Chapter 104 Side Story 11
Devon.
"I'll be fine. If I agree to your help, we may never leave this bathroom." I tell her and she grins before walking out of the bathroom. I watch her leave, closing the door behind her before stepping into the shower, turning on cold water only head, eager to get my raging desires under control so I can enjoy today.
Done with my bath, I walk back to the bedroom and meet Jessica already dressed and breakfast prepared. The scents of italian cuisinart warps through my nose and my stomach growls loudly, reminding me of how hungry I am. Jessica sees me and a smile hits her lips.
"Breakfast is served!" She announces, gesturing to the food on the table.
"Oh, this looks good." I mutter as I approach the table.
"I know right?" He answers, walking towards me with a cup of flavorful coffee. "Here's your cup of Cappuccino. You can have it with some Cornetto or Frittata."
"Hmm..." I hum as I take a sip of the Cappuccino. "Tastes equally amazing."
"I almost dug in without you. Hurry up so we can eat together!" She yells out and I smile, going to the wardrobe to pick up my clothes, putting them on before returning back to the dining table to have breakfast.
Digging into my Cornetto, Jessica gazes at me before feeding me from my plate. I lean forward, taking it from her forks before smiling sheepishly at her.
"What are we going to do today?" She asks and I mull over it for a while.
"I was hoping we could explore italy. There's some great tourist spots just outside this hotel." I tell her and she purses her lips, her eyes lighting up.
"Okay, let's go there once we done here." She announces and I nod. Once we're done with our breakfast, we call on the hotel attendants to clean up the space before leaving for tour, out on the streets, hand in hand.
"You know your way around here?" Jessica asks as I shake my head.
"No, but I have a map." I tell her. I feel her stiffen and press a kiss on her forehead. "Don't worry, we won't get lost, I already made some reservations with a tour guide."
She lets out a sigh of relief at that, resting her head on my shoulders. Since it's not too far from the hotel, our first stop was the Amalfi Coast. As I walk hand in hand with Jessica along the mesmerizing Amalfi Coast, I find myself utterly captivated by the sheer beauty that surrounds us. This enchanting coastal paradise seems like a place where time stands still, where every moment is a gift to be cherished. My eyes are immediately drawn to the breathtaking scenery. Towering cliffs, kissed by the golden rays of the Mediterranean sun, rise majestically from the cerulean sea below. The coastline is a masterpiece of nature, with every twist and turn revealing a new, awe-inspiring vista. I can't help but stop frequently to take in the views, pulling Jessica closer to share these moments of wonder.
"Woah..." Jessica mutters aloud, walking forward to really enjoy the scene. The gentle breeze tousling her hair about as the sun gives her skin a gentle glow. "This is gorgeous." She murmurs and I nod, walking up to her and wrapping my hands around her waist.
"We should take a picture." I suggest and she looks you at me, clapping her hands in excitement.
"Of course! Why didn't I think of that." She says to herself, giggling. Fishing out a portable camera that she always brings out to trip, she beckons to a passing tourist.
"Sorry for disturbing you," I hear her say, "but do you mind, taking a picture of us?" She asks and the man readily agrees. We get in position and with me pressing a kiss on her cheeks, we take a picture, capturing this experience forever.
We continue with our tour afterward, visiting various tourist hotspots before deciding to have lunch in the city. As we explore the coastal villages, Jessica and I indulge in the culinary delights of the region. We savor freshly caught seafood, perfectly cooked pasta dishes, and share bites of cannoli filled with sweet ricotta cream. I can't help but admire the way Jessica's eyes light up with each new flavor, her appreciation for the local cuisine adding to the joy of our journey.
"This is so good," Jessica mumbles as she takes a bite of a freshly made Italian pizza, rolling her eyes. Passing it to me, she smiles, her eyes glinting. "Here, you should try it," she urges. Gazing at the outstretched pizza slice in her hands, I shake my head, a corner of my lips quirking up.
Smiling, I take a bite from her outstretched piece, licking up the sauce that has run down her hands. Chewing it and gobbling it down, I finish the whole piece and lick her fingers clean. She grimaces at the sight.
"That's disgusting," she murmurs, but her voice is filled with mirth. I grin, pressing her hands to my chest.
"Not if it's from you," I tell her, but she just shakes her head. I catch a flush on her cheeks and grin, kissing her forehead. The gentle symphony of the sea's waves is a constant companion as we stroll along. It's a soothing backdrop to our walk, a calming reminder of the vastness and power of the ocean. Occasionally, we hear the laughter of children playing on the nearby beach, the melodic tones of Italian conversations drifting from the charming villages we pass through, and the distant echoes of a church bell ringing out the time. We continue to walk for some time, passing by a local Italian street market. Enamored by the beautiful display of their wares, Jessica slows down and we take a walk through the market.
Jessica spots an old woman selling hair trinkets at the side of the market and decides to buy one, prodding me along. We reach the old lady's stand, and Jessica picks out the ornament she finds most attractive, picking it up and stretching it towards the older woman.
