Chapter 29 Get Your Clothes Off
Jason was startled by Michael, and he trembled uncontrollably, and he threw the belt in his hand on the ground, "This..."
He was not sure what Michael meant.
Jessica stepped forward, planning to change the subject, "Michael..."
Upon hearing her voice, Michael's sharp eyes swept away like a gun.
Jessica was immediately silenced by the scare.
Michael asked again, "Who did it?"
His tone was colder than before, like ice water flowing down the back of their necks in winter.
The grating fake smile abruptly stopped, and the scene quieted down for a moment, with sweat starting to appear on Jason's forehead.
He felt a sense of unease.
The belt was right at his feet, so he couldn’t try to argue.
Jason, under the sharp gaze of Michael, forced a smile and said, “It’s our family matters, not worth mentioning. I was just worried that my daughter Jennifer would break the rules working as a home tutor at the Whitfield family, so I had to discipline her. I will be sending her abroad soon, so Mr. Whitfield, please hire a new excellent home tutor.”
…
…
After speaking, he wiped a cold sweat from his forehead.
"Since when is it your turn to be in charge of the Whitfield family's affairs?"
Michael's eyes narrowed, his tone as sharp as a cutting blade, causing Jason's face to change drastically.
At that moment, he truly realized that Michael was not the future son-in-law, but the king who decided on his destiny. He couldn't think of any more excuses, and his legs went weak.
Jessica and Mary were both shocked by Michael's warning, not daring to say another word.
Michael sneered, then turned and whispered to Jennifer, “William can't wait any longer, and why are you still here?”
"Okay."
Jennifer looked at Michael and was a little stunned.
He helped her out again, didn't he?
Jennifer quickly followed Michael out of the villa, and the oppression in her heart disappeared in an instant.
Taking a deep breath, she said to Michael, "I'm sorry, and I shouldn't have kept it from you."
" Jessica and I are not blood-related sisters. The hospital mistakenly switched babies when we were born. It wasn't until one year when Jessica got sick that we accidentally found out. Then some unpleasant things happened, and I went abroad. It was only on the day that I came back to save William."
…
…
As Jennifer spoke, she watched Michael's expression, unsure of how he would react to knowing her relationship with Jessica.
Michael remained expressionless, seemingly unconcerned about the matter.
Jennifer thought it was not weird. She was just a home tutor of the Whitfield family, and Michael probably did not care about her identity at all.
After getting into the car, William immediately threw himself into Jennifer's arms, saying, "Jennifer, you are so slow."
Jennifer rubbed William's head gently and comforted, "Some things got delayed. Let's go home now."
When mentioning the word "home", Jennifer felt weird.
It sounded strange.
William noticed the bloodstains on Jennifer's back and frowned, "Jennifer, you are injured."
William sounded anxious, and at this moment, he had already imagined countless scenes of Jennifer getting hurt and in pain. His eyes turned red as if he was about to cry.
Jennifer was both touched and worried, hurriedly comforting William in her arms, "It doesn’t matter. I will clean it up when we get home. Don't worry, William. As soon as I see you, all my pain disappears. You are my miracle cure."
…
…
William blinked his eyes and was very willing to be Jennifer's elixir, but would it make the pain go away?
Unable to hold back, he urged Michael, "Daddy, hurry up. I want to go home and check Jennifer's wound."
Otherwise, he couldn't rest assured.
And indeed Michael's car was driving faster than usual, but he seemed to be angry.
Jennifer held William in the car and felt a chill in her back.
Soon, the car arrived at the Whitfield villa.
William jumped out of the car, dragging Jennifer towards the room, "Jennifer, hurry."
He was afraid that if delayed, Jennifer's wound would worsen.
Jennifer didn't know how to describe her current feelings. William made her very touched.
William quickly took out the first aid kit, and like an adult, said to Jennifer, "Jennifer, don't be afraid. I will help you get better."
Jennifer nodded heavily, "Thank you, William."
But William was too young, and he was confused when he opened the medicine box.
He didn't know how to use these things.
Feeling frustrated, he wished he had learned from Alan earlier.
He could only seek help and look towards Michael, "Daddy, can you help Jennifer clean the wound."
Jennifer was suddenly filled with countless concerns.
Did Michael clean her wound? No way!
Jennifer refused. She didn't think Michael would agree either.
But unexpectedly, Michael's eyes shifted coldly and he abruptly said, "Get your clothes off."
"What?"
Jennifer was startled by his words, her heart suddenly pounding irregularly.
"No, it's not necessary, right?"
If it weren't for Michael looking serious and being entrusted by William, she would have suspected he was being a rogue.
But she was still surprised that he agreed to William and said, "Thank you, but I think I can do it myself."
Michael's face remained rigid and expressionless, he raised an eyebrow with a hint of intimidating feeling, "Can you see the wound for yourself?"
Jennifer nodded in her heart, wanting to say that she could look in the mirror.
Michael saw through her eyes' refusal, his face darkened inexplicably, "Do you want me to take your clothes off?"
"No."
She would do it herself.
Jennifer hesitated and glanced anxiously at Michael, then slowly turned around and lifted her clothes.
In an instant, her ears turned red as if painted with red paint.
Fortunately, William was still there.
Michael looked at her as if she was about to be frivolous, and exclaimed, "I am not interested in you."
Using her own words to silence her, Michael held a grudge.
Despite his words, the next moment, Michael was surprised.
As her clothes lifted, what came into view was her skin as fair as snow, and her slender waist that could be held with one hand.
Truly, a graceful and refined lady.
Looking up, the snow-white back was opened by a belt, and a blood-red line was particularly shocking.
His gaze immediately turned cold.
Michael involuntarily furrowed his brows, "Hold on."
"Okay."
Jennifer was too shy to answer him, and even before he started, she felt a burning sensation on her back out of embarrassment.
At this moment, her face must be even redder than a cooked shrimp.
Embarrassed, she spoke up, "I can handle it myself."
After all, Michael was a man.
Jennifer still felt shy and nervous.
Michael's brows furrowed even more tightly, and he commanded, "Sit still and don't move."
"Okay."
Jennifer met his eyes which were like the depths of the sea, and she dared not utter a refusal.
Michael's palm was warm, the disinfectant gauze cold, gently wiping her skin.
It was like an electric shock ran down her back.
