Chapter 95
He comes back in with the doctor to check Veronica. She is screaming in pain again.
“What’s going on?” Luis asks.
The doctor doesn’t say anything but motions for Octavio to stand outside. He pulls off the blanket and spreads her legs to see if there is any unusually bleeding or anything only to see what looks like another head.
“NURSE GET IN HERE NOW!” He yells. Then three nurses come running in with worried looks.
“Jefe she is having another baby.”
“WHAT.” He yells as his eyes open wide and his face pales.
“Jefa I need to you to push. This baby is stuck.”
Veronica nods and screams as she pushes the baby out. It takes her about 20 minutes of pushing to get the baby out. When the baby is out she collapses on the bed exhausted and panting.
“Jefe cut the cord please.” Luis takes the scissors with shaky hands and cuts the cord. “It’s another boy.” The doctor says as he cleans the baby up.
“You need to make sure there are no more in there.” Luis says with a chuckle.
The nurse brings over the ultrasound machine and they quickly check her belly to find no more babies.
“Jefe she did tear a little with the last one so I am going to have to stitch her up.”
He nods and kisses Veronica’s forehead. “Baby you need to sleep.”
“Yes, Jefa you need to sleep. The babies will be hungry in about an hour or so. Will you be breast feeding?” The nurse asks.
“I am going to try.”
“Okay either way is fine with us. We will have a nurse come help you when it’s time. Just let us know when the babies start getting hungry.” The doctor states.
“Yes doctor. Thank you. Oh, could you send my son in too please?” Luis says.
“Of course.” Dr. Brown nods before leaving the room again.
Octavio comes in and is in shock when there is another baby that Luis is holding.
“Triplets?”
“Yes, son. You are going to be busy.” Luis said with a laugh.
“Would you like to hold them?” Veronica asked.
He nods and says, “One at a time though. I don’t want to drop them.”
Luis chuckles. “Why don’t you sit in the chair there and I’ll hand you them one at a time until you have held them all.”
Octavio runs to the chair and sits down. Luis hands him his sister first.
“This is the girl. The only girl.” Luis says. “She will be spoiled for sure.” He adds with a chuckle and Veronica giggles.
“Have you named them yet?” Octavio asks.
Veronica shakes her head. “I’m hoping the three of us could do that as a family.”
“Baby I know you have an idea what you want to name them. Could you tell us and we can see what we think?”
“Okay I can do that. The princess over there would be Alexandra Esmerelda Molina. Then the two princes would be Luca Javier Molina and the one you have love would be Michael Gavin Molina.”
“I actually think they are perfect. What do you think son?”
“I agree. I love them. They fit the names perfectly.”
Veronica looks at her family and smiles. “Thank you both.”
“For what mama?”
“For being here. For making us a family. I went from being alone to us being a family of 6 now. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more loved and taken care of in my whole life.”
“If it wasn’t for you being the amazingly strong woman you are, none of this would be possible. I can’t wait to have a life with you and our kids, all of our kids. Thank you for being so amazing. And thank you for making it easy to love you.”
Just as he was about to kiss her their daughter screams.
