Chapter 166 If Only We Could Meet Like the First Time
Chapter 167 Are You Satisfied?
Aiden acted like he'd heard a joke. He grabbed Keira's wrist, gripping so hard it felt like he'd crush her bones.
"Give up? Never! If you want to live here, I'll stay with you! Wherever you want to go, I'll go there. For the rest of your life, you'll never shake me off again!"
Keira's wrist hurt from his grip. That suffocating feeling of disgust surged up like a wave, impossible to suppress.
She yanked her hand free, covered her mouth, and bent over, dry heaving.
Her face turned deathly pale.
The scene seemed to hit pause.
All of Aiden's intense emotions froze instantly.
He stared at Keira's violently heaving shoulders, a flash of shock in his eyes.
Then his gaze locked onto her slightly trembling body.
Was she... pregnant?
Aiden suddenly stepped back, his expression shifting wildly.
Various emotions intertwined in his eyes, forming a terrifying storm.
"You," his throat tightened, "what's wrong with you?"
Keira stopped dry heaving and straightened up. She wiped the corner of her mouth forcefully and didn't answer.
She had no obligation to answer.
But her silence, to Aiden, was as good as an admission.
He shouted toward the door, "Get a doctor in here! Now!"
Justin immediately contacted a doctor. Within just a few minutes, the doctor arrived.
Aiden pointed at Keira. "Examine her!"
"I don't need it." Keira backed away sharply, her eyes wary. "Aiden, are you crazy? Tell your people to get out!"
At this point, she wasn't worried about her pregnancy being discovered, but if he found out, it would be really troublesome.
But he'd already lost control. He stepped forward and signaled the bodyguards to hold her down by force.
Keira was both shocked and furious. Unable to break free, she slapped Aiden hard across the face!
The crisp, loud slap was particularly jarring.
Time seemed to freeze in that moment.
Aiden's head turned from the impact, finger marks quickly appearing on his cheek.
He slowly turned his head back, his gaze fixed on Keira, eyes blazing.
"Aiden, get out! You make me sick! I want to throw up just looking at you!"
Keira's chest heaved violently, tears welling up uncontrollably.
But she bit her lip hard, refusing to let them fall.
She just glared at him with those red, hate-filled eyes.
Aiden raised his hand and grimly wiped the corner of his mouth.
"Keira, have you forgotten? Forgotten how you used to follow me around like a puppy, groveling and clinging desperately?
I'm just giving you back a little bit of what you gave me back then. Why can't you handle it?"
His words stabbed straight into Keira's heart.
Those unbearable memories from the past, torn open so brutally by him.
How ridiculous.
She stopped talking.
Saying one more word would only make her pathetic.
Just then, the doctor's examination results came in.
The experienced doctor wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Under Aiden's pressing gaze, he spoke nervously,
"Mr. Coleman, this lady is indeed pregnant, over a month along."
Something seemed to explode completely in Aiden's mind.
He whipped around, his bloodshot eyes fixed on Keira.
But before he could process this information, Keira reacted first.
"This child isn't yours!"
She paused, as if to pour salt on the most painful spot in his heart,
"It's Sean's."
Aiden's vision went dark.
Sean! Was it him?
They'd actually, actually had a child together without him knowing?
So that's why she was so determined to leave, that's why she used that three billion dollars to buy her way out!
"Good! Very good!"
Aiden laughed in fury and shouted at the bodyguards and doctor, "Watch her closely. Without my permission, no one lets her leave here! And,"
He took a deep breath, "Prepare for surgery. Make her abort it!"
Keira screamed, glaring at Aiden. "If you dare hurt me, I swear! I'll hate you forever, for all eternity! I'll never forgive you!"
She could handle her own child, but it was absolutely not his place to deal with it!
Aiden's eyes were bloodshot as he approached her step by step, his voice pained and hoarse,
"You love him that much? For him, you'd use these words to hurt me?"
Keira met his anguished gaze without flinching,
"That's right. Are you satisfied now?"
Aiden looked at her resolute, cold face, with only desolation left in his eyes.
"Good. Very good." He repeated these words, his voice terrifyingly hollow,
"Since you love him so much, since this is your child with him, then stay here. Don't even think about going anywhere."
With that, he stopped looking at her, turned around, and gave the bodyguards an order, "Watch her."
Keira was locked alone in a bedroom on the second floor, where even the windows had been sealed shut.
She sat on the cold floor with her knees drawn up, back against the bed frame, staring blankly ahead.
Sharp pains came from her stomach, but her heart hurt more.
She regretted it—she shouldn't have stayed and put herself in such danger.
Just then, the door opened.
Aiden walked in carrying a tray with steaming hot food on it.
He walked up to her and placed the tray on the nightstand. "Eat."
Keira didn't even lift her eyelids, as if Aiden in front of her was just empty air.
"I said, eat." Aiden's patience was running out.
Keira slowly raised her head, looking at him coldly. "When you leave here, when you set me free, that's when I'll eat."
"You!"
Aiden's heart felt like it was being squeezed hard, the pain almost suffocating him.
He suddenly bent down, gripping her chin and forcing her to look up at him. "Keira, do you have to torture me like this?"
"You're the one imprisoning me, Aiden. Who's really torturing who?"
Seeing the undisguised resistance in her eyes, Aiden's last shred of reason disappeared.
He picked up the oatmeal directly, scooped up a spoonful, and forcefully brought it to her lips. "Open your mouth!"
Keira was extremely irritated and turned her head away.
The spoonful of oatmeal hit her as she moved, grazing her face, spilling on her clothes, and splashing on Aiden's hand.
Aiden sucked in a sharp breath, his expression dark, and tried again. "I said eat!"
This time, Keira didn't dodge. Instead, she raised her hand and swung hard.
The entire tray was knocked over by her.
Oatmeal and dishes spilled all over Aiden.
His expensive suit became filthy. He looked utterly disheveled.
"Keira, stop being so stubborn!" He stood up, furious.
Keira sneered. "Then get out and stop appearing in front of me!"
Just then.
Someone knocked on the door. Justin's urgent voice came through,
"Mr. Coleman! Dashiell is here. He says he needs to see you."
