Chapter 82
“I can’t wait to get back to the city. I love the hideaway but I have been missing our normal life.” Sonya says as the group drives back to the city.
“I’m so glad we were able to get the land contracts buttoned up before we left. It will be a great thing to have Red Moon and Supermoon as one pack with the combined lands south of the city. Maybe we can build a new pack house right in the middle of the property.” Jake says as he pulls Sonya tighter into his side.
“That’s a great idea. Have a ‘leader’ house maybe where it’s just our family.”
“Oh, I like that idea.” Sadie beams.
“I’ll get the architect working on plans for that.” Jim adds with a smile.
“Just make sure we all have soundproof rooms. We don’t need our kids hearing the Alpha screaming all the time.” Greg says with a chuckle.
“Fuck off Beta. It’s not like you are quiet either. Besides who the hell would be quiet with a woman like this doing the things she does.”
Sonya blushes as she smiles up at Jake. “Please stop. You are embarrassing me.”
“There is nothing to be embarrassed about Luna.” Jim says. “You should take pride in the fact that you can get us all to scream so loud.”
Jim’s statement does nothing but make her embarrassment climb and her face turn redder.
They all laugh and continue talking until they arrive back at the office building.
The group makes their way back up to the apartment. They unpack and settle in a little before supper.
“What do you all want for supper?” Sonya asks.
“Baby you don’t need to cook.”
“But I want to. You can help me though if you want.”
“Tacos?” Greg asks.
“On it. Baby can you get the steak out of the fridge? Jim, go light the grill please.”
“Yes, Luna.” They both say with a chuckle.
Sonya seasons the beef and starts chopping the veggies for the tacos. “The meat can go on the grill now. It just needs seared please.” Jake nods and kisses her temple before he heads up to the grill.
Sonya has everything setting out on the island when Jim and Jake come back with the meat. She quickly cuts it up and says “It’s ready. Come and eat.”
“Thank you Luna. This is so good.” Claire says with a smile.
They all eat and laugh around the dinner table. After dinner everyone calls it a night as they are going back to their normal work schedules the next day.
“It feels so good to be in our own bed again.” Jake says as he pulls Sonya into his chest. “Good night baby.”
“Good night my love.”
Everyone is asleep super early and sleeps soundly for the first time in weeks.
Sonya’s alarm goes off at 4am like normal. Everyone gets up and heads to the gym for their normal workout. They spend 2 hours in the gym before everyone heads back to the apartment to get ready for their work day.
Claire has breakfast ready when Sonya comes out for work.
“Damn Luna. First day back and going to make an impression.” Sadie says with a mischievous smile and a wink.
“I haven’t been in the office in so long I need to make people respect me now.” Sonya says with a hip pop and her hand on her hip. She is wearing a black, mid-thigh pencil skirt and a button down, flowy, white short-sleeve blouse. She has on her black four-inch stilettos.
Jake just stares and can’t say anything. He walks up to her and goes behind her pulling her back by her hips into his erection. “You look beautiful today love. I will be bending you over my desk today for being naughty.”
“Oh no, please Alpha.” Sonya says with a smirk.
Jake smirks and lightly smacks her ass cheek. “We need to get going before I don’t let you walk out of this house.”
Everyone laughs but grabs their stuff to go to work. Greg, Jim, Jake, and Sonya go to the elevator after bidding Sadie and Claire a good day.
“We will probably come up for lunch babe.” Jim calls out as he closes the door.
Jake holds Sonya’s hand in the elevator but can’t quit looking at her. “I can’t keep my eyes off of you love.”
“That’s the point Alpha. I think we should go to the main floor and meet with the new receptionist and then work our way back up to our floor. What do you all think?”
“That’s a great idea Luna.” Greg says. They all agree and head to the main floor.
They exit but follow behind Sonya. Jake is directly behind her just off to the right so people can see them both but also to let people know that they need to respect Sonya as well.
As they walk to the receptionist desk, everyone greets them good morning and bows their heads. A few people Jake stops to shake their hands and introduces Sonya to them. He tells a few that there will be a meeting this morning that he wishes them to attend.
Once they reach the receptionist desk, Sonya walks up to the side of the desk and waits for the two women to get done with the customers they are helping. She notices that they were both very professional and courteous.
“Good morning ladies. I just wanted to come by and introduce myself. I am Luna Sonya. And if there is anything you need ever, please don’t hesitate to ask me. Okay?”
Sonya shakes both their hands and they nod.
“What are your names? I want to know everyone that works for us.”
They both look at each other in surprise before they smile.
“My name is Rachel Smith, Luna. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Alpha, sir. Beta. Gamma.”
“And I am Heather Gonzalez, Luna. It’s an honor to meet you. Alpha. Beta. Gamma. It’s a pleasure to meet you all.”
“I would like to get to know everyone better so we will be having some I’ll call them get togethers so everyone can get to know everyone. We are not your scary bosses. Yes we want to be successful but you contribute to that first as you are the first people that our customers see and talk to. Like I said please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything.”
“Is there anything either of you need now?” Jake asks.
“No, Alpha we are good right now. You have always treated us good.”
“Ladies, you know you don’t have to just say that right?” Sonya says with a chuckle. “I won’t let him get mad but if you are not comfortable talking to him please let me know. You can email me or reach out on my phone. Here’s my cell number.”
They both look at Sonya in awe. They cannot believe they are getting the Luna’s personal cell phone number.
“My only request is that you do not share the number with anyone outside the company or anyone you question their loyalty towards us. Is that understood?”
“Yes, Luna. You have nothing to worry about. We are loyal to you and we will never betray you.”
Sonya looks at them both with a smile on her face. “Good. I would hate to have to do anything unpleasant. We are very loyal and good to those that return the loyalty to us.”
Both women look at each other with a stunned glance.
“Well, we should head up to work now. It was great to meet you both. Don’t forget if you need anything let me know.”
Both women smile and nod their heads then go back to their jobs.
Sonya then walks to the elevators and they continue to greet people. Jake, Greg, and Jake are snickering behind her as she walks away from the front desk.
They ride up in an empty elevator to their floor.
