Chapter 111

“We have betrayers sons. I am going to get your mother and then we will deal with them.”

“Can we come?” Luca asks in a shaky voice.

“I would expect you both to come if you are going to take over for us.” Luis says with a smile.

They both nod and smile to him as they all walk down the hallway towards Luis and Veronica’s room to find an agitated Veronica and pissed off Gavin that they were locked in the bedroom.

“Luis I swear to God, you better tell me what the fuck is going on.”

Luis chuckles and walks over to her before scooping her up. “Let’s go have some fun dear.”

Veronica looks at him with wide eyes. “With who?”

“You’ll see and I promise you won’t be disappointed.”

“Okay fine.” She says with a giggle.

Luis carries her out of the room and down the hallway back to the front door. They get her into an awaiting car where Gloria is waiting as well.

They drive in silence for the 10 minutes it takes to drive to the bunker.

Luis scoops Veronica up again and carries her into the torture chambers. He sets her down on her feet right outside the room she has been using for her torture.

“Who is on the other side?” She asks looking between Gloria and Luis.

Luis smiles and opens the door. “Trust me love. It will all come out. I want you to sit back and listen until you know everything.”

Veronica doesn’t say anything and nods to him.

He leads the group in and gets a chair set up for Veronica to watch from behind.

Gloria’s parents are tied with chains from their wrists to the ceiling. Gloria gasps but then looks to Luis who nods to her and she nods back. “Thank you Jefe.”

She runs her hand down to cover her baby bump and goes to stand by Veronica. Luca gets another chair out for Gloria to sit down.

Luis walks up to her parents before he starts talking. “So did you think you would be able to get away with it forever?”

They both laugh and share a glance but don’t say anything.

“You realize that you put your daughter in a horrible spot right?”

Charles scoffs and looks away. “Like we fucking care.” He finally says causing Gloria to burst into tears.

Luis gets out his phone and asks Octavio to come to the chambers to support Gloria.

Octavio comes in about a minute later and instantly hugs her tight as he sooths her. He sets her back in the chair next to his mother and kisses her head.

“What’s going on dad?”

“Well, I’ll tell you son. These two have betrayed not just us but their own daughter.”

“WHAT?” He yells before he launches at Charles and punches him several times in the face.

“Apparently they have been having affairs with your mother’s uncle Joe and aunt Clara. They also have been working with them which is why they were there to take you from the wedding.”

Both Charles and Claudia look at Luis with wide eyes not realizing that he knew everything that was going on.

“Something to keep in mind. Make sure you don’t get overheard if you talk through your plans.” Luis says in a sarcastic tone.

“You fucking bitch. How dare you betray us?” Charles yells out at Gloria which only makes her cry harder. Octavio launches punch after punch on his face until he passes out. He runs to Gloria and scoops her up before he carries her back up to the house.

Veronica tries to get up but can’t. Luca and Michael help her and she walks over to where Luis is. He wraps an arm around her waist and steads her.

“How dare you destroy your own fucking daughter? You will die a torturous and painful death for that.”

“Not that it fucking matters anyway when Joe gets here.” Claudia says with a chuckle.

Luis looks at her with a smirk. “You don’t even realize do you?”

“Realize what?” Charles says.

“Do you not even know where we were?”

“Why would we care where you were?” Claudia asks with a chuckle as she looks to Charles who is smiling as well.

“You would think you would want to know that Joe and Clara are both dead as well as the rest of their team.”

“NO. YOU ASSHOLE. HOW DARE YOU KILL THE ONLY MAN I HAVE EVER LOVED.” Claudia screams.

Charles is trying to get out of his restraints to kick Luis or Veronica.

Everyone else in the room is laughing at their reactions.

Veronica leans into Luis’s ear. “My love, I need to sit.”

Luis nods and sets her back in the chair she was just sitting in. He kisses her passionately before he walks back up to Charles. “Should we kill you first or do you want to watch your wife die? I think you want to watch her die.” Luis says with a smirk on his face.

“What makes you think that I would let you kill either of us?”

Luis and the whole room erupt in laughter. “What are you going to do?”
