Are you sure? Once I have you, I'm never letting you go”.
He said and she smiled.
“I don't have plans of leaving you either”.
She said and he leaned in and kissed her lightly.
“Wanna go to my place”?
