Chapter 60 A helper?
Dona had a paper in her hand, but her eyes looked deep. Anyone could tell that she was not herself anymore. And when Hazel heard what she said, she could already tell these were all letters from her mom.
“Your battle is in your hands. Yes, you might have people who help you on the way, but only you can end the war ahead. Only you can get rid of the evil and bring peace back to world”.
As soon as she was done, the paper fell and she closed her eyes.
Hazel looked at her for a while and asked.
“Are you okay”?
She asked but Dona said nothing and picked another paper.
“For whatever question you have, the answer is already deep inside you. All you have to do is look within”.
Hazel looked confused, she was trying to put the pieces together but she was still very lost.
“Why do they keep thinking I have all the answers”?
She said to herself and Dona picked up another paper.
“You're going to meet someone very important, someone who is going to help you achieve everything. Someone who is going to fight with you to the death, make sure you accept the help when it comes and make sacrifices when you have to”.
Hazel was lost in thoughts.
“I'll meet someone”?
She wasn't sure if she was going to meet someone new or if it had to do with the people she had met already.
“Why can't you just give me clear answers”?
She looked frustrated and Dona looked tired.
She forcefully pulled the paper away from her hand, causing her to close her eyes for a while, trying to get herself back.
Hazel was lost in her own thoughts until Dona finally came back around.
“Are you okay”?
She asked and Dona nodded.
“Mnn, I just feel a little light headed”.
She said and Hazel sighed.
“Did I get anything meaningful? For some reason I just couldn't see anything”.
Hazel looked at her, surprised that she had a blind vision.
“You mean you can't remember anything from your vision”?
She asked and Dona shook her head.
“It didn't feel like a vision, it felt like some sort of possession. For a moment, I couldn't feel my body”.
Hazel looked back at the papers as she wasn't expecting that.
She left Dona to rest for a bit, while she went back to her room.
It was only after she sat on the bed that she felt the key she had placed in her back pocket.
She took it out and looked at it for a while.
She wasn't sure what it was supposed to unlock. At first, she thought it had to do with the seal but the key space of the seal was nothing like this key.
Bringing the key closer, she noticed there was something written on it.
“Vulnerio”?
She tried to read the weird writing but suddenly, the key floated out of her hand and into the air. It was covered in gold dust for a few minutes before it charged right into her chest.
Hazel held her chest in pain as the pain was sharp and deep.
It didn't last long though. The pain left as quickly as it came, lasting just a few minutes.
The key that was floating in the air suddenly fell to the ground, drawing her attention.
She picked it up in total confusion.
She wasn't sure what was happening or what had just happened but she could tell she had unlocked something.
Picking up her phone, she took a picture of the word on the key and searched it up. But there was nothing like that online.
“Of course, what was I expecting”.
She said to herself as she sighed and fell to the bed.
“Who is that someone who will fight with me? Could it be Kael"?
That was the only person she could think of. There was no one else asides Kael who she believed would actively fight by her side.
Yes Dona, would fight with her, but it just didn't feel like the message was speaking about her.
Suddenly, she had so much to think about. Her hand instinctively went to her chest and she rubbed it a little before getting up from the bed.
She went straight to the mirror to see if there was anything visible, but there was nothing, she looked perfectly fine.
There was so much in her mind that she didn't even know where to start thinking from but suddenly, she heard Lucian yelled from downstairs.
Rushing to him, she looked at the maid who was standing in fear. Obviously scared for her life but Lucian just remained bent on the floor, his head bent so no one could see his face.
“What happened”?
She asked but the lady shook her head. Dona who had also heard the loud yell rushed out of her room.
“We were only playing with a few toys when he suddenly began to yell”.
Hazel bent towards Lucian and called him gently.
“Lucian? What's wrong baby? Can you look at mummy”?
She was trying to look at his face when he suddenly jumped on her.
Since she wasn't balanced well, she fell to the ground and the little boy began to strangle her with his tiny hands.
He was a lot stronger than he looked because of his powers and when she saw how black his eyes had turned, she knew he was seeing something.
It wasn't her he was fighting, it was something in his head.
“Lucian… you can fight this”.
She said said, trying her best not push his hands away as that might agitate him even more.
He had a very angry look on his face, almost like whatever it was had pissed him off.
“I'm going to kill you”.
He said but Hazel spoke again.
“No, don't, you can't let it win Lucian, you have to fight back. Fight with all your might”.
Hazel said and his eyes began to flicker as his expression turned calmer.
“Mummy"?
He called and she nodded.
“Mnnn, it's me”.
She noticed his eyes turning back to its normal color and the little boy began to cry.
