EPILOGUE
ALARIC'S POV

As Aria and I saw our daughter walk into the special school owned by Hades, I sighed deeply, one of thousands since this journey started.

It held in all my emotions, frustrations, and anxiety, something I didn't believe in before.

But for the last eight years, I'd discovered a new one every month, my throat hurting from shouting when I should and forcing it not to even when I felt the greatest urge to ask Zion why the hell she was adamant about making me grow gray hairs.

Thankfully, after homeschooling her, I'd visited my godfather for the favor Kaiden, and I had asked him about Lucas. Just like always, I'd heard about Aria getting in trouble with Octavio again, literally burning his hair this time around. Although it wasn't that much of a big deal, it made me feel frustrated, she was a free thinker, doing whatever came to her mind regardless of the consequences.

Doing something like that to my right-hand man had made me feel like I'd failed at my attempt to raise a good daughter, and when Hades had asked me what the problem was, I unleashed like a broken dam.

That was when he told me about this school.

His brothers built it for their children, gods, and demigods alike.

It was the one place she would have peers, although not equals but she won't feel alienated from everyone or misunderstood. Here, she could grow to love someone else besides the family that raised her; even Kora had to come back at some point to help out.

She was pregnant now and I understood

“We did it,” My Aria said next to me with a smile, her mind on the other side of the glass.

It was definitely half-empty over here.

“We should take a longggg break,” I suggested, imagining running away to an island and spending three months without thinking about anything or anyone but my soulmate.

“Don't be ridiculous, we have to make sure she's okay, besides, who's gonna help Octavio organize his wedding? I swear all the demon knows is to fall in love and propose to a Fallen, he's been looking at me like a lost chick the last few weeks, unable to ask for my help,” she rasped as we walked back to the car.

I looked at her and smiled; she had become the bond that united everyone around me, forming a strong, tight community that made life easier.

I doubt I'd have been able to get Zion through her teenage angst stage without everyone around me.

“They'll be fine, baby, but the next month is especially for us, okay? Just like it was in the beginning,” I insisted, kissing her cheek.

“But.. you know what? You're right, we do deserve a break. I don't even remember the last time we had sex just to enjoy it; it's been a stress-relief tool. I miss being fucked properly,” she said as though she was talking about the damn weather.

My cock heard her loud and clear.

“Is doing it in the parking lot of our daughter’s new school such a bad idea?” I whispered as I opened the back door of the SUV.

“Babyyy, you always make me do the worst things,” she replied coyly, her pussy juicing up from the strong, addictive scent of it.

“I'm about to make you scream out loud, is that a part of it?” I rasped as I made our clothes disappear, latching onto her sweet spot.

“I.. won't scream, it's not proper,” she moaned breathless as I sank into her wet, tight cunt.

I was surprised at the loud moan that escaped me; it's been over a week since we had sex, and I was obsessed with ensuring Zion had a good school year.

But I was in heaven and from the moans that escaped my woman's lips, I knew she was too.

I decided right there as I drove us both to the edge to never let anything or anyone take our minds off each other.

ARIA'S POV

Alaric decided we were going to restart all over again and he took that pretty seriously.

The past four years had been a whirlwind of happy moments, three big weddings and my daughter finally escaping that difficult zone of emotional imbalance.

Right now, she was training under Octavio and his wife on physical combat, and Alaric and I were on top of the Pacific Ocean, on a ship cruise.

“You know they'd lose their minds if we made love right on this deck,” he whispered in my ear.

“That's the problem,” I groaned, the thought taking my mind on a spin, “we're going to be fucking loudly, I don't want to have us wipe people's memories again,” I finished, rubbing my ass against his.

“You have to help me make a decision, baby, Are we doing it or not?” He whispered as his hands wrapped around me, discreetly rubbing my nipples

“Let's head inside, I'd rather they all start fucking as well because we're screaming and releasing your aura throughout the damn ocean,” I breathed out.

He lifted me off the ground and took me into the biggest room on the ship.

Right as we were done and stepped out, we heard the loud moans happening all around the ship.

“I fucking love this!” I giggled excitedly.

“I love that your smile is right back on your face, baby; who knew having a child could mess us up that way?”

“I wouldn't say it did; if we had experience before this, it would have been easier; Zion suffered just as much as we did because of that.”

“It's not happening again, that's for sure,” he declared.

“Are you sure about that?” I smirked.

“Wait, what?”

“I mean, it was a difficult period, but that's because we didn't have a previous experience, and we forgot we were lovers and not just parents. I mean, I'm not saying right now but on one of these vacations, I wouldn't mind us making another troublemaker,” I suggested, placing my hand on his naked chest.

“I don't know…”

“You make it sound like it was all bad.”

“Of course not; we had great moments too; we just always worried about the next time she'd be close to sending a demon back to hell for a century,” he sighed dramatically.

“This time around, we'll start early, set boundaries, and keep them grounded. Besides, Zion is going to be able to take care of her sibling; she's different now, kind and thoughtful, so if we ever stop understanding them, we can always ask her what the hell they're thinking,” I said with a chuckle.

“I love you so much,” he gushed and it still made me feel elated.

“And I love you too darling husband. I can't believe I was once scared of forever with you.”

“Nothing to be scared of, baby, we're going to keep making my brothers jealous, I mean, look at Sloth coming to ask me how to talk to his soulmate!”

“That's actually sweet. He's putting in effort, and that's a good thing.”

“He's learning from the best of course,” he boasted, kissing my neck repeatedly while I laughed hard.

And so we continued, always finding pockets of happiness in random places and making sure that forever never got boring regardless of what happened.

We were proud of what we'd been able to create through our bond, close friends, a wonderful family, and a reformed Hell where demons weren't trying to kill each other or dominate the earth.

And for an Unlucky Aria, that's not such a bad feat.
