Armani POV

Xhani said she didn’t want to be with me, and for a second, I knew she was making the right decision for herself, but I had to be selfish and get her back.

She ran upstairs like she had seen a ghost, leaving me shattered behind her, but I refused to go. I will try again tomorrow the day after tomorrow and the one after that until she comes back to me.

I put her down on her bed and pulled the covers over her body, I was about to wake away when my steps halted in his position, I turned around to follow Xhani’s hands, holding my shirt tightly.

Smiling I said, “You want to leave me, yet you are holding me tightly”, I said as I gently placed myself beside her on the bed.

She must’ve felt my presence because she pulled me closer and put her head on my chest.

I stayed up for another couple minutes before I closed my eyes, listening to her heartbeat, I fell asleep.

In the morning I woke up to a bright light shining on my face, I rubbed my eyes, adjusted to the light, and gently opened my eyes. I looked to the side, and Xhani was still sleeping on my chest.

I smile at her as I see her sleep so peacefully.
