Chapter 59
Hunter
Knight was smart enough to choose to build his mansion in the middle of the forest, but not enough to choose a forest that did not have only a slight distance of a few hundred miles like this one had.
Once I entered the forest, using the mate bond to track where Aria exactly was. I became aware of the fact that Knight was not that confident about how he sounded on the phone because on every corner he kept rouges as the guards to prevent me from reaching his mansion.
However, I did not let his arrangements succeed because I tore down every one of the routes into pieces just like I had told him. I knew my Aria was with him, captured by that son of a bitch and I needed to get her out at any cost. I wanted to rescue her as fast as possible before he could hurt her. I did not want to lose her.
And I was like a ravenous animal who had no mercy left inside of him. I had forgotten everything, the only thing that was in my mind was that I needed to save my mate before that monster could harm her.
I'd already gotten many injuries on me but that did not bother me the slightest bit. All that mattered to me, for now, was Aria, I could not live without her at any cost even if the cost meant my life.
And when I finally reached the mansion, I broke open the gate and barged into mansion. The rage was emerging like an ever-growing fire burning within me.
Hearing the sound of the door being broken, The attention of Knight's Beta and his Gamma drew upon me; They were peacefully sipping on bottles of beer until my arrival.
"Shit, this motherfucker," Ben cursed and strode towards me throwing away the beer bottle and shifting in the air in the process as he pounced at me followed by gamma.
I had no bloody reason to not kill these two puppets of Knight. And I did what I was supposed to be doing.
Ben was the first one who jumped on me, and his neck was the first target I caught between my canines. I dug them into his skin and his blood instantly gushed out, the metallic taste of his blood hit my tongue and satisfaction ran through my veins.
I threw him against the same bar he was sitting on a while ago.
The gamma jumped on me and bit my shoulder. Perhaps this fool had thought this slight stinging pain was going to overpower my rage and want to save my mate.
Alas! He invited his death by himself.
I flipped us, held him down by his throat using my paw, and tore his head from his body throwing it on the other side.
I was on my way to head up the stairs to search for my mate when Ben got up and pounced at me.
Ok, so that injury was not enough for this bastard to die.
Soon as he attacked me, I took the opportunity to tackle him down and bit off the veins on his neck. However, the sight of blood was not enough for me so I did exactly what I did to his companion, I tore his head away from his filthy body.
There was no sign of anyone else around. The pin drop silence was prowling around.
Suddenly my eyes fell on the huge portrait of Knight hanging on the wall of the two-way stairway and grabbing Ben's ben between my teeth, I threw it against the glass of the portrait with all force. The glass was broken into pieces, the portrait fell to the ground and the loud crashing sound echoed the entire place.
And then I let the deadly howl of Sebastian leave my mouth.
Aria needed to know that her mate was here to take her back.
