Chapter 252 Honeymoon Trip

Chapter 252 Honeymoon Trip

Their hotel was right on the banks of the Seine River. They could see the river's beauty from the window, and the Eiffel Tower was clearly visible in the distance. After dropping their bags, the two couldn't wait to head out and explore.

Luca held Olivia's hand as they walked the streets of Paris, looking at the European-style buildings nearby and soaking in the city's romantic feel. Olivia looked curiously at everything around her, stopping now and then to take photos, her smile never fading.

"Look, that's so pretty over there." Olivia pulled Luca's hand and pointed to a flower shop not far away. The entrance was filled with all kinds of fresh flowers, colorful and bright.

Luca looked where she pointed, smiled, and nodded. "Let's go buy a bunch."

They went into the shop, and Olivia picked out a bunch of white roses, just like the ones from their wedding—clean and pure. Luca paid and handed them to her with a smile. "Just like you, pure and beautiful."

Olivia's cheeks turned red. She took the flowers and hugged them close to her chest, feeling sweet inside.

They walked slowly along the Seine River bank, talking about the past, the time they'd missed, and their future life. No scheming, no tricks, no work stress—just each other's company and pure happiness.

"Before, I always thought we'd never have days like this in our lifetime," Olivia said softly, leaning on Luca's shoulder. "Back then, we had so many misunderstandings and obstacles. I even thought we'd miss each other forever."

"Sorry, it's all my fault," Luca said, gripping her hand tightly, his voice full of guilt. "I didn't trust you enough or stay strong enough. That's why you went through so much pain and why we lost so much time. It won't happen again."

"I don't blame you," Olivia said, shaking her head with a smile. "Those hard times just make us cherish our happiness now even more. Being together is enough."

In the evening, they went to the base of the Eiffel Tower. The sun was setting, and golden sunlight shone on the tower, giving it a golden glow that made it extra beautiful. Lots of couples were taking photos and hugging underneath, the air full of romance.

Luca pulled out his phone and took many photos of Olivia. In every one, she smiled brightly, her eyes full of happiness. When they got tired of posing, they sat on a bench under the tower, watching the sun go down, chatting, and enjoying the quiet moment.

"Hungry?" Luca touched her stomach and smiled. "I'll take you to Paris's most famous restaurant for the French food you love."

Olivia nodded, her face lighting up with excitement. She'd heard about French meals in Paris for a long time and always wanted to try one. Now she finally could—and with Luca.

The restaurant had a nice setting, fancy decor, and a romantic vibe. Luca ordered dishes he knew she liked, plus a bottle of red wine.

While waiting for the food, Olivia pulled out her phone and scrolled through the day's photos. Smiling, she said, "Look at this one—it's great. You made me look so pretty."

Luca leaned over to see her in the photo and smiled. "It's not my photography. You're pretty anyway. No matter what, you're the most beautiful in my eyes."

Olivia blushed again, feeling sweet inside. She looked up at Luca, her eyes full of love.

The food came quickly: foie gras, filet steak, creamy mushroom soup, and all kinds of desserts. Olivia picked up her knife and fork, took a bite of the foie gras, and her eyes lit up. "This is so good—better than I imagined."

Luca watched her eat happily and smiled, serving her more. "Eat plenty if you like it. We can order more."

They ate and chatted. Luca didn't want her to feel bad from the wine, so he only let her have a little and drank the rest himself.

Just then, a middle-aged man in a neat suit with perfectly combed hair walked over. He had a polite, respectful smile. His eyes lingered on Luca for a few seconds before he asked, "Excuse me, are you Mr. Luca Vettel?"

Luca looked up, his eyes pausing for a moment before going back to gentle. He nodded lightly. "Yes. And you are?"

The man looked delighted right away and stuck out his hand. "Hello, Mr. Vettel. I'm Julien, head of a local luxury group in Paris. I follow your business news a lot and didn't expect to run into you here." He turned to Olivia, a flash of admiration in his eyes. "This must be your wife? She has great style—you two are a perfect match."

Olivia gave a polite smile and nodded lightly without saying much.

Luca smiled, his tone calm. "Thanks. This is my wife, Olivia."

Julien nodded quickly, even more respectful. "Hello, Olivia. I've heard you're an amazing jewelry designer with a unique style. Our group has wanted to invite you to work with us but never found the right chance."

Olivia was surprised— she didn't expect anyone in Paris to know her designs. Her heart stirred a bit, and her smile became more genuine. "Thanks for the recognition. If there's a chance, we could talk about working together."

Julien's eyes lit up. "Great! Tonight, our group has a small private party at a villa just outside the city. We're inviting industry leaders and partners. Would you like to join? It'd be my way of being a good host, letting you meet some people and enjoy Paris at night."

Luca didn't answer right away. He looked down at Olivia, his eyes asking her. "Want to go? If you're tired, we'll just head back to the hotel—no pressure."

Olivia looked up at him, then at Julien's eager face, and shook her head lightly. "I'm not tired, and we have nothing else going on. Might as well check it out and get a feel for a Paris party." She was actually curious, and Julien seemed sincere—turning him down would feel rude. Plus, with Luca there, she had nothing to worry about.

Once Olivia nodded, Luca turned to Julien and said calmly, "Then we'll trouble you."

Julien was thrilled. "No trouble at all! I'll arrange a car and personally drive you over after your meal." He chatted politely for a bit longer, then stepped aside smartly, not wanting to bother them.

After he left, Olivia gently squeezed Luca's hand and smiled. "Didn't expect to get recognized here. Your fame has even reached Paris?"

Luca smiled and served her a piece of dessert. "Vettel Group has plenty of projects in Europe, so it's normal they know me. But Julien knowing you? That was a surprise. Looks like my wife is pretty famous too."
