“It's just to help the dignity of Velvet Vixen. As the second highest shareholder, I would stand up and save the company.”
Liam gritted his teeth hardly as he hit his hand on the glass table in his office, gripping it tight till his knuckles bled.
Ryder was an idiot motherfvcker. How could he do this to Alexandra? A shareholder? When did that start? How would Alexa feel after watching this? She was loosing everything. It was so meticulously planned,….Liam gasped lightly, “It was you, Ryder. You and Stella”
Had they always worked together? Or had it been recently? Would anyone have known about that? He needed to get to Alexa as soon as possible. When all of her things were crumbling he knew how easy she could be. She might cry if she sees the news.
He walked downstairs and into the parking lot. At that time, a car stopped at his front and Stella came out, flaunting her hair and her dress. She seemed to be superly excited but it won't be for long. Not until he crushed her and her family's livelihood.
“Don't tell me you are going to see Alexa?” She frowned.
“You can bet your whole life on it and you won't lose a dime.” He said sarcastically making her frown more.
“Isn't it obvious to see that she is a lost cause. For crying out loud, Liam, this woman has nothing any longer-” His hands wrapped around her throat in less than a minute and the sudden gasp made her word flow come short.

“I've been letting you mess around foolishly, Stella but seriously, you have been getting on my mess. Now, you would go back and tell the fool who joined you in fvcking Alexandra over. Tell him to get off that high horse he is on if he is really sure he wants to survive. Helix and Co.? It was just a sham as he was trying to get into Velvet Vixen.”
“Thank God you are smart. In an hour of assuming his position, Velvet Vixen would be signed under Helix and Co. Can you save the girl you love in just an hour?” She smirked widely.
“Nice try, Stella. Maybe I can't…. maybe I can, but what I most certainly can do if I fail to do that is bring you down. And I would stop at nothing until you can't rise up again.” He let got of her neck roughly making her stagger backwards and cough out some few curses.
Liam didn't bother to listen, he hopped into his car and drove towards her in annoyance and the bliss that filled him when she flew out of the way in shock couldn't be explained.
Stella landed on the floor with her btt flat and she groaned hardly, the pain shooting straight from her @ss.
Alexandra bit her lips slowly, her eyes glassy as she let out a breath from her mouth simultaneously.
She got up and tightened her grips on the iron bars when Liam got closer to her. Her hands were shaking, her knuckles were stretched white as she held the iron tight. Her eyes glanced in between his, tears ready to drop at any moment.

“Don't worry.” She let out a breath, licking her lips.”I'm fine. Just get me out of here.” She said.
Liam nodded slowly as he picked his phone, “Where are you, Eugene?” He asked.
Ever since he heard about the arrest, he had sent Eugene to find evidence and the guy had just reported about it before Liam walked downstairs. Thank God, Stella hadn't noticed.
“Eugene would soon be here. He as everything ready. In less than thirty minutes, you'd be out.” He said and she nodded slowly, blinking her eyes. She wanted to cry, he knew but she definitely didn't want to do it in front of him.
He knew she was judging herself, judging herself for always choosing the wrong people to love. Him, Ryder. But she didn't know was…he was different from Ryder Welland. He was Liam Jordans, a guy who would love her till wrinkles appeared on her face and more.
She turned her back to him, slipping down the bars till she got to the floor and Liam did the same, slipping down to, his back to hers.
Soon enough, he heard her small sobs. She loved it, Velvet Vixen. It was what made her get over the fact that she was broken, it was what strengthened her, was she simply going to lose it all because of lack.of discernment? It was all stupid and foolish. She was.
And Liam needed to get that thought out of her head.
“I received a letter.” He suddenly muttered. She still kept on sobbing but he knew she was listening to him.
“Was it your 24th birthday?” He asked himself, “Yeah.” He smiled.
“I knew we hadn't spoke to each other yet that morning. I mean, I knew you weren't even awake yet, so I decided to make breakfast for you. I even got you a necklace but that was the day Stella came back.” He muttered and her sobs stopped. She was interested in the story now.
“I don't even remember what happened to the goods that day. I was so shocked because I never expected to see her. However, the secret that we were married was no longer secret that day cos I made it known to her, I have a wife.” He said and she turned her a head just a little. She wasn't seeing him but she was totally aware of where he was.
“I received threats, Alexandra. Every day.” His voice hardened and she blinked.
“You what?” She asked.
“Pictures of your mum, the school you attended, where you always went to, that was why I asked you to stop going out and always stay indoor. I should have told you simply -”
“What are you telling me, Liam?”
“They knew everything about you and they said that they would kill you. The only way to protect you is if I agreed to divorce.” He said and she blinked in shock, her body unable to get over the words which he said to her. Her head spun, her eyes blurry. She couldn't see, she couldn't feel.
“Alexandra…the fvck-Open this thing!” Liam shot just as she went into unconsciousness.
