Alpha Aiden’s POV

The proposal didn’t go as perfectly as I planned in my head but it was still magical till I asked Dr Ambrose to give me the permission to take Nina and the Kids to Italy with me.

For your information, I didn't believe in words like love, magical , proposal and infinity till I met Nina. I feel like a part of me has been unlocked , it’s surreal.

He seems very angry, suspicious and it’s obvious he doesn’t think it’s a good idea. I totally understand his feelings and reasons. I am now after and will definitely consider my daughters safely before any man whether he is her husband or not but I only need him to trust me.

“It’s going to be fine Dr Ambrose because I will accompany Nina and help in babysitting your grandkids” said Hazel with her loud and sharp voice.

“As long as Hazel is going . I am going to” said Eros looking all clueless and more shocked when he saw the whole family gathered while taking in the scene before him.

“Is this a bad time or should I come back later ?” Asked Eros raising his hands up

“Come on don , you’re family and this dude just proposed to your sister” said Dr Ambrose to his son

“I am so glad she said no, ” said Eros, grabbing a bottle of wine to serve himself.

“What makes you think that she said No huh?” I asked if my ego was getting bruised.

“The look on you and fathers face, the atmosphere is tense besides Alpha Aiden is so intimidating ….” He Eros was talking but Nina cuts him off

“I said yes”

“Oh wow , congratulations sister. You will make a beautiful bride and if he tries anything shady with you, I am not going to take it lightly “ said Eros

“Come on guys, I love Aiden and I trust him. Can you please be happy for me and let we go to Italy with Aiden “ pleaded Nina

“I’m coming with you” said Eros as he and Hazel shook hands.

“Alright, fine but make sure you protect my daughter and grandkids. I need you to promise that because I have know you for three months , I have seen how you take care of Nina and my grandkids but I don’t trust your Pack, I don’t know them “ said Dr Ambrose

“I vow with my life that I will love and protect until the end of my days' ' I said and I mean every word that came out of my mouth.

“Alright, congratulations and welcome to the family Mr Vincenzo “ said Dr Ambrose as we both shook our hands firmly.

“Yay!!!!” Shouted Hazel excitedly

“I didn’t give you permission yet,” said Hazel’s mother.

“Come on mother please , please please . Please say yes or I might be left with my guilt because I will sneak out and travel “ pleaded Hazel , her mother rolled her eyes before nodding in agreement. We have all gotten used to the fact that Hazel gets what Hazel wants.

“Please enjoy your meal” I said before sitting down. Nina and I held our hands throughout the meal before we all took a family picture.

Nina and I spent the next day supervising and helping the staff pack our bags ,clothes and making sure that we don’t forget everything that the babies will need along the journey and when we land at home.

I didn’t tell anyone that I am coming back , not even Scarllet and I hope they are going to take it as a surprise single. I normally diner inform people about my whereabouts and travel schedule because of security reasons.

“Here , take this and you too” I said to Hazel and Eros before we got into the private jet.

“Why are you giving us a gun Aiden ?” Asked Hazel after putting the gun in her waist and hiding it under her clothes already.

“Just in case something comes up , I have quite an idea exciting life” I replied without giving much details

“ I am a damn vampire , I don’t need protection “ answered Eros in a cocky manner

“By excitement of , you definitely mean dangerous “ said Hazel crossing her arms and grinning.

“Well, you both should keep it just incase” I said

“Did you give Nina a gun too?” Hazel asked

“No, I don’t want to scare or make her worried. Besides, Nina is stronger than all of our Pierre’s combined . Y’all should know this and I will be too busy taking care of my family if anything happens so make sure you hold on to that gone and don’t lose it, I hope you know how to shoot?” I said sternly

“I didn’t but I have watched enough movies to have an idea , Italy seems to be a promising destination already ” Hazel said entering the jet.

“You should have given me two guns but this will do, my priority is Hazel and she’s a single individual so no big deal brother in-law “ exhaled Eros as he followed Hazel into the Jet.

I took a deep breath before entering the private jet to go seat beside Nina who was holding Alexander and I carried Annabelle from the nanny to hold her.

“Are you okay baby ?” I asked Nina when I discovered her hands tapping on the bottle of water.

“Nervous” she answered , I bent over and kissed her softly.

“You will be fine because I will always be by your side to keep you safe” I said and she nodded her head with a soft smile.

My heart was filled with warmth when I sighted my Island after long hours of journey, I kissed home and I do miss the ocean view.

“Wow ,Italy is beautiful and Nina wasn’t kidding when she said that you live on an Island!” Said Haasel excitedly, already clicking away on her camera.

“I couldn’t help but notice the fresh breath, I bet these forests around will have delicious meals and oh , this is already feeling like vacation” said Eros , he and Hazel do deserve each other.

Nina and I stared at each other and smiled, shaking our heads while some of the staff and a few soldiers Selene sent with us unpacked our stuff .

It was awkward that no one was there to receive us , my intuition was telling me that something was off but I brushed it off. “It's been a long since I left home and besides no one knows that I am coming so no one expects us” I thought to myself.

“Its still the same , still beautiful “ whispered Nina and I placed my hands in the small of her waist while balancing Annabelle.

“Welcome home Luna Queen, this is just one of your many castles” I whispered and she chuckled , while blushing shyly.

“Welcome to my come, follow me “ I said as I headed for the main entrance of my building to see no body goals or soldiers in view.

“I love the dark aesthetics, chic and classy” said Hazel but I ignored her. Her boyfriend Eros is always there to compliment and respond to her craziness.

“Why the fuck is no soldier or warrior around ?! This place should always be guarded “ I cursed but Nina gently closed the ears of our babies and I kept quiet looking around, my eyes on alert as we entered into the main entrance of the mansion.

My soldiers or atleast Beta Connor must have seen me come in through the security camera but why is no one still coming out to welcome us or atleast inquire whose jet landed on the island.

“It’s so quiet, unlike the last time ” Nina said and I nodded in agreement without saying anything because I didn't want to scare her and my babies.

“What’s going on?” I asked the moment I entered into my big ass mansion to see all the important members of the Silvermoon gathered including the soldiers and the elders of the pack.

“Are they trying to throw us a surprise party or a welcome feast ?” Asked Hazel but I gave her the hand signal to shut her mouth.

Something is wrong, something is definitely wrong because the Pack members and soldiers didn’t say a word, they only stared at me and my guest while bowing down out of respect as they made way for us to pass to the center of the mansion without saying a word.

“Where is Scarlet?” I asked but no one answered me, we only heard a loud sounding clap.

I removed my gun and Nina gasped. I turn around to face her while giving Alexander to Hazel.

“You guys should stay behind me and don’t act or do anything without my order” I said looking directly into Nina’s eyes ,trying to reassure her to stay calm.

“Ok” she whispered, wrapping Annabelle tighter while Eros stood behind her and Hazel made a protective cover from behind.

“Will someone tell me what the fuck is going on before I loose my mind?” I barked at them and then there clapping sounds stopped , it was now replaced by a menacing laugh.

“Hahhahahhhahaahhhsa, all hail the greatest” came a voice

“That bitch, it must definitely be her” I cursed when I sensed Beta Kim’s presence even before she came downstairs , she was coming from the Scarlet wing of the mansion.

“Where the hell is Scarlett and Beta Connor ?” I asked around calmly but no one answered me. I turned around and gave one of the elders a look hoping he would answer but he adamantly remained quiet which really pissed the hell out of me. The only reason this place is not burning up is because of the presence of Nina ,the babies and the absence of Scarlett is absolutely disturbing.

Boom Boom Boom I shot him 3 times in the head with my silencer and he fell to the ground. The other elders tried to help him up as they gave me a disappointed look but nobody spoke or answered me.

“No need for that, that’s if you want to see your sister alive “ came Beta Kim’s voice the moment she came downstairs as she stood some few distances away from me.

“I told you that I didn’t trust this bitch!” hissed Hazel

“What the fuck is going on?” I asked and she gave me a sly smile looking all confident and smug wearing her black overalls that is completely bulletproof.

“Oh wow, the babies are also here.It will make this party more delicious , I thought we will only have to deal with you Alpha Aiden but it’s good that you came with your little family. It will give us the chance to wipe your entire generation and I can’t wait to get my hands on that little wild cunt that dared place her hands on my face, I bet you don’t know how many million dollars my Botox cost , it’s expensive to be this beautiful…” said Kim but Hazel started laughing

“I will do it over and over again, you ugly for your information “ said Hazel and I turned around and gave Hazel a look which shut her up. She’s holding my son, I don’t want her to provoke anyone into harming the both of them.

I am trying to assess the severity of the situation before I take action. I also need to know where my sister is and how safe she is before I execute.

“What do you want and who are you working for ? I asked her calmly

“Oh, everyone here is working for me. You might end up working for me too but I don’t trust you so you will die too , you should be with your family in hell” said Beta Kim with so much bitterness

“Where is Scarlett?” I asked and she laughed out again

“Oh, how stupid and naive that girl is. It’s actually a surprise that she is your sister , I expect her to her more gothic and edgy but her naive little brain and hopeless romantic heart made this job easy for us” answered Beta Kim and I am now certain that she is not working alone on this plan, I also can’t seem to figure out how she bought the loyalty of my ruthless men... a lot of pieces are missing from this dangerous puzzle.

Beta Kim is playing a dangerous game and I should have killed her since the first time she tried to kill Nina.

“Where is Beta Connor ?” I asked her and Beta Kim’s eyes lit with so much wickedness, hatred and hunger for violence.
