Chapter 85: You’re Mine

I was worried sick when she told me she was hurt. After I came to know that Asher did it, my blood was boiling.
How dare he?
I kept it cool in front of Selena. I know she loves him but enough is enough. Yeah, I am gonna talk to him for her sake but he will get only one chance. And if he doesn’t listen, then he will see what I can do.
I won’t kill him, I am not a murderer. But I can make his life hell.
I got up. “So, I will just talk to him”
“No, Nick,” she sighed and touched my hand. “Later, please”
“Oh you want me here?” I raised an eyebrow.
“Do you doubt that?”
I laughed softly and sat beside her. She smiled. “Everything is fine, Nick but I do hope that whoever took Alicia, she is happy with him. I think she is, because she looked happy when he came”
“Hm, right. I will try to reach her”
“Yeah… I will too”
We both smiled sadly. “So much changed, Nick” she said and looked at me. “I never thought Asher would become someone like that”
“I never did too,” I replied. Her eyes moistened.
“Nick, I love you”
“I love you more, my heart”
She smiled. “Once everything settles, we'll marry, okay? We can’t take any risks, I can’t lose you”
“You’ll never lose me. You are my other half, stupid”
“And you are my better half”
I smiled. “We’re both better for each other, and complete each other. This feeling is awesome”
“It sure is,” she smiled. “Now, can I sit down properly?”
“Nope, you are hurt” My voice was a little demanding.
“Ah you change in a second”
“Then don’t say stupid stuff” I smirked at her.
She sighed. “Alright, alright. Then make something for me!”
“Yeah sure”
I got up. “And did I tell you?” I heard her.
I looked at her. “Yeah?”
“Your cake was awesome. Never mind, the burning didn’t ruin it”
“You… you ate?”
“You think I’d miss my boyfriend’s cooking?”
I laughed. “Oh lord”
“You should know I was just being dramatic”
“Ah you shouldn’t be, baby, because” I smirked at her. “Now you are gonna be mine forever and the only food you will ever eat is the one I make”
She looked at me with suspicion. “Oh, so I don’t have to cook?”
“Nah babe”
She laughed. “Go!”
I smiled back and went to the kitchen.
I may be okay because Selena is happy, but surely I am never gonna forgive Asher. He will pay for this.
Not only did he hurt her physically, but his every action had such a big impact on her. I can’t even imagine what Sel must be feeling regarding all the play he put up to marry Alicia.
How does a sister feel when she knows that her brother is a cheater and a fake?
I sighed and took out my phone. I searched for some good recipes and started making something. I made sure to look at Sel in between so that she doesn’t stress herself.
Finally, I made some good dishes and carried them to the living room. I served it.
“Want me to feed you?”
“Sure”
I smiled and started feeding her. She looked so cute and so beautiful. It is like the world stopped. The food wasn’t that good, but she seemed to enjoy it fairly.
I am so lucky to have her.

I went inside my hotel room and sat down. I needed a plan. I needed a good plan to get Alicia back.
She is mine and she will remain mine. I like her scared figure so much, the way she was completely afraid of me.
I liked it all, and I want it back.
I took out my phone. “Do you know where she is?”
“I don’t know, sir. She was last seen with Alisatir at their house”
“Send me his address. I will deal with it”
“Okay, sir”
The call ended and I sat back with a wicked smile on my face. I was gonna win. I will wait. That Alistair can’t do anything.
My phone buzzed as I got the address. I got up and went down to the hotel reception.
I went out of the door and entered my car. I drove to the address given.
You think you can escape, Alicia?
You know I am not that easy to be left behind.
You should have known that when you went home with that bastard. You know that I get what I want.
You know you belong with me.
Maybe he won the fight between me and him.
But will he win it when he is against a lot of people, unarmed and unprepared?
A smirk appeared on my lips.
You are mine, Alicia. Time to show it to everyone.
