Chapter 17 Bullet wounds

We drove to that place as soon as possible, luke called some of his friends who are well built and can fight and the cops are on their way

I was about to get out of the car, but J held my wrist "Blake relax just don't go all out of control, we don't know what he is capable of, so think straight, or he might hurt her" he said seriously

"I will. don't worry "I gave him a sad smile

We got out a bit far so he can't see or hear us. We don't know how dangerous he is

I saw him, he was there smoking, my blood started boiling, he better not hurt her if he did I will kill him

Then suddenly he went in, there is a small dilapidated hut in the middle of the woods, we use to come here for tracking so we knew this place

We were total 6 people, we slowly spread out Jason and I went for the front door, luke and clay went for the back and Ronnie went for the right side window, and Peter went for the left window on the other side, we surrounded him there is no way he can escape

I burst through the front door but we were too late

"One more step lover boy and she dies," he said, there was a gun in his hand, and it broke my heart to see her like that, there were a hand mark on her face, slowed cheek, cut and bloody lips, there were cuts all over her body

I will kill that bastard

I took a step towards the "no no no no don't even think about it" he said smirking

He grabbed her neck, I started panicking, I don't know what to do, but then Luke slowly entered the hut then clay followed, he winked at me and signaled me to keep him distracted so I did

"Listen, Derek, you don't know what your doing, put the gun down we can talk it out, "I said calmly

"I don't want to talk, just get out of here and pretend as nothing happened, you can live your life and we can live ours," he said and grabbed her by her arm

"Listen listen listen just relax ok," I said then Luke pulled his gun out

Then they started beating and kicking him, I just rushed towards her, she lost her balance, she was about to fall but I caught her

"I am so sorry baby, I am so sorry "I pleaded guilty, I wish I would I had come a little sooner

"Blake you came," she said, she is a little unconscious, there was a small smile on her lips

"Of course I came" I hugged her and kissed her forehead

Then I heard a gunshot, I turned around to see that Derek is badly beaten up but he has his gun in his hand again

And it is pointed towards me

"Give her to me," he said "NOW or he dies," he said pointing it to Jason

I stood up angrily and marched towards him "to get to her you have to get through me" I said

"So be it then" he pulled the trigger but being, the idiot she comes in the middle and took the shot for me

I lost everything that moment no no no I can't. .. I can't lose her please not you

The bullet hit her on her shoulder, and she fell on the ground, I was too shocked and everyone else was too

"I will kill you," I said angrily, he tried to point the gun to me but I grabbed it and threw it and started punching and kicking him, I heard lots of bones breaking

"Blake she.. she.. we are losing her," Jason said panicked

"Hope. Hope please keep your eyes open please please please " I begged her, pleaded her

"You take her to the hospital we'll take care of him," Luke said grabbing Derek by his shirt

I quickly lifted her bridal style and ran to the car, Jason trailing behind me

He opened the door and I laid her in the back seat and laid her head on my lap, and Jason closed the door and got in the driver's seat and started the car

"Please keep your eyes open, please please please please, " I said shaking her a little

This seems so similar, I'm in the same situation I was 3 years ago. But I don't want to lose her too. Please stay with me.

Her eyes were heavy, she was closing them

We reached the hospital Jason got out and opened the door for me, her blood was all over me

I carried her bridal style again, "help anyone please its an emergency please "me and Jason were begging the doctors

Some doctors came rushing towards us "what happened? " asked a doctor

"She is been shot. doctor, please help her do whatever you have to but please save her" I kept on begging people

They took her to the emergency room, I was pacing outside the room

"Oh honey " my mom came running towards me and hugged me tight, Jason had gone to inform my parents and he took care of the Derek problem

I am really lucky to have him, I really am

"Are you ok ?" She asked, am I ok? Of course not, she is in there fighting for life and death, how can I be alright, I want to scream and tell the world that I am not ok.

"I am an ok mom," I said giving her a small smile

"Where is she. where is my sister " Grace came yelling

She saw me and grabbed my shirt "you said you won't let anything happen to her, then why is she in the operation theatre, answer me goddammit "

All I did was look down, this is all my fault. I wish the bullet had hit me instead of her, then she would be safe, I am responsible for her situation

The doctor came out of the operation theatre

"How is she?" I asked him

"We have removed the bullet but.."

"But what "

"She is in a coma"
