Chapter 1
Chapter 1
Andrew POV
"The party is going to be lit, bro this time there will be naked chicks everywhere," Jake rambled constantly about the part he was hosting this summer, the summer before high school senior year is kind of a big deal, and Jake is taking it to the next level.
He has always been an animal when it comes to parties, last year he threw a party so big that cops showed up before he attempted to jump off the roof into the pool.
I knew it was a coping mechanism of his to overcome the gruesome training we had to go through before entering a new school year.
Our fathers were crazy when it comes to the family legacy, it was an honor to carry on the family name, Torricille. The most respected and deadly mafia family in the country.
The Endless life endangering attacks have toughened me enough to never trust anyone anymore.
"Sure, dude whatever you say," I said before opening my locker, as the captain and co-captain of the football team we were asked to practice even during the summer break, there were only a couple of days left to break to end.
"You don't get it, Nacked. Chicks. Everywhere," he paused after every work as if it would have a different impact or a meaning.
I stare at him not reacting to his regular nonsense, then closed the locker in his face, "I got it the first time,"
He chuckles behind me when I leave him waking away towards the football field, where all the players were waiting for us, the coach was blowing the whistle on a new kid that had turned red from exhaustion.
"Jake my star quarterback, show these losers what a real player looks like," Coach praised me.
I know quite confusing when Jake and I were fourteen we decided to switch identities, so when in school I'm Jake and He is Andrew.
I don't reply to him with words but nod at him, I don't speak much, and it's not necessary to always answer with words.
The training lasted a good couple of hours by the time the training was over everyone was exhausted especially the new junior, he lay on the green grass panting heavily. He looked dead with how pale his face was.
"See you at the party everyone," Jake yelled at the team before jumping in the shower. Everyone was excited about the legendary party Jake tends to host every year.
He knew how to handle a huge crowd of horney teenagers. Since he is one of them
We walked to the parking lot to my Audi, and I see the girl waiting, leaning next to my car, she was beautiful.
Long dark hair, a tall lean body, fair skin, a long nose, and perfect pink full lips, the pair of glasses hanging on her face magnified her beauty.
Jake noticed my sudden change of stance and looked at where I was watching, I looked at him when I didn't hear him ramble about this part, again.
The shit-eating grin on his face had me realize that he was going to do something embarrassing, for me.
"Don't," my warning fell on deaf ears because I found myself rushing behind him as he speed walked towards her.
Walking closer to her was an amazing idea because I got to see her eyes. They were green... My favorite color.
"Hey there," Jake announced before standing next to her.
"What is a pretty girl like you doing in a place like this?" he smirked at her, I rolled my eyes at him, and here he goes again.
She smiled politely, "I'm waiting for him," she pointed at someone behind us, it was the new junior.
"You know the Junior?" he asked not remembering his name.
"Yeah, he is my little brother," she answered back
"Sweet, I'm Andrew by the way and this is Jake," he introduced us with our swapped names.
"Oh, your Andrew Torricelli? " she asked her smile widening, " Leo talks about you all the time,"
Jake smirked at me when she was so happy to meet him. I scowled at him for being an ass for doing this.
"Awesome, so I'm having this huge pool party at my place, Leo knows where it is why don't you join us? It will be a lot of fun," he invites her, and she looks down a little thinking it over.
"I don't know," she looks at her brother and the pleading look he was throwing at her was quite funny. "Sure, sounds fun," she gives in for the sake of her brother.
I don't say anything during the entire conversation.
"Great, see you tonight," he said before we got into my car, I shove him as soon as her car left.
"Ouch, what was that for," he whines like a little bitch.
"You know," I said before driving out of the parking lot towards our parent's house.
We mostly lived with our parents for hours but when people from school were invited we stayed at a different place, which my father bought a few years back, that place was where I felt normal. The house was not a fortress, there were no guns or guards in sight.
Just a few teenagers leading a teenage life
"She is pretty," he comments
I hit him in the gut, "For you, seriously dude, I did you a favor if it was you, you would have never talked to her, and now because of yours truly," he bows " you finally get a chance to talk to a real person.
I roll my eyes at him before parking in the garage and getting out.
Jake kept taking behind me while I walked ahead, my body straightened the moment my eyes fell on my father, he was sitting on the recliner holding a glass of whisky in his hand, he was on a call with someone.
"Good afternoon Father," "Goor Afternoon Sir," we greeted him.
He nodded at us and with a flick of his wrist, we were dismissed.
My father was not a cold-hearted bastard. We were similar in behavior, he was not a fan of talking when not necessary.
He is a great Father, and being a single parent is a huge responsibility he does everything he can to be there for me.
I respect him for not giving up or giving me away when my mom died. According to Jake's father, my dad used to smile wholeheartedly when mom was around, I wish I knew her. I know I would have loved her a lot.
"Let's get drunk tonight," Jake was hyped up for the party, and somewhere deep down so was I.
I will talk to her tonight.
