CHAPTER 25: CALL

I was waiting for Liam in our house because he left the office this morning. I ask him where is he going but it seems he heard nothing and went out.

“ Liam,” I said. He looks at me but there’s something wrong with him. He looks furious.

“ where did you go?” I ask

“ Why? Who are you to ask me that?” I felt scared that time.

“ I am asking you because you just left your office, and you know that you have a meeting to attend” he grabs my hand so tight.

“ I am the CEO so I can do what I want and you are there so do your job.” After he said that, he pushed me and I hit my waist on the table.

“ Next time don’t you dare confront me for what I’m doing” he left. I was scared and my waist hurts.

“ Young Lady” it Mr. Ronald, he helps me stand up

“ Young Lady you were hit badly, do you want to go to the hospital,” he asks but I said no.

“ I am okay, I’ll go to our room to take a rest,” I said and went up.

“ Mr. Ronald” I remembered something so I called him.

“ don’t tell Don Ricardo about what this” I left him and went to the other room.

I was laying on the bed thinking about what happened today. Liam was good this morning but why did he change suddenly when he got home. I knew it he just pretended that he is back because dad died and now that we’re back here, he’s showing who he is. I thought my Liam is back nut I’m wrong.

I wake up early so I went down to get some coffee and I saw Liam talking with someone on the phone. I tried to approach him slowly to hear what they are talking about.

“ yes brother, don’t worry I’m in good condition” I heard him say it but who is he talking to, did he meet someone?

“ okay brother take care of yourself” I saw him put down the phone so I acted like I had just arrived there and still yawning.

“ morning” I passed him and prepared my coffee and went to the living room. My phone rings so I answered it.

“Hello?” I saw Liam coming.

“ Maam we already saw them and you were right they are still alive” I was surprised by the news so I immediately went up and change my clothes.

“ send me the place and I’m coming” I put down my phone and went out as fast as I could until I bumped into Liam.

“ where are you going?” he asks.

“ I have to see someone,” I said, I step aside but he did not want me to go.

“ you are not going anywhere,” he said

“I need to go” I pushed him but he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the room and locked it.

“ you knew where they are so now you will go to them to make sure to kill them, you are shameless!” he slaps me, what is he talking about.

“ I know that Lucas and Fatima are alive, you are unlucky because someone helped them and your plan to kill them did not succeed. How can you do that to them! You even tried to kill your friend! What’s your reason for it!” Liam was so angry. Now I have confirmed that Lucas and Fatima are alive. I made the right decision to look for them because they weren’t able to find their bodies before so that means someone took them.

“ I planned to kill them? Why will I kill them?” I ask. There’s something wrong going on here.

“I talked to my brother yesterday, the person who help them told him that he saw you planned all of it. You planned to blow first the bomb in front of us and then from where Fatima is standing then when the people started panicking you burned your own back. How can you do that!” I can’t believe what I heard.

The first bomb indeed blew where Lucas is standing and the second is where Fatima is standing but the third bomb blew at my back so that is why it’s only my back that was burned.

“ that is not true! I am not the one who killed them, Fatima knows that and why don’t you ask her” I said

“ There is no need to ask them because they lost their memories after the incident” now I’m getting confused.

“ then how can you say that I was the one who tried to kill them? It’s because the person who saved them told you. What if all of this was his plan? Remember that your brother and Fatima lost their memories that is why it’s easy to make a story and make me as the main person behind it” I saw him surprised.

“ if that person wanted to help them then he should bring them already here and did not wait for how many years,” I said and his phone rings so he answered it and after he answered it he look at me and came to me.

“ where did you hide them?! Ha!” he holds my arms so tight and it hurts so much.

“ what are you saying?! “ I ask. It’s hurting me so much.

“ They are not there already! Tell me where did you hide them “he shouted. This is not Liam anymore, the Liam I knew cant hurt me like this

“ if something bad happened to them, I will not forgive you” he went out of the room and left me crying
