Chapter 42 Is she truly Mother?
Miguel looked at her for a while before he finally spoke.
“Will you give me an answer when I get back”?
He asked and she blinked severally before she smiled.
“Why wait”?
She asked, confusing him but before he knew it, she raised her leg a bit and placed a very gentle peck on his lips before moving back with a smile.
“Does that answer your question”?
She asked and he nodded with a smile.
“I'll see you tomorrow”.
He said and she nodded before he walked out.
Hazel was in Dona's room, trying to see if she would be able to get a vision from the seal.
She kept looking at it for a while, unsure if it was a good idea to touch the seal or not. She might be a tribreed but compared to Dona, her witch power was still a bit inferior.
Closing her eyes she decided to try it.
“There's no two ways about it, I need to check it out myself”.
She said before she grabbed the seal and closed her eyes.
As soon as she tried to connect with the seal, a force so strong pushed her to the wall and the seal fell to the ground.
She groaned in pain as she opened her eyes and tried to stand up but when she opened her eyes, she noticed she wasn't in her room anymore.
She was in a totally different place, somewhere that did not look familiar at all.
It was pretty dark, but the crystals all around the room made her see a little.
“Where is this place”?
She said to herself.
“You actually came, I'm glad”.
She turned as soon as she heard a woman's voice but when she turned, she couldn't see anyone.
“Goodness me Hazel. You really had to touch the seal didn't you”.
She heard Dove speak but she ignored her, looking around for whoever it was that spoke.
“Who are you, what do you want”?
She asked.
“Me”?
She heard the voice again and turned, only to see a lady in very little outfit come out from the darkness.
Hazel blinked a few times, seeing how beautiful the lady looked. She left very little to the imagination as most of her cleavage was out, her tummy was also very visible and the wrap that covered her lower body was only covering a very little part of her thigh to her waist, but it had a long strap on the left.
When the lady got close to Hazel, she flashed a smile and spoke.
“I'm someone who has been waiting to see you”.
She said, causing Hazel to raise a brow.
“Your mother”.
Now Hazel was even more suspicious of this person.
“My mother is dead”.
She said but the lady rolled her eyes and sighed.
“I'm not talking about your birth mother, I'm talking about your source”.
She said and Hazel's eyes opened wide.
“Did you drop the seal there”?
Hazel asked and the lady smiled.
“Of course, but you all got it wrong. It wasn't for Rave, neither was it for Kael… it was for you”.
She said and turned around, moving to a table that had crystals around it.
“Why”?
Hazel asked.
“Why do you think”?
The lady asked and turned to Hazel seriously.
“I needed to see how my beautiful daughter is doing”.
She said and Hazel just kept looking at her, trying to study her.
“You're not really falling for this are you? There no way our source would be this young and beautiful”.
Dove said and the lady smiled.
“Thanks for your input Dove, but I'm immortal. I can stay young forever if I want to”.
She said and Hazel opened her eyes wide.
“You can hear my wolf”?
She asked and the lady raised one side of her lips.
“Of course, you got all of your powers from me”.
She said and looked at Hazel as her smile vanished.
“Although you've been disappointing me quite often”.
She said and Hazel looked at her, confused.
“Rave is not going to stop until she gets the golden orb and activates the seal. If she gets all of those powers, including yours, she will be unstoppable”.
She said but Hazel didn't seem to get it.
“What does that have to do with you being disappointed in me though”?
She asked and the woman looked at her surprised.
“You still haven't figured it out yet”?
She asked and Hazel let out a sigh.
“How exactly am I supposed to know anything when no one tells me anything in the first place”?
She asked and the friendly and calm look on the woman's face vanished.
“So you're the type to wait and be spoon fed every information? Do you think Rave or every other supernatural entity that is trying so fucking hard to take your powers will wait for you to actually catch up?
Do you think they will be ready to spoon feed you every information just because you ask”?
She asked and Hazel noticed how serious she was.
“Meeting you was a mistake. You're not ready and until you are, telling you anything will only lead to an imbalance in the world”.
She said and went silent for a while, just looking at her.
“When you're ready, you know how to find me”.
She said and began walking away but Hazel rushed over and held her hand.
As soon as she did that, her eyes opened wide and after a few seconds, she gently left the lady's hand.
“What exactly… do you want me to find”?
She asked and the lady looked bored.
“Everything Hazel. Rave figured it all out at the age of eight. She's been ready and plotting since she was eight years old.
You have a lot of catching up to do”.
She said and walked away.
After she left, Hazel gasped as she opened her eyes and found herself back in the room.
“Of course Rave knew since she was eight, someone must have been feeding her with a lot of information”.
She said but she soon thought of something.
“I was eight when I became friends with Cathy. Does that mean… Dona is right”?
