Chapter 43 He'd Make Her Get an Abortion!
Olivia returned to the master bedroom, locked the door, and tiredly washed up before changing into her pajamas.
She was just about to lie down when the door was pushed open from the outside.
Luca walked in. Fresh out of the shower, his hair was still slightly damp.
He went to the other side of the bed, lifted the blanket, and lay down, grabbing his phone to adjust the angle.
"Come here for a picture. We need to show Grandpa," Luca said, reaching out to signal Olivia to snuggle into his arms.
Olivia froze, scooting toward the edge of the bed. "Does it have to be like this? Can't we just take a photo lying next to each other?"
"Cooperate properly," Luca's voice turned cold. "He wants to see that we're close, not just lying together."
He reached out and pulled Olivia closer.
Olivia was trapped in his strong arms, her body pressed against his warm chest that smelled of body wash. She stiffened.
She tried to pull back.
"Don't move!" Luca lost his patience. Seeing her resist made him even more annoyed.
For Grandpa's sake, he had to pretend to be a loving husband, but Olivia was far more reluctant to be close to him than he'd expected.
It was just a hug. Was it that hard for her?
Luca grew more frustrated, tightening his grip to hold her firmly in his arms while his other hand lifted her chin.
Olivia's face was tilted up, her eyes wide with shock. Before she could say anything, Luca suddenly leaned down and kissed her lips.
Olivia pushed against his chest with force. "What are you doing…?"
Luca kissed her dominantly, holding up his phone with the camera aimed at their faces pressed together.
The screen flashed, capturing the moment of their kiss.
Without hesitation, Luca sent the photo.
After sending it, he finally let go of Olivia, smirking with satisfaction as he waved the phone screen in front of her. "Now, Grandpa should believe us."
Olivia stared at the intimate kissing photo on the screen, feeling humiliated.
He clearly didn't like her, yet he kissed her!
Luca didn't respect her at all. He was just using her as a tool to get the job done.
Angry, Olivia shoved Luca away, her voice laced with sarcasm. "Photo's done, so get out! Go be with your Windy and stop bothering me!"
Luca's expression darkened. "So eager to push me toward Windy? Olivia, do you really not care at all?" He stared at her slightly swollen lips, his throat tightening. "Why don't we make Grandpa completely at ease and have a kid?"
Luca leaned down and kissed Olivia again.
He kept kissing her lips, not letting her resist, his strong hands tightly gripping her waist, pulling her body fully against his.
Luca didn't want to hear her say things like that.
Pushing him toward another woman, as if losing him meant nothing to her.
His kisses grew more forceful, and at some point, one of their lips was bitten.
As their lips tangled, both tasted the metallic tang of blood.
The only sound in the room was their kissing.
Suddenly, a loud knock on the door interrupted them.
Luca stopped abruptly, breathing heavily, looking at Olivia's flushed face and dazed eyes.
"What is it?!" Luca's voice was full of irritation at being interrupted.
From outside, Windy's voice came through. "Luca, Olivia, I forgot to bring pajamas. Can I borrow one of Olivia's? An old one is fine. I'll wash it and return it tomorrow."
Borrowing clothes again.
Olivia pushed Luca away, sat up, and called out to the door, "Didn't I already give you all my clothes? There's nothing left in my closet!"
Luca got out of bed and opened the door to the walk-in closet.
Inside, the entire wardrobe was neatly filled with brand-new clothes, shoes, and accessories.
From underwear to formal dresses, everything was there—top brands of the season, many of them limited editions that were hard to get even at exclusive stores.
Olivia was stunned. When she left this morning, the closet had been empty.
When did Luca buy all these designer clothes and bags, and have them organized here…?
Luca casually grabbed a nightgown from the closet, walked to the door, and opened it.
Windy stood there, about to thank Luca, but froze.
The first thing she noticed was Luca's slightly swollen, bitten lip. Then she saw his bathrobe hanging loosely, the collar open to show his collarbone, and she caught a faint trace of women's perfume lingering around him.
Her expression turned sour, her eyes filled with shock.
They were kissing just now?! They were supposed to be getting a divorce—how could they still be kissing?! Did they really need to go this far to convince Linus?
Windy could barely hold back her jealousy.
Luca didn't care and made no effort to hide anything from Windy. He handed her the nightgown. "Here, take it. Get some rest."
Before Windy could react, Luca shut the door.
Outside, Windy held the nightgown, her fingertips cold.
The more she thought about it, the more unwilling she felt.
Why was Olivia kissing Luca in their room late at night?!
Windy didn't dare imagine that if she hadn't come to borrow clothes, the two of them might have already been in bed together!
It must be Olivia, unwilling to let go of the marriage, seizing the chance to seduce Luca!
Now that Linus really wanted them to have a child—if Olivia actually got pregnant…
Windy didn't want to think about what could happen next. She absolutely couldn't let that happen!
Back in the room, Luca returned to the bed and saw that Olivia had wrapped herself tightly in the blanket, even hiding her head underneath.
He laughed in frustration. Was she that scared of him?
Luca let out a cold huff, didn't try to get close to her again, and lay down on the other side.
The night grew deeper, and the room fell quiet.
Olivia gradually let her guard down and fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, she felt thirsty and got up to pour a glass of water in the living room.
Unexpectedly, Windy was sitting on the living room sofa watching TV.
Seeing Olivia, Windy dropped her soft demeanor, her gaze turning cold and malicious. She crossed her arms and sneered, "Luca promised me long ago that once he divorces you, he'll marry me. Olivia, don't even think about seducing a man who doesn't belong to you. You won't be staying in this house for long!"
Olivia paused.
Actually, even if Windy hadn't said it, she already knew.
In the years they'd been married, though Luca never mentioned divorce, he had always been cold to her. As soon as Windy showed up, she immediately took over Olivia's position at the company. Clearly, Luca had made some kind of promise to her.
"You don't need to remind me," Olivia said coldly. "When we get divorced is between me and Luca."
Windy scoffed, "If it weren't for Luca's grandpa, he would've split with you long ago! No matter how hard you try to seduce him, it's useless! And don't think having a kid will save this marriage. Luca said if you really get pregnant, he'll make you get an abortion!"
Windy rolled her eyes and went back to her room.
Olivia stood in the living room, feeling a chill run through her.
Did Luca really say that? That he'd make her get an abortion…?
