Chapter 66 - Eva left Jason

Eva POV:

I packed my luggage. I signed on the documents which transfer his property to his name. I kept gifts given by him on the bed. I left the mobile which was presented by him. I took my old mobile from the cupboard. I took our marriage photo and his photo with me. I know still I love him and I am leaving him only to come back again as his wife. Not to leave him permanently. I took one of his shirts and packed it too along with my dresses. I kept keys, documents and cards on his table.

I took the paper to write a letter to him.

'Dear Jason, I am leaving. I can't kill myself every second living with you. I love you, but it doesn't mean I will sacrifice everything and will bear your torture forever.

Marriage is a sacred bonding according to me. It unites two strangers with just a knot. From that second, they will be together until their last breath, in even and odd times.

But you never allowed me to be with you in hard times. Still, as a wife, I stood beside you in your difficult times. As a wife till now, I gave my love and support to you. I performed every duty of a wife so flawlessly. But you are always ready to leave me and hurt me when any conflict or difficulty arises. You never gave me that confidence where I feel I can share everything with you including my mistakes. I never understand why you never share your worries with me though I know you completely and never judge your actions.

I agree that seeing your wife kissing someone makes you angry. But let me tell you how it happened. I went to Rio as he refused to undergo surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain. There he asked me that he will accept for operation only if I marry him at that moment itself. There I got into an argument with him. I was coming out, but Rio held my hand and pulled me towards him. Unfortunately, my lips touched his lips. It's not a kiss as you thought. I slapped him and revealed about my marriage and came out from there. After that, I didn't receive any calls from his family including Roma.

I can never betray you, Jason. You are my first and last love. Even after all this, I am unable to hate you. I don't know why but still my heart beats only for you. But don't expect me to come back to you. As you said, I too agree that our relationship had ended right now. Now I am just Eva and not Mrs Eva Jason.

I opened the door and found him standing there. Doesn't he go to the office? I looked at him with fear. He saw me and then the luggage bag in my hand.

"Wow! So, finally, you have decided to leave me. Great! Please do it fast" he said giving me the way.

I don't understand his behaviour. I gulped to control my fear. He went inside the room and closed the door behind me with a loud sound. I stood there itself unable to choose anything.

He opened the door again.

"Didn't you leave yet? I hate seeing your face anymore. Because every time I see your face, I remember you kissing that Rio. For God's sake, kindly leave me before I hurt you more," he yelled at me.

"Where should I go?" I asked him with shivering lips.

"To Rio!" he said and shocked me.

"What did you say?" I asked again.

"Go to your love Rio or if you have any other boyfriend go to him. I don't care," he said making me burst into tears again.

"You are the only one whom I hate in my life, Jason. Never show your face to me again. I hate you, "I said and came out of his house.

Where should I go now? I have no parents. I stopped talking to Roma. Where can I go? Whom I have to go? Tears again started appearing as if they were only my companion in my lonely life. I sat on the steps of a house.

I didn't know how long I sat there. Suddenly I felt as if my head was spinning. Maybe I was tired these days. He didn't even allow me to have food or sleep properly. Everything became blank before me. I got fainted.

After some time I came into conscious. I am on a bed. It was a vast room and well furnished. I got up slowly.

"Madam, please take this juice," a lady appeared before me with juice.

"No, I am ok. Can you please give me some water?" I asked.

"But madam, sir ordered me to give you juice as soon as you woke up. Please, take the juice, madam," she said again.

"Who is your sir?"

My heart wants to hear Jason's name.

"Madam, sir will come within half an hour. You, please have this juice and food," she said without revealing his name.

"No, I can't….." I said and just then Roma, and Rio's mom came there.

"Eva, what happened to you?" Roma asked me.

"You fainted on the road, and Rio brought you to home," Roma said.

So it's Rio. Not Jason who brought me here.

"I will go," I said getting up from the bed. But Rio came just then.

"One minute, Eva!" he said stopping me.

"Let me go, Rio. I can't stay here," I said.

Aunty and Roma left from there as he asked them to go.

"Look, Eva, Don't take me wrong. I am not such kind of person who loves a married woman. I respect you and your character. I can guess that I am the reason behind your miserable situation today. I promise you, Eva, definitely I will reunite you with Jason. That's my responsibility. Please trust me," he said "Please Rio; it's my problem. Let me handle it by myself," I said firmly.

"Eva, please understand me. If you leave now, that guilty consciousness of separating you from your husband never leaves me. It kills me every second. Let me correct my mistake which I had done unknowingly," he said.

"Please, Eva, at least for me, you should stay here. Please forgive me. I was the reason for all this. Please let us rectify our mistake," Roma requested me.

"Rio, I will not stay here. If you want to rectify your mistake, teach me the tactics of business. I want to take over my business from my uncle. Help me for that and leave about Jason," I said to Rio.
