Chapter 64 Make me a sister

Chapter 64 Make me a sister
As soon as they arrived, there were men outside already waiting to hand them their clothes.

Kael rushed in and began looking around, looking for Hazel. He noticed Dona looking from upstairs so he asked.

“Where is she”?

His voice was raw, and firm. His demon and wolf collided in fear and rage as they were ready to kill anyone who hurt her.

Dona instinctively pointed behind her. He rushed upstairs only to see her sitting with a very weak expression on her face.

“Hazel”.

Her name fell out of his mouth like he’d been holding his breath since he left her.

Hazel pushed herself to stand but her knees felt weak. Kael rushed towards her, closing the distance between them and caught her before Dona could even move.

His hands gripped her arms gently, but his eyes searched her like he expected to find blood or broken bones.

“What happened to you”?

He asked but she smiled and shook her head.

“I'm fine, I just feel a little bit tired”.

She said but he shook his head, his eyes focused on hers.

“You're not, I could feel the pain you were feeling Hazel. It felt like your heart was being ripped out”.

Hazel was surprised to see he actually felt it exactly the way it happened.
Usually, a mate can tell if their mate is hurting or in danger but they can't feel exactly how the other feels.

“Are you sure no one attacked you”?

Hazel shook her head.

“It was just a vision. A vision that talked about the beginning and the end of this war”.

Kael didn't fully understand what she was talking about but just when he was about to ask her to elaborate, Hazel spoke first.

“That's not what's important. Lucian was visited today, visited by some small girl".

She said and he raised a brow.

“Lucian had a vision”?

He asked in shock as the boy was still very little.

“It wasn't a vision, it was a visitation”.

Dona suddenly spoke, drawing their attention.

“You can say she was more like an uninvited guest in Lucian's head”.

She added and Kael looked back at Hazel.

“Is he alright”?

He asked, his eyes begging for his son to be fine.

“He’s safe, for now”.

Hazel said softly but her reply didn't really ease Kael's tension.

“Do we know who she is? Or probably where to find her"?

He asked but both Hazel and Dona shook their heads.
The both were unsure of who the little girl was.

“I need to see him”.

He said and went into Lucian's room but shortly after he walked in, he rushed out.

“Is he sleeping somewhere else”?

He asked and Hazel looked at him with a brow raised.
“What are you saying? He's in his room”.

She said but he shook his head.

“There's no one there”.

Hazel immediately stood up even though she still felt a bit wobbly.

“Lucian”?

She called as soon as she got into the room. She walked straight to his bed but he was not there.
She became tensed. They all got so frightened.

“Calm down, can you smell him”?

Dona asked and they nodded.

“Then he's still here somewhere right”?

Dona asked and suddenly, they heard him speak.

“I'm here”!

He said and following the voice, the saw the little boy lying on the ceiling, rubbing his sleepy eyes innocently.

“Mom? Why do you all look like you're floating”?

He asked but Hazel was speechless. She has never seen him like this.

“Lucian? Can you come down”?

Hazel asked but Lucian didn't even know he was lying on the ceiling yet.

“I think it's the pill, it made some of his powers surface faster than they were supposed to”.

Suddenly, the boy fell but Kael caught him right in time.

His eyes was opened wide as he kept looking at his dad.

“No way! I was flying"!

His fear was immediately replaced with excitement as he looked back up at the ceiling.
Kael smiled and shook his head before dropping the boy on the bed.

“We're going to have to work on you giving us a fright like that”.

He said but Lucian who didn't know how panicked they were was just excited to know he could fly.

“Mummy said my powers will come when I turn eighteen but I'm only four and half”.

The way he said it made them all laugh.

“Hey, Lucian do you want to sleep in daddy and mummy's room again today”?

Kael asked but Lucian shook his head.

“No thank you, I'm now a big boy. I can fly”.

Kael wasn't expecting him to reject the offer so easily seeing how excited he was to share a room with them previously.

“Yes baby, we know you can fly, but we would love for you to stay with us tonight”.

Hazel said and Lucian looked at her before looking back at Kael.

“If I keep sleeping in your room, will mummy be able to give me a sister”?

The entire room fell silent. Hazel was looking at him in complete shock.

Kael finally got himself back and asked.

“You want a sister”?

He asked and Lucian nodded immediately.

“Mummy said she was going to get a daughter but doesn't it require both of you”?

Kael looked at Hazel and she covered her mouth in shock as she shook her head trying to show she was completely innocent.

“I have no idea how he knows any of that”.

She said in a whisper but all three adults in the room could hear her clearly.

Kael held Lucian's hand and spoke.

“Don't worry about that, just stay with us for tonight”.

He said and Lucian looked at both of them for a while before he finally nodded.

“Okay”.

Kael couldn't help the chuckle that came out of his mouth, as his sons words kept replaying in his mind.

Standing up, he moved close to Hazel and whispered in her ear.

“Why didn't you tell me needed a daughter? We would have gotten straight to business”.

Hazel hit him gently on his chest and he smiled lightly.
