Chapter 28 Excitement Allover

Chapter 28 Excitement Allover
Chapter 28— Aria’s POV

Excitemnt Allover

The air was thick with excitement, the hall shimmering with candles and golden decorations. Every corner sparkled with soft light, reflecting the importance of the day. My heart pounded in my chest, and I could barely breathe as I stepped beside Aiden. Everything around me looked bigger, brighter, and somehow… unreal.

The elders rose, their eyes scanning the crowd. A hush fell over the room, and I could feel hundreds of eyes on me. My stomach twisted, a mix of fear and anticipation. Today was the day Aiden would announce me as his mate. The Luna. The number one lady of the pack.

Aiden stepped forward confidently, his posture perfect, his presence commanding attention without even trying. I had always known he was an Alpha, but seeing him here, in front of all the elders and pack members, made my heart skip. He turned slightly toward me, his dark eyes softening for just a moment before he addressed the room.

“I have something important to say,” he began, his voice strong and steady, carrying to every corner. “All of you know me as the Alpha of this pack. But today, I am here to make it clear… My mate… my Luna… is Aria.”

The words hit me like a wave. My chest went tight, and for a moment I could hardly move. I felt the heat rise to my cheeks, my lips parting, but no sound came out. Then… the hall erupted.

“Long live the Luna!”

“Congratulations, Luna Aria!”

“May your bond bring strength and peace to our pack!”

The shouting, clapping, and cheers felt like it wrapped around me, lifting me, shaking me all at once. I blinked rapidly, trying to hold back tears. I had imagined this moment a thousand times, but now that it was real, it felt overwhelming.

The elders stepped forward, their faces solemn but kind. They raised their hands, and the room fell silent once more.

“May your union be blessed,” one elder intoned. “May the strength of the Alpha and the grace of the Luna guide this pack to greatness. May harmony, loyalty, and love dwell in this home.”

I could feel Aiden’s hand on mine, firm, grounding me. His thumb brushed lightly over my knuckles, and I leaned into him slightly, taking strength from his presence. I realized, in that moment, I wasn’t just standing beside him—I belonged here. Beside him. With him.

The celebration began immediately. Music filled the hall, drums and flutes creating a rhythm that pulled at my feet. People began to dance, some swirling around joyfully, others watching in awe. I felt Aiden’s hand at the small of my back, guiding me gently as we joined the dance. I had never felt so light, so alive.

“Careful,” he whispered in my ear, his voice low, teasing. “Don’t step on me.”

I laughed softly, the sound feeling foreign in my own ears after weeks of tension and fear. “I’m not that clumsy,” I said, though my stomach flipped slightly as he spun me around effortlessly.

We danced together, moving as if we had always known this rhythm. Every step, every turn, every glance between us seemed to be synchronized by something deeper than the music. For the first time in my life, I felt truly seen, truly accepted.

Eventually, the dance slowed, and Aiden leaned closer, brushing his lips lightly against my temple. “Come,” he said softly. “It’s time.”

Before I could respond, he scooped me up effortlessly, carrying me through the hall. People stepped aside, clapping and cheering, shouting blessings as he moved toward the private quarters. My hands gripped his shoulders tightly, my heart racing not just from the thrill but from the overwhelming sense of security.

When he set me down, I realized we were in our room—the place where all of this, the private part of our new life, would begin. The curtains were drawn, soft light spilling over the bed. Everything felt intimate, personal, unlike the spectacle we had just left.

Aiden set me down gently, his fingers brushing a strand of hair from my face. “You are mine,” he said simply, dark eyes locking with mine. “And no one—no one—can take that from us.”

I shivered at the words, feeling both fear and excitement. I nodded, barely trusting my voice. “I… I am yours,” I whispered.

He smiled, a rare, soft smile, and leaned in. Our lips met, tentative at first, exploring, then deepening as the weight of the day and the joy of our union pressed down on us. I felt his strength, his warmth, his possessiveness—not cruel, but protective, loving, claiming me in a way that left me breathless.

We pulled back slightly, foreheads resting together. I could hear his steady heartbeat, a sound that made my chest ache with longing.

“You did well today,” he murmured. “I’m proud of you, Aria. That’s what a Luna does—she faces the pack with courage, even when challenges come.”

I blushed, looking down at my hands, still trembling slightly. “I… I didn’t think I could. But… being with you… it made me strong.”

He kissed me again, softer this time, slower, savoring the moment. I felt safe, cherished, and loved, in a way I had never imagined.

The night stretched on, filled with quiet laughter, whispered words, soft touches, and the unspoken promise that no matter what happened outside, in this room, we belonged to each other.

For the first time in years, I felt like myself—not the girl hiding from jealousy, not the girl surviving gossip, not the girl fearing Mina’s schemes. I was Aria. Luna of the pack. Loved by her Alpha. Respected by the pack. And I was ready for whatever came next.
