Another Story

I could not get the words to put my head, the assassin? Really?

Being the impatient person I am, I dismissed the work for work early for the day and leave for home.

I park my car in the garage and walk to the front door, the maids in the house welcome me while taking my bag and keys, I greet everyone on my way and smile while walking around the house into the home office Massimo had set up for an emergency.

He mostly worked here while discussing the 'Mob' business, he does not allow me to go in but today I could not wait for him to be done, the jitters I felt in my bone were calling for an adventure.

I have always loved stories about other people, my father always had stories to tell us when he returned from war, this was the reason I could easily adapt to Massimo's lifestyle.

I sighed before knocking on the door " Hey, it's me," there was silence before a husky "Come in"

I pushed open the door and only find Peter sitting on the couch holding a file, Massimo was on this chair by the table, he raised his eyebrow waiting for me to express myself for disturbing his work hours.

I walk towards him and push his chair away from the table and sit on his lap, he lets me do as I please and just keeps watching me.

I kissed his cheek and smile innocently "I heard something about your parents today," as soon as the word leave my mouth the sound of someone standing up was heard.

I watched Massimo give a little stingy eye to the man standing by the couch looking like a deer caught in the headlight.

"Time for me to go, bye," he said before dashing out of the room, Massimo chuckled at his best friend and then pulled me tighter against his warm hard body.

"What is it that you want to know? sweetheart," he asked

I lean onto him and hum, "Everything, how they met? What were they like? Do you take after your father or mother?" I asked "things like that"

He hums before adjusting me on his lap, "I'm sure Peter said something about them, tell me what he said and I can start from there,"

I smiled at him mischievously "He said your father was a mafia heir and your mom was an assassin sent to kill him," he groans hitting his head on the back of the chair.

"Let's start from the beginning of the story," he kissed my lips, and then his soothing deep voice got me into a trance

Third person's POV

Being the only child of the most dangerous organization was never a piece of cake, this gets tumbled, twisted, and sometimes even gets bloody.

Andrew knew what he had to do to survive, it was not easy being the person he was meant to be, he was literally, craved into the being his father wanted him to be.

The most feared mafia boss, he was only twelve-year-old when he first hit a man bloody, he was not a killer, but he could hurt people. He could hurt people to an extent that death would be a blessing to those people well scratch that those people were monsters, they were cheats, thieves, and murderers.

They deserved what there were getting from the true source.

But as a teenager, he too had to go to the place people his age go to learn and grow, which was not true, schools were never really placed where one can learn and grow, it was just a place where people pretend they had everything in control.

He too had to pretend he was a perfect student, a normal one at that, but because of his father's reputation it was not easy and so he did something he had to do.

He came up with a plan at that time that he should switch places with his childhood friend and take his name and identity which he gladly accepted.

Jake was happy to help his best friend in his time of need, he did not come from a mafia background he was the only person who was close to normal.

Jake and Andrew were two opposite sides of a coin, they had nothing in common and they had different ways to deal with things.

Jake is a friendly boy who is used to talking to people to sort things out and Andrew does not use his words, he was more of an action kind of guy.

In short, Jake was Peter to Massimo's Andrew.

Things were good for a while but as they say, 'not all waves are calm,' there was a day when Andrew felt would be different, life would change for young teenagers, and they will face things they were not ready for.

Things beyond their training, that thing was Love.

Love at first fight
