The only sound in the room was breathing. Giselle sat there holding her breath and waited for a few minutes, but no one called back. In the end, she gritted her teeth and shut her eyes pulling the quilt over her head as she lay down.
Giselle did not know if it was a loss or something, but she did not feel sleepy for a long while. She turned off the light hoping to sleep a little, but she did not manage to fall asleep for a long time.
Her hearing became sharper than ever as she heard the security gate of the community opening and closing clearly ‘Bastard!’ She scolded Colton several times in her heart, she pulled Zana into her arms, closed her eyes and forced herself to sleep.

Giselle did not know when she finally fell asleep. When she got up early the next morning, Annalise looked at her for a few seconds, “What’s wrong with you? Did you not sleep well last night? Did Zana wake up at night?”
Giselle scratched her hair without much energy, and shook her head, “She did not wake up, I slept well…”
If it were not for the last call of the bastard, she would have definitely managed to sleep well. He just hit and did not talk for a long time, so that she woke up all night and woke up from sleep, leaving her with his face in her mind.

After eating breakfast, Giselle kept a cold spoon on her eyes trying to ease the puffiness and the burning in her eyes, and put on a light makeup to make her complexion look a little better.
After checking the time, she called Tanner Knight “Hey, Tanner, are you here to pick Zana?”
Tanner Knight said guiltily on the phone “Giselle, I am so sorry, I did not have time to tell you, I received an urgent call last night, and I had to fly out of New York and I will be back in the afternoon. However, I have already notified the new nanny. She should be coming by anytime now so you can give Zana to her.”
Giselle was a little surprised, “Nanny? When did you employ a nanny?” She remembered that he had said before that several nannies he invited were chased away by Zana, and he mentioned that he is afraid of employing a nanny which is why he was bringing Zana with him, so when did he get hold of a nanny?
“She is someone who has worked for us for a long time now. She stopped working when her daughter finished her studies and started working, she was also the one who took care of me when I was little.” Tanner sighed.
Before Giselle spoke, Annalise frowned when she overheard Tanner, “That’s not okay, since I have already resigned and staying at home why to trouble her? If you don’t have time, I can help you take care of Zana. Anyway, I am idle at home.”
Looking at Zana’s pouty little face, Giselle also felt a little pang of sadness, “Don’t worry, let my mother take care of Zana. You come to pick her up once you are back from your business trip, so you don’t have to bother your nanny.”
Tanner Knight was silent for a while, then hesitated “Will it not be troublesome for you? Zana can’t speak her emptions, it’s hard to take care of her.”
Giselle also suddenly remembered that Zana had autism, and it would be difficult for others to understand her without speaking. She was afraid that Annalise would not be able to take care of her alone.

Annalise looked at her with a bit of worry, “If you take a child with you, wont your boss say anything?”
Putting on the child’s coat, Giselle said lightly “I will explain to them later, otherwise I will be worrying in office about leaving you with her alone.”
“But…” Annalise glanced at Giselle’s belly “You need to be careful.” With her pregnancy, it was equivalent to taking her three children along with her, if she falls or if something were to happen to her, she will be scared to death.
Giselle was startled, touched her belly, raised her head and smiled happily at her, “Don’t worry mother, I will pay attention.”

In JS Technologies, a company colleague watched her come in with a delicate child, her eyes widened in surprise.
“Manager Giselle, this, is this your little girl?”
“What a cute child! Can I come and give her a hug?”
“Manager Smith, you didn’t tell us that you are married!”

Moreover, she is my friend’s child. He had to go for a business trip today. I will take care of her for a while.”

Amusedly, she waved her hand, gave a few orders, and she took Zana to her office. After working for a while, President Han approached her through the internal phone.
Giselle looked at Zana, who was quietly sitting on the sofa in the distance, got up and walked over, crouched down to look at her, and asked softly, “Auntie is going out. Do you want to play here or come with aunt?”
