CHAPTER ELEVEN

FEW days had passed since Joshua found out about Kylie's true gender. He just wondered why she still continued to disguise as Kyle Legazpi even though she was already discovered.

"Don't you have any plans to go back to being a woman?" Joshua whispered to Kylie when he saw her ironing her butler suit. "Wait, don't even dare to say that you do not like men as you are interested with women. I will not buy that excuse anymore!"

"Wait did you assume that I am not a real lady?" Kylie asked the young man in a pissed tone. "Can't I just be more used to wearing this because it's more comfortable for me?"

"That is not the case, but..."

".... What?" Kylie asked again.

"I haven't seen your transformation as a woman yet. I mean, I need to see your true self." Joshua replied.

"Isn't it enough that you've seen me as a woman lately. Let me remind you that you even touched me while I was asleep." Kylie said in a stern tone.

"That's a different thing." Joshua's immediate defense. "I only pinched them. I did not cupped them for a long time."

"It's still the same in my eyes." Kylie's blocker. "I still counted it as violation."

"Look, I'm sorry if I violated you." Joshua said in a sincere tone "I did it because I had to check if what I was seeing at that time was true or not."

"Good thing you didn't think to take advantage of me." Said Kylie.

"I am good at controlling my own libido." Said Joshua. "That's why I didn't confront you."

"But you still robbed me of my own breath." Kylie said sarcastically. "You did not even want to separate your lips from mine."

"That is because you are a tease." Joshua said. "But I am loving it."

Kylie just answered that statement with a strong kick to the young man's knee, "Pervert! You're not officially my boyfriend like that yet, but you act like one."

"Oh ..."

Unbeknownst to the young couple, someone was eavesdropping at their whole conversation. Don Emilio couldn't help but widen his smile as he listened to them.

"It seems like I'll see my grandson soon." The smiling Don Emilio said to himself.

"You are still courting me, please remember that. Do not cross my limitations." That's what Don Emilio heard from Kylie. "Take a bath and we still have a schedule to follow"

"I'll take a bath if you bathe me." Joshua said to the girl.

"Ah that? All right, I'll bathe you." Kylie replied as Joshua's face lit up.

Joshua just turned pale the next time Kylie told him, "I'll bathe you in your own blood."

"Ahehehe. Don't." Joshua said quickly. "I can take a bath by myself."

Kylie smiled wickedly at the fear in Joshua's eyes. She even approached the young man to scare him even more.

"It's good that you know the consequences." Kylie said to the young man. "All right, take a bath and I'll be out."

Kylie couldn't wait for the young man to answer her. She immediately turned around to leave the young man's room. She just breathed a sigh of relief when the young man disappeared from her sight. She felt her chest explode at the teasing Joshua was giving her. She was just surprised when she saw Don Emilio. A huge smile was immediately visible on his face. Kylie felt so nervous as she could not understand the meaning of that smile.

"Follow me to my office. Now." Don Emilio ordered Joshua's butler.

Even before Kylie could answer a 'Yes, Master' the older Carriedo turned his back. She immediately followed the old man and did not ask any more questions.

"I heard that my son is courting you." Don Emilio started as soon as they both entered the office. "So how is it? Will he pass on to you as his boyfriend or not?"

"Master ...."

"Well, you can say 'no' if he really has no hope in you." Said Don Emilio. "That's better than allowing him to expect something out of nothing."

Kylie just took a deep breath before she even spoke, "Before I answer your question, I have something to tell you."

"You don't have to confess to me anymore, Kylie." Don Emilio said that the girl's face turned pale. "I already know the truth about your personality."

A poor 'huh ?!' came out of Kylie's mouth at that time. She could not understand why the old man already knew her real name as a woman.

"I knew right away your true gender once you picked up Joshua at the bar." Don Emilio said calmly.

"Huh ?! I don't have ..."

"You forgot that you were acting as a male that night so you didn't notice a minor detail that didn't escape my sight." Don Emilio said to the girl.

"What do you mean?" Kylie asked immediately.

"What I mean is, you used your true voice in a sleepy state so I easily knew you were a woman." Said Don Emilio. "I may not be an assassin but I know how to separate the character of a woman and a man."

"I see. My negligence was the reason you discovered me." Said Kylie. "But why aren't you angry with that fact?"

"Because it is too childish in my own opinion." Said Don Emilio. "As long as my son accepts you you will hear no objection from me."

Kylie's forehead furrowed at what she heard, "Aren't you against it?"

"And why would I bother you two if I knew in myself that my wife was also an assassin before." Don Emilio said calmly. "I mean, she was like you before we even met."

"You mean ---"

"Jean was sent to kill me but love found its way inside our hearts so she abandoned her true identity then and she joined me." Said Don Emilio. "And the same thing happened to Joshua. He fell for you who was also an assassin."

"But he didn't know I was an assassin." Kylie replied. "And right now I'm just waiting for a call from a client to do the ---"

Don Emilio immediately cut off the rest of the girl's words, "I already deleted your website. I hacked it with the help follof an IT expert so they can't contact you anymore." Said Don Emilio. "I myself killed your personality as an assassin. I groomed you as my son's butler."

A poor 'Why?' only escaped Kylie's lips at that time. She felt half of her brain shut down at what the don had said to her.

"Don't get me wrong, Hija. I just want to remove you from your dark past. Help you see the light that has also been lost in your life for a long time." Said Don Emilio.

Kylie was left speechless when she heard, "What about Joshua ?! What if he found out about me being an assassin?"

"No one will know especially and we will both take your secret to the pit." Said Don Emilio. "I'm not going to threaten you to reveal the truth to him in case you reject him now."

Kylie just caressed her nape at that time, "The truth is I'm not sure what I really for him because I think everything is too quick between us. I do not know if I can respond properly to his sincerity."

"It's too fast but if you give my son a kiss. Tsk ... tsk ... tsk." Don Emilio teased the young lady. "Looks like you're going to chase him after giving me a grandchild this Christmas ah!"

Kylie just blushed at what she heard, "It's not like that! Your son just loves to kiss me out of nowhere!" Kylie said in a defending tone.

"Tell that to the marines, Young Lady. The evidence is obvious on your lips."

"Master!"

Don Emilio just laughed when he saw the reaction of the girl in front of him. Seriously, he did not even care what the girl's past was. The only thing that mattered to him was that she came at the right time to correct his son's ways.

"If you're still confused now, you can leave." Said Don Emilio. "Don't be offended. I am just preserving you especially and when Joshua loses control he might get you pregnant prematurely."

"I already know him. He won't do something that will violate me as a person" Kylie replied. "He is also of having afraid a broken bone."

"Even if that is the case, I must separate you for a while. My son is still a guy and you're a lady." Said Don Emilio. "I'm only thinking of your welfare, future son."

"Master, if I leave now I'm sure Joshua will just go back to normal and to make matters worse, maybe his jerk will only get worse." Kylie reasoned. "I might kill him when that's the situation."

"Well, if that is the case, then challenge him." Don Emilio challenged the young lady "Let's face it, I still don't know anything about your true gender."

"And what else do you want to happen?" Kylie asked.

"All I want is to see him persevere in courting you, every day." The smiling Don Emilio said. "Physical contact is not needed during the courtship."

"What if he can do my challenge?" Kylie asked.

"Well then, congratulations to both of you. I will personally arrange your wedding as soon as possible."

Kylie's eyes widened at what she heard. She wouldn't really be surprised where Joshua got this weird habit. Joshua inherited it from his father.

"Think carefully about the solution I told you, my future daughter-in-law." Don Emilio said even before Kylie could leave his office.
