Chapter 254 Flea Market

Chapter 254 Flea Market

Meanwhile, Olivia was listening to Blake talk about the latest in the jewelry design world back home. Blake smiled and said, "Everyone in the domestic jewelry design scene knows your name now! Socialites are all fighting over your pieces, and brands are scrambling to work with you. You're a real top designer these days."

Olivia smiled shyly. "It's not as big a deal as you make it sound. I'm just doing what I love."

"It's not a big deal?" Blake said seriously. "I always knew you had talent, and now you've finally made it. By the way, I heard about your studio upgrade. Luca found the space for you? And the equipment is top-notch?"

"Yeah," Olivia nodded, looking at Luca nearby with eyes full of love. "He's helped me a lot, but I made all the decisions for the studio. He never got involved." She didn't want people thinking her success was all because of Luca. She wanted to stand on her own two feet.

Blake nodded with a smile. "I figured you'd say that. But Luca's really good to you. You can tell he spoils you. People always said Mr. Vettel was cold and distant, but seeing him with you today, I get it—his soft side is all for you."

Olivia's lips curved up, her heart feeling sweet. She knew Luca's gentleness wasn't an act. It came from deep inside—he truly cherished and spoiled her, wanting to give her everything good.

Halfway through the party, the terrace at the mansion opened up. A lot of people headed there to check out the night view. Luca held Olivia's hand as they followed Blake and Ethan over.

The terrace view was beautiful, with Paris lights stretching out and the Eiffel Tower glowing in the distance. A gentle evening breeze blew through, carrying a faint floral scent. It felt great.

Olivia leaned on the terrace railing, looking at the night scene with a satisfied smile. Luca stood beside her, wrapping his arms around her from behind and resting his chin on her head. He whispered, "Like the view?"

"I love it," Olivia nodded. "It's beautiful— even better than I imagined."

"I'll bring you here every year," Luca said softly. "We'll see night views all over the world, go everywhere you want. I'll make sure you're this happy every day."

Blake and Ethan stood nearby, watching the couple with warm smiles. Ethan put an arm around Blake's waist and said quietly, "We should get out more too, like them. Enjoy some us time."

Blake nodded, leaning on his shoulder. "Sure. After this busy stretch, let's take a vacation and relax."

The evening breeze carried laughter and chatter. Lights sparkled, and the night view was stunning. Olivia leaned into Luca's arms, listening to her friends' quiet talk and feeling his warmth. Her heart was full of happiness. She'd never imagined a life like this—with her love by her side, friends nearby, and a career she loved. All her regrets were gone, and all the happiness had come just as it should.

Luca leaned down and murmured in her ear, "I love you, Olivia."

Olivia closed her eyes and whispered back, "I love you too, Luca. Forever."

As the party wound down, Julien came over to say goodbye. He said warmly, "Mr. Vettel, Mrs. Vettel, it was an honor to have you both here. Next time you're in Paris, let me know. I'll take good care of you."

Luca nodded. "Thanks. We'll come by again sometime."

Blake and Ethan came over too. Blake held Olivia's hand, reluctant to let go. "Olivia, hit me up next time you're back home. We'll shop, eat, and catch up."

"Sure," Olivia nodded. "I'll contact you, and I'll treat you to something good."

After saying goodbye to Julien, Blake, and Ethan, Luca took Olivia's hand and got into the car back to the hotel. As the car drove through the night, Olivia leaned on his shoulder and slowly closed her eyes, still smiling happily.

Luca gently stroked her hair, his gaze so tender it could melt. He knew this honeymoon wasn't just to make up for lost time. It was to show Olivia she deserved all the good things, deserved to be cherished, and deserved a stable, happy future.

It was late when they got back to the hotel. Luca carefully carried Olivia out of the car and helped her into the room, trying not to wake her. Olivia half-opened her eyes sleepily and said softly, "Today was so fun. Not just the Paris night view, but seeing Blake too."

Luca smiled and kissed her forehead. "As long as you're happy. Tired? Go wash up and rest. Tomorrow, I'll take you to the Paris flea market. They say it has lots of fun little things you'll like."

"Okay," Olivia nodded with an excited smile. "Wait for me—we'll wash up together."

Luca agreed with a smile, helping her take off her coat with gentle, careful moves. The room light was soft, the air had a faint floral scent, and the two of them snuggled close—warm and happy.

After washing up, they got into bed. Olivia curled up in Luca's arms and fell asleep fast. Luca stroked her hair, watching her sleeping face with eyes full of affection and care. In his heart, he wished time would slow down, let him stay with her longer, and keep this happiness going forever.

The next morning, sunlight woke Olivia. She opened her eyes and saw Luca already awake, propped up against the headboard watching her, phone in hand like he was checking something.

"Awake?" Luca smiled as she opened her eyes and set his phone down. "Sleep well? Breakfast is ready from the kitchen. Wash up, and we'll head to the flea market."

Olivia stretched and scooted closer, resting on his shoulder. "Slept great. With you here, I sleep so soundly. What were you looking at?"

"Nothing much," Luca smiled, handing her the phone. "Just some flea market tips. Picked a few stalls you'll like so we can go straight there and not waste time."

Olivia took the phone and saw the detailed notes. Her heart warmed. He was always like this—planning everything ahead so she didn't have to worry.

"Thanks, Luca," Olivia said, kissing his cheek. "It's great having you."
