Chapter 6

"Why are you here?" he asked seriously while holding my hands.

He looked at my wound and shook his head. He looked at me seriously and took off his clothes to cover my bloody hand. He asked me again why I ended up in this place. I still couldn't answer his question and just cried in front of him.

"Did you know it's near the tunnel of the human world? Why are you crying?" he asked.

“I want to go there to avenge my parents. People mercilessly killed my parents," I lied.

I heard him rest deeply and hugged me. He helped me to stand up and volunteered to carry me but I refused what he wanted. There was a trace of worry on his face but I don't know why he was so worried about me.I didn't think he could follow me to this place because it was so far from Wound woods. I just held his arm while we walked back to Wound woods.

"Alpha will surely be angry when he finds out," he asked worriedly.

"Leave me alone so you don't get involved anymore," I answered.

"It's not possible!" he refused emphatically.

"Why? I'm not your responsibility, Aries. You've helped me a lot so please let me go. I can go home alone so you better go first," I begged but he was still stubborn.

"I will not leave you here," he replied seriously.

"Why?!" I asked him, annoyed.

"Because Alpha will be even more angry when he finds out that I abandoned you," he answered.

"I'll make sure he won't find out about this. Go home first, Aries," I said to him seriously.

"Crema, I love you," he said directly, which surprised me a lot.

"What?!" I asked in disbelief.

"I said I love you, that's why I'm doing this. If Alpha hadn't chosen you as his mate, I would have wanted to marry you," he admitted to me.

I couldn't believe what I heard from him. I immediately changed the conversation to avoid it. I invited him home and he couldn't do anything but follow me.

"Let's go back to the Wound woods," I said seriously.

He sighed and volunteered to change his form as a wolf so that we could quickly reach the Wound woods.At first I was hesitant because I have never touched a wolf and every time I see a creature like the one that killed my parents.But I really have no choice.There was no other way for us to return early because it was really far from the Wound woods. I was still injured and my body was weak so I accepted his offer.

When he shifted into a wolf form, I rode behind him. I held on well before he ran fast. A wolf is really very fast and a normal person can't beat it.

A few moments later we arrived outside the Castle.The guards' eyes widened when they saw us. Aries helped me enter the castle and walked down the Corridor to my room.

It was obvious that the other wolf's minds were narrowed when they saw us. But I just ignored it until we got to my room. He opened the door for me and laid me down on the bed.

"Wait here. I'm just going to get a first aid kit to treat your wound," he said as he stood up from the door.

I took a deep breath while thinking about the stupidity I had done. It's a good thing Aries saw me. I almost got caught in my plan to go back to my house.And It's a good thing I found an alibi to cover up my real plan.

After a while, Aries returned to my room with a box containing first aid. He looked at me before he slowly removed the cloth covering my wound.He carefully cleaned it and put a plaster on it.

"This wound of yours will heal.You just need to rest, Crema," he said to me calmly.

I smiled at him and thanked him for what he did for me. To be honest, I was convinced that Aries showed me kindness from the beginning. But I still can't get over what he said earlier. He should not love me because I can only hurt him.It is not in my vocabulary to love a wolf. I would rather be alone for life and If I chose to have a husband, it would be a human  not a creature like us. I lived as a human being for more than twenty years and I will return to the human world after my mission here. 

"Are you okay, Crema?" he asked softly. 

"I'm fine, Aries. It's better to rest," I smiled at him.

"Alright, just tell me when you need help. The guards are outside so you can call them if you need anything," he said.

"I'm fine, so leave me here," I responded firmly.

"Alright, Goodnight!" he said with a smile before leaving.

I just held my breath while thinking about the goodness that Aries showed me.

Later, I didn't realize that I fell asleep because of exhaustion after our long run.

The next day I woke up and got up right away. I still felt the pain in my body because of the fight I had with the three women vampires last night.I peeked out the window and I could see the guards sleeping. I just shook my head thinking that it was easy for enemies to enter this Castle due to the negligence of the Guards.

I faced the mirror and looked at myself. I combed my hair and tied it. I fixed myself and brushed my teeth in the bathroom. I changed my clothes and looked at myself again in front of the mirror.

Suddenly someone knocked on the door and I came to open it. Martha appeared in front of me and she first looked at my plastered wound before speaking.

"Alpha Dior is calling you,Crema,"she said seriously.

"I don't know why, so just come with me," he replied.

I went with her and we walked down the corridor to Alpha Dior's place.

When Martha and I entered, I was surprised to see Aries enter as well and our eyes met.

"Aries," I uttered.

He just looked at me and faced Alpha Dior.

Alpha turned his back before facing us. His very handsome face appeared to us and it was never boring to look at it. He looked at me seriously and looked at my plastered wound. He came to me and looked seriously into my eyes and he also turned his gaze to Aries. I couldn't help but feel nervous while waiting for what he was going to say.When he started speaking in front of us, Aries and I looked at each other at his question.
