Chapter 18

One month since Eva had taken her leave from Naestelle. Alex had finally realised how much he missed Eva and had been constantly asking Eric about her whereabouts. 

"Where is Eva? When is she coming to school?" 

Alex stopped Eric after school, looming over him on the already empty hallway.

"I have already said this to you. And I will say it again, you won't hear a word from me." 

Eric said walking away from Alex but soon stopped on his tracks when the latter grabbed his shoulder. 

"Tell me when I am being nice." 

Alex glared at Eric.

The latter scoffed at him.

"Or what?" 

Soon his face met with the fist of Alex, Eric stumbled back. He touched the side of his lips with his thumb, there was blood, his lips were cut. 

That was it, it seemed like a thin line of thread which was keeping Eric's patience in check broke down. 

Their discussion soon turned into a brawl and into a very rough fight as Eric was still not willing to say where she was. 

He spat blood that was oozing out from his wound.

"Give up, she's never coming back to you." 

"We'll never know." Alex said, clenching his fist to throw a punch. 

Their brawl continued until they were spotted and separated by Jaden and Jeremy. 

"Guys stop it." 

"Alex, don't cause any trouble." 

Jaden pushed Eric away while Jeremy dragged Alex away from there. 

Alex flailed trying to get away from his grip but all in vain as he was already exhausted by his fight with Eric. 

Two months had already passed by and Alex started to become desperate for Eva, her smile, her voice, her touch, her clumsiness and her which only became worse as time went by. He started to find himself sleeping in her former room.

While he found himself immersed in Eva's memories day by day, on the other hand he was preparing for his union with Austin too. 

They were tracking him down; it was not too far where the day when both of them will have their one last union.

It didn't take long for them to track Austin's hideout. After following every hint they had, they finally found his location.

"Alex!" Jaden barged in his room.

"We found the mouse and the hole he has been hiding in." 

Alex left everything he was doing and shifted all of his attention to the red-haired in front of him. 

"We will proceed according to your plan tonight. We need to act soon; he might change his base again." 

Jaden stated making Alex nod in agreement. 

"Now let's see how this rat will react after finally getting it's tail trampled." 

Alex stroked his gun and smirked, finally excited for his bloody reunion with Austin.
