Chapter 81
Just then 2 nurses come wheeling in a larger bed. They place it beside the bed she is in. Jake helps the nurses pick her up and move her to the new bed while keeping her leg straight.
“Get some rest Luna. I will be back tomorrow morning to check on you. I don’t want any other visitors except your normal immediate circle.”
“Yes, doctor.” Jake says. He shakes both their hands and then walks back to the side of the bed. He takes off his shoes and shirt leaving him in his shorts and snuggles in with Sonya.
“Umm what do you think you are doing?”
“What do you mean?”
“You get into bed with me with barely any clothes on and expect me to be able to keep my hands off of you?”
Jake smirks and says, “Who says you have to keep your hands off? I plan on having my hands on you all night.”
Sonya groans as Jake runs his hand down her body coming to a rest over her pussy.
“Are you sure you are not in too much pain love?”
“I really want you but I am in pain. I’m sorry my love.” Sonya says and then bursts into tears.
“Sonya please look at me.” Jake moves her face to look at him. “My love, I am not with you for the sex only. I know that’s a big part of our relationship but that is not why I am with you. We have our whole lives to keep having amazing sex. Let’s just sleep okay?”
“Are you sure? I want to be able to satisfy you. I can’t lose you to someone else.”
“Baby calm down. I am not going anywhere. You do way more than I expect. I am a VERY satisfied man. I promise my love.” Jake says with an emphasis on the word very.
He kisses her and then pulls her head to rest on his shoulder and he snuggles up to her being careful not to move her leg. “The doc said the bone should be connected back together by morning and then completely healed in a week. Let’s just say no sex for at least a week okay?”
“Really? You would do that?”
“Of course, I would. I would do anything for you.”
“You are amazing Alpha.”
“Not as amazing as you my Luna.” He kisses her and then snuggles back into her.
By the time Jim, Sadie, and Claire come up Jake and Sonya are asleep. The group takes shifts in guarding the room. Jim and Claire take the first watch and Greg and Sadie lay down on the extra bed in the room to sleep. They switch off and on every 3 hours.
Sonya and Jake are awakened by soft voices in the room. Jake sits up in alarm at the unfamiliar voices only to realize it is both of Sonya’s doctors.
“Alpha, I apologize. I hope we didn’t wake you up.”
“No, it’s okay. I don’t like sleeping anyway when we are not at home.”
“That’s understandable. We wanted to talk with you and your Luna today. We met with some specialists and Alpha Scott last night about your pups and we would like to go over our findings.”
“Is everything okay?” Jake asks with a worry laced tone.
“Yes, Alpha everything is fine.”
Jake nods and leans down to whisper in Sonya’s ear. “Baby you need to wake up. The doctors want to talk to us.”
Sonya’s eyes fly open and as she goes to sit up she winces in pain. “Ahh.”
Jake helps her adjust herself so she is not in pain. Dr Swift gives her a pain shot as well.
“Good morning, Luna. I am sorry we woke you up this way but we really wanted to talk to you as soon as possible.” Dr Hayes beams. “We met with 3 specialists and Alpha Scott last night and after talking with Luna Maria as well we are one hundred percent sure you will have a normal pregnancy even though the pups are larger than normal.”
“Wait, how do you know that?” Jake asks.
Both doctors smile at each other but before they can say anything Sonya says, “The moon goddess right?”
“Yes, Luna. Luna Maria says the moon goddess is taking care of the pups and you so we are sure that you can go about your normal life without worry of complications. Luna Maria, assured us that the goddess has vowed to that.”
Sonya looks up at Jake and smiles with tears running down her face.
“Thank you both. Is there anything else?” Jake says.
“Yes just one thing Alpha. Luna Maria told us that the goddess has fixed your leg already Luna so let me just check and you can be on your way.”
Sonya smiles again but cannot get words to come out.
‘Thank you my child. This is one of the many gifts to you. We vow to protect you and your family forever.’
‘I don’t even know what to say goddess.’
‘You don’t have to say anything. Your actions and protection say everything to us. Thank you.’
‘Thank you. It was an honor to serve as your guardian.’
‘It will be our honor to protect you all.’
Sonya looks at Jake and smiles. He pulls her into a tight hug.
Dr Swift comes in with an x-ray machine and checks her leg. He looks at all the x-rays and how Sonya walks, before giving Sonya release with no restrictions.
