Zara's POV

"Who?"

"The boy next door," my gaze moved to Keith and then back to my little girl who is already fourteen, she doesn't have her wolf yet but Keith and I are sure, she will have one soon, either next year or when she clock fifteen in a few months, although we are grooming her to become the next alpha of the pack, we still didn't want to impose anyone on her when it comes to her mate.

Even though the Silver Moon Pack had never had a female for an alpha before talk more of an alpha queen. Keith was bent on making our little girl, his successor. I am hoping it goes well but if ever she found her mate before power was transmitted to her, and she wanted to live with him, if he was not part of this Pack, then she is free to choose her mate over the Pack.

We are not going to stop her, in whatever choice she made. "who is the boy next door?" I asked like I didn't know who she was talking about. She is talking about the family that moved into our pack a few years ago with their son and daughter, the daughter, Adessa, is the same age as Kiara while the boy, Dexter is older. Having a girl the same age as her for the first time was amazing and they hit well it appears her closeness with the sister was what attracted her to the brother who is older than her by a year or two, I guess.

"Come on Mom don't you know him, warrior Philip's son..." She said in frustration before she moved her gaze to the window staring towards the clearing, Keith had built a new packhouse, close to the border giving us access to the training ground fast and even to the border at the South.

Her expression was that of amazement her eyes lit up and her hand pushed into her hair before she leaned on the window, biting her lower lips, and gasped, "he is hot." She murmured and Keith growled.

"Kiera, are you crushing on a warrior?" My gaze moved to Keith who had taken two big strides and pulled our daughter's hand, "They are too old for you?" I almost wanted to burst into laughter, maybe he forgot he was six years older than me.

Before Kiara could reply, I rushed to the window, and my eyes fell on the young man standing there, he was not too old, I think he should be the same age as Dexter that Kiera is crushing on, the kid is handsome but I don't think I have seen this kid around here before. "Keith..." I called and his eyes flicked white before he flicked normal.

"Lucian..." He screamed in excitement, as his hand went to Kiara's head, ranging it, and pressing a kiss on her forehead, "your uncle Lucian is here, he returns."

"Uncle Lucian is here?" She asked in excitement, pulling away from Keith's grip and running off, Kiera had missed her uncle, apart from Harris' beta, Lucian was one male Kiera couldn't stop warming up to.

"Hey careful and we are not done talking about the warrior, he is too..." I hit Keith's shoulder while giggling.

"You didn't even know the warrior, and yet you are condemning him." He laughed before his shoulders dropped.

"This kid is growing too fast, one minute she is a kid and the next she is a teenager having those fucking hormones and wanting someone to admire her. I haven't stayed with her for long and now she is crushing on someone and fuck this what if the goddess fated her at sixteen just like you? What if her mate turned out to be an asshole like me? I don't want..."

"Nothing will happen to our daughter, she got us, you, me, and the rest of the alpha circles, and aunties that could kick ass." Keith laughed pecking my forehead.

"I don't know what I did to the goddess to deserve you."

"Probably you bribe her,"

"Hey, what do I have to bribe the Goddess? Have you forgotten, I am one asshole of an alpha, a ruthless beast, a douche, a self consume avenger, that's my name. And those are things, the goddess aren't fond of." He said having that sad facade, he regrets everything he had done because of anger and revenge.

"Your handsomeness." I pulled him to me and kissed his lips. His hand moved to circle my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"Zara, you know..." I shake my head, no more regrets. If there is no sin there will be no forgiveness. That expression on my face showed that I didn't want him to berate himself, he smiled burying his nose in my neck. "Thank you..." he murmured.

"You haven't told me what I know." He chuckled at my neck.

"I want to bury myself inside of..."

"You should stop having those dirty thoughts, we need to see Lucian, we have a lot of catching up to do and I need to inform Lila that her big brother is back." I pushed my hand on his chest.

"Oh yeah, is that one of your lines of telling me that I can't have you today."

"I didn't say today, I said now." He smirked.

"Promise," he raised his pinky fingers.

"Hey, since when did you become Kiera, always wanting a pinky promise?"

"Since when I found out she is the daughter I wanted from the woman that is my blessing in my cursed life."

"Ah... So sweet..."

"The female, I want to..."

"Shut up, you are a pervert," I said pulling from him while running into the shower, I knew waiting for Keith would mean waiting for trouble and that would mean not meeting up with the man he called brother.

Keith was already out of the room when I came out of the bathroom, I fixed myself and ran out to join them, I missed him also, he was the first to show me love when I first arrived at this pack even when his sister was interested in the alpha.

My eyes were watery as I saw Lucian and Keith in a hug, they both had missed each other but something else caught my attention, someone else was standing beside him, it was a female, I gulped my saliva, 'Did he already find his mate?' I said mentally clenching my fist beside me, my brows furrowed.

"Queen Zara..." He called suddenly, I forced a smile, as he bowed before me and then his hand went to the female beside him and pulled her towards me, "Meet my mate Autumn, the Luna of Dark Wood Park..." My eyes bulge, does it mean he is an Alpha? I thought the former alpha didn't have a son. Wait? Is he the long-lost son of Alpha Aaron? I had so many questions, that I didn't even acknowledge the female that was stretching out her hand to me. Keith nudged me pulling me to reality, I gave an awkward smile before I took her hand in mine.

"Nice to meet you, Luna Autumn, I am queen Zara." I gave a forceful smile, she wanted to say something when we heard another uproar.

"Aunty Sara..." I tilted my head to the direction I heard my daughter growl from and there was my sister, my cousin, and my best friend.

I bit my lower lips as I stood there watching Kiera jump on Clair had just arrived in the pack with her pup

Sara is home

My body shook as my sobbing wrecked my whole being. When she raised her head, her eyes met mine. I didn't move from my spot so was her, she was standing there staring at me.

She had changed greatly yet she looked super beautiful but something had changed about her, behind that smile, I knew she had gone through a lot.

Seven years and I could wish whatever she went through didn't break her and even with Lucian present with another female beside him didn't hurt her more.

I couldn't move but suddenly I heard loud footsteps when my eyes darted to the fellow, it was the boy, I saw at the field the one Kiera called handsome, he ran towards her before his hand wrapped around her.

"Mother?" He called out to her.

"Blake?" I couldn't remember him but Sara did and he nodded to her. His tears dropped but they were tears of joy. I could feel everyone's emotions around me and I knew this wasn't going to be easy and this wasn't going to be the end.

With the little pup beside Sara staring at Blake.

"I am sorry Mother..." Blake murmured before he kissed her forehead, "I will bring you home."
