Chapter 7

"Why were you together last night? Why did you have a wound on your hand and a bruise on your face?!" he asked firmly and his face showed concern.

Aries and I also looked at each other for a while before he approached Alpha Dior and bowed in front to pay respect. He volunteered to explain everything that happened.

"Let me explain, Alpha," he said calmly. 

"Alright, Aries. Explain everything to me,"Alpha replied seriously while still looking at my wound.

He slowly held my hand while his bright eyes looked at me. He turned his gaze to Aries when he started to speak.

"While I was walking in the forest, I heard loud footsteps and rustling in the distance.

I saw Crema fighting alone with the vampires so I immediately helped her," Aries explained.

"Why did you go back there, Crema?!" he asked firmly.

“What right do you have to prevent me from going back there?! I want revenge!" I answered bravely.

"Avenging alone? You know you almost died in their hands, don't you?!”he said in a loud voice.

"If I die, I choose that. You don't care anymore, Alpha!" I insisted.

"Calm down, Crema. I'm just worried about you because as your mate it's my responsibility to protect you," he said seriously.

"You're the only one who's angry. I'm fine and I'm still alive so don't over react!" I replied to him with a frown.

I heard him sigh and I simply smiled.

I really enjoy giving him a headache and it's funny to think that an Alpha like him is weak when it comes to me.

"I'm sorry, Crema. But next time you tell me where you're going so I can follow you. I just don't want anything bad to happen to you. There are many enemies hanging around in the Wound woods. We don't know when we'll meet them there in the forest. Please say goodbye to me next time" he calmly begged me.

"Alright, Alpha. Aries has nothing to do with this. You should even thank him for helping me," I replied.

Alpha nodded and thanked Aries. He also apologized for why he reacted like that earlier.

"Thank you for protecting Crema, Aries," he said with a smile.

"You're welcome, Alpha. As your right hand, it is my responsibility to protect you and your future Luna as well as the entire Wound woods," Aries replied with a smile.

Alpha called the Doctor to clean the wound on my hand. He didn't leave my side until the Doctor finished treating my wound. After the Doctor cleaned the wound he said goodbye to us.

When the Doctor left, I looked at him and he had been looking at me for a while.

I tried to smile at him but he still looked at me with a serious face. It was full of worry and as if he didn't want to lose me from his sight.

"I'm fine, so don't be dramatic about it," I told him.

"I really don't know what to do when I lose you, Crema," he responded emotionally while holding my hand.

He kissed my hand and suddenly electricity flowed through my body. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach for reasons I couldn't explain. I immediately released his grip on my hand because I didn't want this feeling.

"Can you leave me here? I want to rest, Alpha," I told him.

"Is it really okay?" he asked reassuringly. 

"Yes," I answered.

"Alright, just call me or Martha when you need something," he said with a smile. 

"Alright," I replied.

When he left the room, I just stared at the ceiling. I couldn't forget what I felt earlier. Why did he have such an effect on me when he held my hands?

I tried to turn my attention and slowly stood up.I took a deep breath and peered out the window. I could see the wolves training in the distance. How long can I stay here?

Coach Nieves and Daisy suddenly came to my mind and I have to admit that I miss them a lot. But for my parents I have to make sacrifices and I know that I will soon do justice for them. I will make Alpha Dior pay for it.Suddenly, someone knocked on my room and I walked towards it to open it.

When I opened the door, Martha appeared in front of me carrying food. She greeted me with a smile and entered the room to put the food on the table.

"How are you feeling, Crema?"she asked gently.

"I feel fine. Thank you for delivering the food," I replied with a smile.

"Don't say thank you, Crema. Alpha just told me,"she said with a smile.

"Alright, I'm leaving,"she said.

I also felt hungry so I started to eat. It only took a few seconds for me to finish eating because I was really hungry.

After I ate, I changed my clothes in front of the mirror and looked at myself. I had to take a step so that I could completely follow Alpha Dior in everything I wanted.

I can clearly see how overprotective he is with me so I know how he will turn around in my hands. But there is something that is bothering me and that is the feeling I was feeling earlier.

I took a deep breath and tried to turn my attention to something else. I was always thinking about Coach Nieves and daisy.

I was able to leave them because of this mission so I couldn't fail. I kept reminding myself of the reason I was here.In the middle of my deep thoughts I didn't realize that I fell asleep.

The next day I woke up early and decided to go out of my room. I first got dressed and cleaned my body. I looked in the mirror for a while before walking out the door. I was walking alone in the Corridor and the palace was still very quiet. I met Martha who was going to the kitchen with two women. I still remember a woman with her and they greeted me with a smile. I also greeted them with a smile.

"Good morning, Crema," Martha greeted with a smile.

"Good morning our Luna," the girls with her greeted me at the same time.

"Just call me Crema. I'm not your Luna," I said seriously.

"But that's where it's going. You'll still be Luna because you're the lucky one chosen by Alpha Dior," the woman replied with a smile.

"You're right, but for now you should call me Crema first," I replied with a smile. 

"Your beauty is truly enviable, Crema," the woman said with a smile.

I smiled at what she said and said goodbye.I looked back before exiting the big door. I walked towards the big Gate with Guards watching.As I approached, I heard the Guards talking and my eyes widened when I heard what they talked about.
