Chapter thirty
Chapter thirty
I made sure to go shopping out of town. I wanted to get out because I've been feeling restricted and it was a good time to go outside since I was in a pretty good mood, and it was even better because I spoke to Finley and he explained everything to me.
I was still skeptical about his claims of Drew being a vampire.
I mean, it was a new world and if vampires did exist, I'm sure they would have died out by now. There were conspiracies about all these celebrities, but no one could prove their claims. It was just that, conspiracies.
I drove for two hours until I reached Grove Hill. It was a small town that I didn't think I would ever frequent. I've only been here only twice in four years.
I was not even sure why I decided on the town, but it called to me.
I overlooked that because I was in a good mood, especially since I spoke to Finley and we made up. He was such a good friend.
When I reached their small shopping center, I went to the clothing shops and headed for the knitwear.
I looked around, settling for a beige knitted jersey. It was starting to get cold, and I was glad I was going to start my winter clothing shopping early.
I paid for the three knitted jerseys I got. Then I went to another shop that sold colognes. I bought my usual, then went to the food court.
I placed an order for a Greek salad because I've been trying to watch what I ate.
I was in a good mood because I sorted things out with Finley, who was a good friend of mine that Drew had threatened to stay away from me. It was a bit silly, honestly. Was Drew jealous? Or maybe it was because we were getting too involved in trying to prove that he was a vampire?
When my salad arrived, I quickly ate it, then ordered another salad to go. The taste was a bit awful, but I loved Greek salad.
I was in a good mood because I slept well last night. I fixed things with Finley and we made up. He said Drew, my husband, was a vampire and I should stay away from him.
No. He didn't say that. He said we will do our own research to find out if he was really a vampire. He said we will go to our house together so that he can dig around.
I was in a good mood because I was out of town.
I also loved beef. I loved it rare just to get that bloody taste. The best part was the blood even though it didn't taste as good as...
The day was just so good because I was in a good mood.
No, I didn't love steak, at all. Where were all these thoughts coming from?
It's a good day because I'm in a good mood.
Let me just get my salad and go meet Marianne, who I met last night at the bar.
I was having a good day because I spoke with Finley and we made up.
Last night I ran into Marianne and she said we will meet out of town. I should probably go to her.
I was in a good mood because I met Marianne yesterday and I should go to her now.
But I should probably get that rare steak and eat it since I love it so much.
I was in a good mood today because I called my lawyer and he was excited to go ahead with the proceedings.
I stood up, my mind a bit heavy. I've been thinking a lot of nonsense. I think it was the salad I ate making me think funny things. It was probably the the steak I ate too.
But I didn't eat any steak. I was in a pretty good mood because I was alive and happy.
I was happy.
I didn't feel happy, but I thought I felt happy. It was confusing to be honest. It was like someone was messing with my brain to get a laugh.
I needed to get to Marianne because she was waiting for me at the parking lot inside my car. She's very impatient because she has got something to tell me and it's important.
I was in a good because I was meeting Marianne and she was waiting for me.
I didn't feel alright, but I should probably go to her because she's the most important person right now.
I think I'm going to be sick because I was just in a good mood.
You're a very difficult person to control, Leon Harimot. Just get to your car.
I was in a good mood because I was alive-
Just get to the damn car, please. You can't keep getting sidetracked.
I stood up, already feeling my body so heavy. All these thoughts were making me physically tired.
I took my salad and left the food court and got to my car. I found Marianne in the passenger seat, pissed.
How did she get in my car? Well, I guess it didn't matter because she was pissed.
I opened the door and got in, then started driving.
Marianne didn't say anything, but I could feel her anger through my thoughts. She was glaring at me right now, but how could I tell when I was focused on driving.
It didn't matter because I was in a good mood because it was a good day and I was in the car with a stranger who I didn't know and I was driving to some place I also didn't know.
I was also having thoughts that were not mine but I wasn't going to complain because I was in a good mood and I was-
"Please stop! Stop with the I'm in a good mood today!"
Marianne yelled at me because I was in a good mood. It didn't matter because I was in a good mood.
I think I slept on the wheel. Maybe Marianne screamed or we fell into a ditch. I didn't know because I was very much in a good mood.
