Chapter 104: Divorce Agreement 2

Chapter 104: Divorce Agreement 2

"In all my years, I've seen shameless people, but I've never seen anyone as shameless as you!"

"Well, today I've really learned something new - first time seeing a mistress act so proud of herself!"

"Amelia, you're truly shameless!"

Mia didn't hold back with any of her words.

Since Amelia wanted everyone to know she seduced someone's husband while his wife was pregnant and thought being a mistress was something to be proud of, Mia would make sure she got her wish.

Amelia's face looked terrible, her chest heaving violently with anger.

This little bitch - who did she think she was to humiliate her like this?

James must be blind to like a woman like her.

Amelia raised her hand to wipe the soup from her face, trying to use her height advantage to look down on Mia, a woman she'd never considered worth her attention.

She stepped forward arrogantly, "Mia, who are you calling a mistress? Don't forget, you're the one who isn't loved!"

She was basically saying that in love, the unloved one is the real third wheel!

This stupid woman Mia probably still didn't know that James had fallen for her!

Amelia wanted to hurt Mia where it mattered most to women.

To step on her where it hurt.

Mia gave a cold laugh!

Her heart was already dead.

James's love meant nothing to her!

Just as she was about to snap back at Amelia, a sharp voice interrupted.

"You shameless bitch!"

A middle-aged woman with a somewhat out-of-shape figure suddenly rushed out from behind, grabbed Amelia's hair and yanked her backward.

Caught off guard, Amelia was pulled back several steps and fell to the ground.

The middle-aged woman had just been through her husband's affair, with the mistress showing up to flaunt herself and demanding a divorce in the name of true love.

She had given that man children, her body had changed, and now he was using every dirty trick to force her into a divorce.

Completely ignoring her image, she sat right on top of Amelia in public and started clawing at her face.

She wished she could kill every one of these homewrecking bitches.

Amelia immediately raised her hands to protect herself.

Her sleeves rolled up, exposing her smooth skin, which the woman's nails scratched viciously.

Leaving two shocking red marks.

She was ruthless, scratching and cursing at the same time.

"Instead of being a decent person, you choose to be a homewrecker. Seducing other people's husbands, destroying families, and having the nerve to brag about it here. I'll scratch up your face and see how you seduce men then!"

Amelia desperately protected her face while her arms got scratched bloody. Her clothes were torn in several places - she looked completely wrecked.

This humiliation, unlike anything she'd experienced before, made her lose all reason.

Her eyes turned red with rage as she yelled at the two people sitting there like idiots, "Are you dead? What are you standing there for? Come pull this crazy woman off me!"

The two who'd wanted to stay out of it had no choice but to get up and help.

The woman, having vented her anger, decided to quit while she was ahead.

She couldn't fight three people alone.

Before the two could reach her, she dusted off her hands and stood up.

As she got up, she spat on Amelia, then turned to leave.

"Stop her, call the police, I'm going to sue her."

Amelia got up from the ground, pointing at the two women and ordering them to stop the middle-aged woman.

She looked at the woman with a twisted expression - anyone who dared hurt her would pay.

"Amelia, let's just go."

Wasn't this embarrassing enough?

People around them were pointing and whispering. They were afraid someone they knew might see and spread the word.

They couldn't afford this kind of shame!

The two friends kept their heads down, trying to hide their faces with their hair, and grabbed Amelia to leave.

Amelia was too angry to think straight and refused to go.

Her two friends gave up on her and just left.

"How shameless, just get lost. Your twisted values are making us lose our appetite!"

Suddenly someone threw a dessert at Amelia's face.

This started everyone in the restaurant joining in the condemnation.

"Yeah, get lost!"

Amelia, who was used to being the center of attention, became like a rat crossing the street for the first time - everyone wanted to hit her.

She had no choice but to leave in disgrace.

Before leaving, she glared hard at Mia.

She would remember today's humiliation.

Mia, thinking of the baby in her belly, hadn't stepped forward the whole time.

After everyone dispersed, she nodded at the middle-aged woman in thanks.

She didn't feel any schadenfreude about Amelia's humiliation - this wasn't something to be proud of.

As the other woman, Amelia's wounds were only physical.

But she, a wife who had never been loved by her husband and then betrayed, was wounded all over.

Mia was exhausted, physically and mentally. She had to admit it.

What Amelia and her friend had said earlier still hurt her.

Having lost her appetite, she silently paid the bill and left the restaurant.

Just after she left, Benjamin left his friends behind and followed Mia out, worried about her.

He watched Mia walking ahead with her head down, clearly upset, and followed at a distance.

When Benjamin saw Mia raise her hand to wipe her eyes, he quickly caught up and held out a handkerchief from his pocket.

Mia was startled by the hand that suddenly appeared, turned her head, and saw a face full of concern. "Benjamin?"

Was he...

Seeing the flash of embarrassment in his eyes when she looked up, Mia said, "Don't tell me you thought I was crying?"

Benjamin awkwardly touched his nose and put the handkerchief away.

"What a coincidence running into you here. Meeting friends for dinner?" Mia casually changed the subject.

"No, I just got off the elevator and happened to see you, so I..."

Before Benjamin could finish denying it, someone behind them called out, "Benjamin, even if you're ditching us for a girl, you should at least pay the bill first!"

Mia turned around and saw two men standing at the entrance of the restaurant she'd just left.

Obviously, he'd lied.

He hadn't just arrived - he'd followed her out from that restaurant.

"Thank you."

Mia thanked Benjamin gratefully.

She felt his thoughtfulness.

He was trying to protect her dignity and spare her feelings.

Seeing that Mia didn't seem upset, Benjamin shot his two friends a cold look and said to her, "Can I give you a ride home?"

...

A black Bentley sped down the road.

Inside, James's face was dark, his hands gripping the steering wheel with such force that veins bulged visibly on the back of his hands.

His eyes stared straight ahead, filled with shock and disbelief.

When he'd received the divorce papers at the office and slowly opened them with his long fingers to see the wife's section already signed.

In that moment, his brain lost the ability to think normally.

He never expected Mia would send him divorce papers directly.
