Chapter 395 The Result She Wants

Henry had just left Helen and Jessica's place when Isabella got a call from the private investigator.

"Ms. Jackson, Henry booked two plane tickets for tomorrow. He's planning to send those two women away."

"Got it. Tomorrow, find a way to stop their car. Don't let them get away." Kenna instructed.

"Yes, ma'am." The call ended.

Kenna twirled her phone in her hand, her eyes darkening as a mocking smile played on her lips. She picked up a model car from the table and shoved it forcefully, knocking over a stack of papers.

She muttered coldly to herself, "Henry, you really think sending them abroad is gonna fix this? Do you think I'm that easy to fool?"

"If you can't keep your promises, don't blame me for being ruthless when I take matters into my own hands."

...

Henry had arranged for two bodyguards to escort Helen and Jessica to the airport.

Not long after they left, Henry got a call from the bodyguards.

They reported that Helen and Jessica had been in a car accident on the way to the airport. Their car was rear-ended, and Helen was injured and taken to the hospital.

Henry rushed to the hospital and ran into Kenna there.

"Kenna, what do I have to do to make you satisfied? I was already planning to send them away. Why did you still..."

"Henry, do you think the harm Helen caused me is insignificant, or do you think I'm soft-hearted? Helen carries the weight of my brother's death. Do you think sending her abroad for a few days will erase everything?" Kenna sneered.

Caught between his mother, who raised him, and Kenna, the woman he loved deeply, Henry sighed in frustration and looked at Kenna in pain. "Tell me what you want me to do to make you let them go."

"It's simple," Kenna replied coldly, her head held high. "Cut off her credit cards and don't let her stay in your house. Just like when I kicked her out of the Jackson Villa, make her fend for herself for the rest of her life, and I'll consider it settled."

"Kenna, she's my mother. I can't just watch her..."

"So, you want me to swallow this and let my brother's death go unavenged? Henry, ask yourself, if you were in my shoes, could you do it?" Kenna interrupted, questioning him.

Jessica, hearing Kenna's voice, came out of the hospital room. She rushed at Kenna, raising her hand to slap.

"Kenna, you bitch! Did you send someone to crash into us? Are you trying to kill us?"

Kenna grabbed Jessica's wrist and flung it aside forcefully. "Jessica, you really have no brains. Do you even know yourself? Do you think you can take me on? Or are you relying on your brother being here, thinking he'll help you? Why don't you try and see who he'll side with?"

"Jessica, have you had enough?" Henry slapped Jessica across the face, scolding her.

Jessica held her cheek, stunned. She couldn't believe her own brother hit her for Kenna. When she recovered, she cried out angrily, "Henry, you hit me? Kenna tried to kill Mom and me, and you not only don't avenge us, but you also hit me?"

"If you hadn't pushed Mom to slander her, she wouldn't have had someone stop your car." Henry retorted coldly.

Jessica's eyes darted guiltily, but she quickly retorted, "If you didn't like her and wanted to be with her, Mom and I wouldn't have slandered her. We knew she was trouble, so we still went after her."

Kenna shrugged and smiled at Henry. "See, it's all your fault. If you didn't like me, they wouldn't have targeted me. So, what now? You see, your mom and sister and I are like oil and water. Who do you choose?"

"I choose you. Will you choose me?" Henry asked without hesitation.

Jessica, holding her face, stared at Henry in shock. Was he really abandoning her and their mom so easily?

"No," Kenna replied without hesitation. "There are many ways to get back at Helen. I don't need to involve myself."

With that, she turned and left without looking back.

Jessica, seeing Henry's defeat in front of Kenna, said gleefully, "Henry, did you see that? Kenna doesn't even like you. She's just using you to get back at Mom. Is it worth treating Mom and me like this for a woman who doesn't care about you?"

"Whether it's worth it is my business. But from now on, don't provoke her again. Otherwise, I won't be able to protect you," Henry warned coldly.

Jessica rolled her eyes and turned back to the hospital room.

Henry rubbed his temples in frustration. How did he end up with such a foolish sister?

His assistant cautiously asked, "Mr. Wallace, should I rebook the tickets for Mrs. Wallace and Ms. Wallace?"

"Not for now. Just keep an eye on them." Henry replied wearily.

Although Helen's injuries weren't severe, she had a concussion and needed to stay in the hospital for observation. She definitely couldn't leave the country for now.

Since Kenna didn't want them to leave, if he forced the issue, she would stop at nothing to interfere.

He didn't want to cause her any more trouble.

So, rebooking the tickets was pointless.

"Mr. Wallace, if you like Ms. Jackson, there are other ways." The assistant suggested, unable to bear seeing him in such pain.

"Other ways? What ways?" Henry frowned, looking puzzled.

The assistant cleared his throat and hinted, "Mr. Wallace, a woman's heart follows her body. If you win her over physically, you'll win her heart. You could..."

"Shut up." Henry interrupted, unable to listen any longer. His feelings for Kenna were pure, and he wouldn't let the assistant sully them.

He scolded the assistant, "How can you compare other women to her? I genuinely like her and would never use such despicable means to win her. If you say another word, you can pack your things and leave."

"Yes, Mr. Wallace. I'm sorry. I was out of line." The assistant apologized immediately.

Henry left with a grim expression.

The assistant wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and quickly followed.
