Nina’s POV
Beep Beep
“Hey hot mama , did you get a creepy message from your husband or am I the only one that got it?” Asked Hazel when she checked her phone after the faint beeping sound.
“He is not my husband yet jeez Hazel …” I answered smiling my hearts out
“But you look so pretty when you blush , it’s a message about having a family lunch which is weird because I only know about family dinners and never heard of a family lunch“ said Hazel shaking her phone and giving me a questioning look
“Hazel , I don’t know but I’m still going to attend regardless “ I said
“What if it’s a bad news or so thing sensitive which will make sense since you didn’t recieve a message and how the hell did he even get my number ?” Asked Hazel
“I don’t know but Aiden always have his hands way and I’m coming to this family lunch thing “ I said already pressing the nanny’s number so that she can come in and watch over baby Alexander and baby Annabelle.
“Fine,let’s go “ I said with a small smile as Hazel and I went to our large dinning room to see the chef and his kitchen assistants already setting up the dinning table but the amusing thing is that everyone is there. My mother, the Manager who has become part of the family, Hazel and even my father , Dr Ambrose.
“Is everything okay?” I asked my father while looking at everyone but he shrugged his shoulders in an ‘I don’t have a fucking idea manner’
“Alpha Aiden sent us a text message for an emergency family lunch …” answered the manager.
“Why did everyone get a text but me ?” I whispered the question to myself , my mind already getting paranoid with the different thoughts running through it.
We all stood there looking kind of confused and lost , we couldn’t even sit down because the chef and his assistant were busy placing different delicious smelling goodies on the table while putting some candles and flowers on it.
“It’s so weird that they are placing candles in the middle of the day , that’s decoration sucide… “ said Hazel but her mother, the manager, gave her a terrifying glare which made her shut up.
“Sorry for the delay and the inconvenience, you may have a seat ladies and gentleman” said the chef.
“Oh okay”
“Uhmm”
“Sure thing” we all murmured as we all sat down at our usual seats despite father being around, my mother still sat at the head of the table.
The scented candles were smelling nice and so was the food. The scents were juggling in the atmosphere. We all didn’t start eating because it’s only fair that we wait for the person that invited us for lunch to show up first …his reason will determine how far our appetite will go.
“Arghh? What’s that ? Is this some kind of horror movie shot or a prank ?” Shouted Hazel when all the lights downstairs were turned off at the same time.
“Don’t be dramatic Hazel, we all can still see clearly” I said rolling her eyes besides it’s still afternoon and some rays of the sunlight were still coming in through the window.
The action only made us more curious, my heart was beating fast. I know that Aiden is smart and doesn’t act on impulse but this whole thing going on seems shady.
The lights in the giant gold chandelier which is hanging from the ceiling and almost touching the table came up and gave the whole dining room a beautiful golden hour brightness, it was subtle and yet beautiful. The little cute candles on the table were also giving the same glow so it made the table look all fancy and magical.
“Didn’t know the dining table could look like a 7 star hotel with just bulbs and candles “ said Hazel, already bringing her phone out to take some pictures.
“What is going on ?” I asked again and before someone can process the whole thing and give me an answer. A soft and a familiar romantic music started playing in the background, it was one of my favorite songs that keeps me calm when I’m reading, it was sung by Stephen and Em.

“Awwww, what in the fairy world is going on here?” I whispered already getting excited , Hazel just looked at me with a wink as I kept turning around hoping I will see Aiden.
“I can sense their presence , they will soon be down. Make sure the food, the lights , flowers and music are in place “ came Aiden’s voice which made everyone sit still and the house staff he was talking to smartly disappeared from the scene.
“Uhmm, everyone is already gathered for the emergency and important family lunch Alpha Aiden. We are just waiting for the person who invited us” said Hazel as all our eyes were pinned on a wet and hot looking Aiden.
His black shirt and hair were all wet and messy but he still held on to a banquet of fresh rose flowers from the gardens and water was dripping from his clothes ,to his booths and down to the marble floor.
“What’s going on Aiden and why are you all wet ?” I asked getting all concerned
“Uhmm, it’s raining but I knew that this will be a lot better if I get you some roses and so …here I am “ grunted Aiden awkwardly still holding the flower while the music kept playing
“You could have sent someone to get it Babe” I said trying to stand up and go meet him but he stepped back.
“Hey Red, please sit down. I don’t want you to get wet and I really wanted to get you these flowers myself. I know you love them even though they are going to die and wither off anyways but you love them so I got it for you, your smile means the world to me” he said and that made me blush hard and even got a little bit wet down there.
“Awww” Whispered Hazel while clicking away with her obvious flashlights.

“Young man , if you’re here for Nina . Why did you invite the whole family ?” Said my father after clearing his throat and the rest nodded their head in agreement.
“Oh, oh yes. Of course , that’s because I have something to say but I need to do something first “ said Aiden stepping forward and standing where he can see everyone and everyone can see him
Aiden came close and pecked me on both cheeks while making sure his wet body wasn’t touching mine before he gave me the fresh and big red rose flowers which I held onto my chest.
“I am going to cherish this rose until it withers “ I whispered to him and he pecked me on the nose.
“You’re cute, marry me Red” he said, going down on his knees and my heart skipped three beats in a row.
“But you asked me and I said yea already “ I answered but he shook his head and brought out a little box from his pocket and he opened it .
“I’m so sorry that I didn’t do this right the first time and I don’t know how to make this right or perfect but I will always try my best for you Nina. I’m not a romantic man but one thing I am so sure of with my entire life is that I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with your cute ass …I mean with you my dear fiancée. This isn’t a diamond ring, it’s my family’s generational heirloom that I wanted to give to you on our wedding day but I want you to have it now , will you please marry me Nina? Be mine “ he said in that bossy and authoritative voice of his that drives me crazy.
“Yes Aiden , I’m going to keep saying yes to you Babe '' I said softly while tears streamed down my face as he slid the emerald green stone ring onto my hands.
“Hey beautiful, don’t cry” he said before we both hugged each other in a big embrace. I was sitting down while he was still kneeling. At this moment I didn’t care about the shocked reaction, the claps and the awwws coming from the table.
“You should have given me a heads up Babe, I’m literally in my SpongeBob pajamas!” I said but he smiled and his eyes got dark before he gently brought down my face close to his before capturing my lips with his, he kissed so fiercely, dominantly and passionately. It felt like he was making a promise , it felt like he was marking me as his till eternity and my heart was filled with bubbling dose of joy as we both stood up still eating the hell out of our faces while clinging our body tightly together, it felt like a full blown out foreplay and we were both wet even though it’s in different places.
“Congratulations guys but I am very sure you eavesdrop on our conversation “ said Hazel while taking thousand of pictures
“I’m sorry for the unorganized and prompt lunch invitation, I didn’t know that you would all show up this fast,” said Aiden, his hands wrapped around my waist ,my hands on his chest while we faced my family.
“Well that is to tell you that we don’t joke around when the matters involve Nina, she is precious to us and I am going to use every last bit of my vampire strength and power to crush you into pieces in the most painful way of you dear make her cry “ said father

“You didn’t even ask for permission from me ? What if I say no to this “ said father sounding so fierce and serious

“Of course mother in-law , I might be a simp and that's only for Nina and my kids. I am still very much ruthless and won’t hesitate to shed blood when any harm comes near to my family” said Aiden and mother nodded in an approving manner.
“Well congratulations, you have my blessings and I am so happy that my daughter finally got her happily ever after “ said mother opening her arms as I went in to give her a hug while father and Aiden shared a manly shake. Hazel and her. Mother was clapping and cheering with bright smiles on their faces.
“Please let us eat, the food is getting cold. Excuse me please, I will be back shortly after I go up and change, “said Aiden and everyone took their seats as the chef came out to serve us.
“Let me see the ring and I need an upclose picture for your online diary. It’s a social media page where I record and post all your memories “
“But I don’t want my business in everyone’s faces “ I complained
'Don't worry it's private, ' said Hazel while focusing her entire attention on the crescent moon shaped ring with an emerald gemstone and a silver band.
“It’s a beautiful chaos and that was so sweet of Aiden “ said Hazel and I nodded my head in agreement as we squealed and hugged , we didn’t even eat much out of excitement.
Aiden came back but he didn’t sit down and everyone’s attention returned back to him.
“Father in-law , mother-in-law and my new family ,I need your permission to take Nina and the kids to Italy with me , I would like to introduce them to my family and pack “ said Aiden and my father's face immediately tightens. It was so obvious that he didn’t like the sound of that.
“When and for how long ?” Asked father.
“Never tomorrow and I don’t know when they will be back” answered Aiden honestly.
“Are you trying to steal my daughter and grandkids away from me ?” Asked the father standing up from his chair.
