Chapter 91 91
Alexandra walked out of the cafeteria, her bag in her hand as she left.
"Oh my God." A gasp escaped from her lips as Liam appeared in front of her.
"Didn't you leave?" She asked as she kept on walking.
"Do you want me to apologize to that guy?" He asked as he followed her pace.
"I did that already." She replied and he sighed.
"I'm sorry, I was just comfortable when you leaned towards hm and he leaned towards you....why would he do that?" He suddenly shot, his emotion changing faster than current.
Alexa halted to a stop and he unconsciously did too, "Weren't you sorry just now?" She cocked her head, turning to him.
"I still am."
"But you are jealous." She said.
"I guess you can say both." He nodded his head.
"And you are angry." She continued and he sighed,
"Humans are a rollercoaster of emotions. Different things passes through our body at each times. Don't tell me you think I would smile at that guy?" He raised his hand as did his voice.
"Then why are you shouting?" She glared at him.
"What the fvck, Alexa! I'm not shouting. I'm so calm right now."
"Look around you." She said and he turned, seeing everyone staring at him. Some had even started taking pictures of him. He skillfully leaned closer to her,
"Why don't I take you home?" He asked.
"I came with my car. Adios!" She raised her hand and walked away quickly, leaving him standing there alone.
"Alex....and...ra." He muttered, sighing slowly as he licked his lips.
WORLD RUNWAY FASHION DAY!!!!
"I told you to come here early." Alexa hit Blue's arm lightly as he walked into the dressing room where the models lay.
"I'm really sorry. I got caught in some things." He apologized.
"Huh?" Alexandra turned to Doreen, "Is this guy becoming a CEO of his own too quickly?" She said and pointed at him, "Don't leave me that quick. I'll be jealous." She said, he laughed.
"I don't plan on leaving even when I'm done. I'll work with you for practically the rest of my life." He said and Alexa blinked.
"Don't do that. Have big dreams." She said.
He smiled. She was like a big sister to him, Alexandra and he respected her so much for that.
"It's time. We got this." Doreen said and placed her palm on the air.
"What the hell?" Alexa said and smiled gleefully as she placed her hand on Doreen's. All the other workers placed theirs and they raised in up, shouting excitedly.
Liam chuckled as he watched them laugh happily. Alexandra clapped her hands loudly.
"Now listen to me. " She called the attention of everyone and Liam folded his hands, staring right at her.
"It's our goal to win but more importantly, we are here for fashion. We should let the fashion itself sink in their minds, captivate them. Let them know that fashion is all it takes for your beauty to shine. If we win, good. If we don't, we get stronger. Do your best!" She said and they all gave her a round of applause.
Liam got lost staring at her. She'd grown, over the years. The Alexandra before would not talk to a crowd, she would hide and cower. The Alexandra before was not so bold, she was shy. The Alexandra he knew was no longer there. Instead, she had become a happier, stronger version of herself.
"Why are you staring at me, Mr Jordans?" She said, breaking him out of his long gaze. He hadn't realized she had been in front of him already.
"I just..... thought about how beautiful you were. How strong. And how much I don't deserve you. You are just too special." He said and she bit her lips, trying to hide her smile.
"I guess. Well," She shrugged and turned to leave but he suddenly pulled her by the hand, back to himself and placed a kiss on her forehead, making her face turn beet red.
"Thank you for choosing me, Alexandra. Thank you." He said and she smiled, punching him lightly.
"Get a hold of yourself. Don't be too forward!" She said as he let go of her and she walked away immediately, leaving the room.
"One of the heels are broken." Doreen suddenly reported to her as she came out.
Alexandra blew out a breeze, "Where are the extra pairs?" She asked.
"I can't find them. I think Gazette forgot to pick them up."
"What's going on?" Liam came out.
"One of the models heels are broken, we need a change." Alexandra said.
"Isn't there a change -"
"You guys forgot to bring a change. It should have been double crossed before we arrive here. How are we going to do the show now?" She snapped.
"I-"
"Can she wear mine?" Alexandra asked before Liam could even speak.
"She is a different size even from mine." Doreen replied and Alexandra sighed.
"I'll do it."
"Alexa, I can quickly get some-"
"It's all your fault. I know you are busy with other things and all that but you should have sent someone to crosscheck. This is a world competition for that matter, Liam." She said and walked away , going to pick up a different dress.
"There's one more canvas. It should be in her size. She should change to the joggers while j take the dress." Alexa said to Doreen.
"Alright." Doreen said and quickly went to speak to the other model while Alexa quickly and calmly put the dress. It was the highlight of the fashion, reserved for the last among the models and now she was putting it on.
She took a deep breath as she waited for Doreen to call her out when it was time.
Hearing the door open, Alexandra turned to see Liam standing right there, his back rested on the side.
"You look breathtaking." He muttered, taking her in.
"Don't use that to cover up your mistakes."
"No one is perfect. Even one of the highest business men makes mistakes sometimes."
"This is an important show." Alexa said.
"I know. I know how important it is, and I'm sorry, for not paying extra attention to all those points." He said. Alexa sighed, gulping slowly as she ran a hand over the dress in the mirror.
"I think it could only look this perfect on you." He said and she smiled.
"I believe you think wrong." She said.
"It's time." Doreen said and Alexa nodded as she walked towards the door. Liam blocked her way.
"You are beautiful and strong. No one can compare to you." Those words.
She smiled.
