Chapter 38
"When will you come back?" Nidhi asked Roshini on the phone, standing beside her window, watching the beautiful drizzling rain that falling steadily yet uniformly.
"No Nidhar I will be back only after two weeks," Roshini replied sadly while folding her clothes.
"Hmm okay, then take care and eat healthily," Nidhi advised without including the name Siddharth.
Yesterday Roshini said everything that happened in the evening, even Vikranth's revelation about they have already chosen a daughter in law for his son. Nidhi was surprised and felt sad to know that, she asked Roshini to concentrate on her work and leave everything behind. And she added one thing that "Whatever it happens, think that as your destiny and never feel bad for anything that didn't happen because it isn't meant for you."
But personally, Nidhi felt there is something between them, but it is only up to Siddharth, whether to come back for Roshini or to end their relationship like every other love story. She had a big doubt if he read that letter by any chance? She prayed at least now he has to read that letter since it is already if he delays more then he will lose something precious in his life.
"You too. Take care of my future son in law," Roshini chuckled telling that.
"But what if that's a baby girl?" Nidhi asked.
"Fine then we don't have to fight in the future if we became in-laws," Roshini's statement made Nidhi giggle.
"Hmm yeah," Nidhi agreed.
"Then when is Varun coming home?"
"At 10, I think," Nidhi said. Roshini hummed hearing that.
"Okay, Roshan I will call you tomorrow, bye. Happy journey," Nidhi ended the call with a big smile on her face.
She went back to her bed taking careful steps. She is in the eighth month of her pregnancy. Thrilled plus excited to see their creation. Entering in parenthood is something that scaring Nidhi but her mom assured that she will take care of everything, to that her mother in law as well there to support her so Nidhi can be at ease without worrying. Their families wholeheartedly accepted them, realizing what is important, their daughter, or their fake reputation created by this society. Varun was an important reason for their realization.
When she looks back on the time she married Varun, everyone believed they wouldn't be together after their attraction ended. But now all of them were happy to see their relationship and it is all because of him. He is someone she believes as her gift. Without his straightforward decisions, they can never be happy at all. He may sound harsh sometimes when they fight for silly reasons but Nidhi understood he only tells what is right for them.
In their marriage life, he took care of her like a baby, so caring at the same time guiding her in the right way. He is just four years elder than her but he does everything like an experienced person maybe his perspective of viewing life in a different way was the reason for their happiness. He allowed her to work so that she can gain confidence. Not every man will be like him but Varun was really an unbelievable person.
In this rainy evening time, in the state of dizzy feeling Nidhi wished Varun by her side, she wanted to sleep hugging him, it is merely three weeks since they slept together. It is not just about physical intimacy it is more than that, she feels so secure and happy when she is spooned by his arms. Today she is going to get that feeling... She laid back and looked her phone the time is just 7.30 pm still there is time left for Varun's arrival so she closed her eyes for taking a small nap in that gap.

"Bye, mom," Roshini said while coming out of her house.
"Call me after you get on the train," his dad said.
"Hmm," Roshini nodded.
"Eat a lot," her mom advised.
Roshini nodded for that too, carrying the back bag she went out of her house. At first, Roshini was in the thought of going with her brother to the railway station but this rain has totally changed her plans. Getting into the cab Roshini bid her goodbyes to her family with a smile like she is all happy in her life.
As the cab crossed their street Roshini's smiling face vanished, she threw her head back on the seat and sighed closing her eyes. She is tangled up in a lot of things, one her arranged marriage, she is praying each second that Vijay to tell he isn't interested in her. Second Siddharth and about his marriage, who is that girl he is going to get married was just making her sleepless, third thing is that she is unable to forget his words, is he really going to come to Chennai? And last whether he read her letter or not. But he isn't tried to speak with her after that so she is squeezing her brain now in a confusion.
She opened her eyes and blankly staring at the passing lights she reached the Railway station. Paying the cab, she walked inside. Roshini was going to travel at 9.00 pm train and still, there is half an hour left for that.
Though the place is in a buzz Roshini was feeling so isolated with her thoughts.
She sat in an empty seat placing her bag on her lap. She didn't mind about anyone around her and immersed in her deep thoughts. Like Nidhi said she wanted to leave everything behind and to concentrate on her work, but she couldn't this Siddharth was distracting her both when he is near to her and far from her.
When she was in her thoughts, suddenly she felt a strange sensation on her skin like someone patting her with their stare, she lifted her head and her eyes widened in shock to see Siddharth standing before her.
Like seeing a wonder, she didn't avert her gaze at all, he was formally dressed, his shirt was slightly socked in rain.
Siddharth casually strides and took a seat beside her, Roshini couldn't speak when she was this astounded. "Where you thinking about me?" he asked. For a second Roshini scared whether he can able to read her thoughts.
Roshini didn't speak anything because he is telling the truth, yeah, every second she is thinking about him. "Why you are here?"
"I came here to say Hi to that shop owner," he replied pointing the shop near them and Roshini got irritated to hear his joke.
"Don't you know I am here to see you," his words slowly changed the rhythm of her heartbeat. "Why? What is there to see me?" Roshini asked looking away.
"Rosh, stop please, don't talk like I am no one to you," he said narrowing his eyes.
"Stop calling me Rosh, we are not in college and there is no need for you to act every time," she replied and her eyes welled in tears.
Hearing that Siddharth frowned, "So you were thinking that I acted for the entire time?" he asked clenching his jaw.
"No... but in the end, you proved that was acting so I couldn't help but think this way," she said sniffing her nose.
That time Roshini's train has arrived, they both looked at each other. "Past is past Roshini, you and me clearly aware what we felt that time. I... need to tell you so many things to you but now you go, don't keep this face, I haven't seen your smile yet so please... don't confuse yourself without hearing my explanation. I will come to you soon," he said and reached out his hand to grab her hand but Roshini immediately took away.
She stood up, when she was about to wear her back bag he bought that from her hand even though she protested. They headed to her compartment and Siddharth followed her. Before entering the train Roshini turned to Siddharth, "Bye," she said with a smile. With a grin, Siddharth nodded his headed and gave her a bag.
She went inside and after sitting beside the window side seat she gazed Siddharth, he is handsome than anything else in this world, God... please, she prayed the Almighty to give a strength to control her racing heart.
"How did you know that I am leaving today? At this time?" Roshini asked.
"I asked your brother," he replied.
Then the train started moving, "I will call you," Siddharth said in his action and Roshini nodded her head. Siddharth still giving that sensation whenever he smiles. It is so alluring, she doesn't know whether to believe his words are not but her heart pushing her to believe him and she felt he will definitely come to Chennai.

In the middle of her sleep Nidhi stretched her hand and that hit on something hard, she opened her eyes instantly to see that was Varun's chest. She first thought she is still in her dream then analyzing her surrounding and coming back to her senses she clearly noticed that it is indeed Varun.
He was sleeping enfolding her. She smiled and traced for her phone to check the time that showed 10.30pm. OMG! She mentally jumped in shock. Then she again turned her gaze to Varun. She went close to his lips and pecked. She kissed his cheeks, forehead, and neck. Hugging him again she felt the bliss in this.
"Sleep Nidhi! Don't tempt me," he mumbled and Nidhi pulled out from the embrace.
"You are not sleeping?" she asked.
"You disturbed my sleep," he opened his eyes.
Nidhi couldn't help than smiling seeing her husband, near her. "When you came?"
"Half an hour before,"
"Why you didn't wake me then," she asked.
"You were sleeping peacefully then how can I... and to that, I am also tired," he said and pecked her lips.
"Hmm," "I need water," she said and Varun immediately got up to get that. He helped her to sit back and gave the water bottle. She smiled seeing him work for her, after sipping "Varun...." She called out his name.
"Hmm?" he looked at her.
"Come here." She said offering her hand.
Varun with that seductive grin on his face moved near her. In a swift moment, he lifted her and placed her on his lap. "I missed you," she whined.
"I too missed you, baby," he said and kissed her tenderly. They didn't mind about breathing and kissed showing all their love.
"Nidhi better we stop here," he took it back.
Sighing in frustration she hugged him but her stomach made it difficult for her to hug him tightly. She looked at him and he smiled. "Do you think it is a girl?" she asked.
"Yeah, I want a girl," Varun said. He already has chosen the name Tamizhini since he loves his language like how he loves his mother.
"I am little afraid Varun," she said.
"For what?"
"For everything, without any complication, I have to give birth," she worried.
"Nothing will happen, don't stress yourself wifey," he pinched her cheeks and she giggled.
"What if I became fat after pregnancy?" she asked.
"You won't, even if you became then it is fine baby," he replied.
"Varun then...." Nidhi started to another question.
"Stop, don't think about anything right now. You know me, right? Do you think I care for that and all? Now let's sleep before waking up my sleeping demon, then it won't let you sleep," his words made her blush.
She slowly sat on the bed and laid on her left and Varun hugging her from behind, "Good night," he whispered fondling her belly, his baby.
