THIRD PERSON'S POV:-
Oliver made his way toward the room he had concealed with locks that couldn't be opened unless the caster commended it. He always went to meet her when no one was looking at him. He visited her every single night. For the past nineteen years, since the night she was buried deep in the ground without him knowing, he had been visiting her. Keep a piece of her with him, the very important piece of her that he thought he owned.
He could hear her heart thumper hard and fast. Something was definitely very exciting about that night. He had been very uneasy all day, only thinking about her all day. He was counting every single second from the moment he opened his eyes at dawn.
He unlocked the door and entered the room. He didn't forget to lock it from the inside. He couldn't let any of Athena's men find his secret. The very reason why the Moon goddess was letting him win all this long. He had something so important caged in his authority. It was the innocent heart of his wife, Aurora Woodfang. Something that he never let go. Something he held onto.
"It's been a fucking long day, my dark haired princess. I waited all day just so I could come to you. It took way longer for the sun to set down and the night to strike the demon hour." Oliver whispered in a seductive tone as he walked closer toward the huge glassed container where he had kept her heart locked for ages.
He placed his hand on the surface of the glass and her heart skipped a beat. "Ohh! It's been a long time since I heard that happening. Last time your heart skipped a beat was when you thought you could still have me. Silly you!" He growled seductively, looking at her heart, pumping the fluids in and out of the arteries.
"I was not silly, Oliver. I just loved you way too much." Oliver's eyes widened in horror as he heard Aurora's voice. He looked around in horror. He found Athena stepping out from behind the tall frame that was holding the glassed container firmly.
"You pooped in your pants, Daddy?" Athena asked, smiling wickedly.
"I already knew one day you would make an appearance. That was dirty of you to let my daughter have your face." Oliver growled at Aurora as she walked toward Oliver, not thinking about the tricks he might have had rolled up in his sleeves.
"I wanted her to hate you for what you really are. And I was able to show her your real face." Aurora growled back at Oliver, nothing thinking for a second that they could be heard.
"I was to keep distance from her, hate her and even accuse my mate of cheating just to be able to hold a piece of you inside this mansion." Oliver yelled at Aurora angrily, his eyes flashing red with anger.
"It was that one piece that you didn't let go that turned your daughter into what I was supposed to be." Aurora growled in anger.
Aurora took a few steps away from Oliver, walking back toward the glassed container. As soon as she touched the container, she was suddenly electrocuted. As if a whole bolt of lightning fell on her head. She was thrown away from the container. Breathing heavily, Aurora tried to get up. She started laughing as she watched Oliver walking toward her.
"I will make sure you will be slathered by the hands of your own daughter. And I will be the one dragging your dark soul to hell. Only then, will I be at peace, and will be able to go back to my mate." Aurora growled at him, not thinking much of the pain she suddenly started feeling in her belly.
For a while, Oliver had this terrified look on his face that satisfied Aurora. Then his lips curled up into a mischievous grin the moment he was standing in front of her, towering over her. "If you weren't in the body if my daughter, I swear to goddess, I would have ripped that bastard's baby out of your body and fucked you hard." He growled at her seductively.
Aurora gritted her teeth in anger, her eyes flashed the disgust she felt for him. "You are never gonna win. I made sure I would not be alone before I came here. Help is on the way." She taunted him, glaring at him with hatred in her eyes for him. Oliver grabbed her jaw tightly, making her whimper in pain.
"Oh I knew it! I came prepared as well, my princess." He whispered seductively, making her squirm. Before she could free herself, he threw a fist full of green ish powder on her face. Aurora gasped loudly. Her skin turned green and her eyes turned back to her head. She closed her eyes, as the spell worked.
………………
Athena opened her eyes, she found herself lying in her bedroom. The bedroom that she had when she was little. She was surprised to see it decorated with everything that not a little girl, but a grown woman would need. Rubbing the sleep off of her eyes, she sat up on the bed, trying to remember what happened.
"Finally, you are awake!" She heard a voice echoing inside the room. She turned her head, staring at her father's face. There was a soft smile on her face as he approached her. A smile she never saw in his face her whole life.
"What is happening? Why am I here?" She asked, almost demanding for him to answer.
"Don't you remember?" Instead of responding to her, he asked her another question. Frowning in confusion, she blinked a few times, then she shook her head.
"You came back. Your mate knocked you up and spread rumors around that you have been sleeping around the pack. He claims that the baby isn't his." Athena gasped, her eyes started to water up. She couldn't remember her Alexander being mean and monstrous like her father was.
"That's not true. He is not a monster like you. He would never do that to me." She screamed at her father angrily. She found him leaning forward. She started punching his chest but Oliver wrapped his arms around her, hugging her protectively.
"I know it's difficult for you to accept, my baby. But that is the truth. I told you, he would take revenge from you. He sent you here, demanding to give him everything you are holding of his sister." Oliver was sobbing as he filled Aurora's head with lies.
Just then, the door of her bedroom flung open and Alexander stepped into her room. "Athena! Oh my goddess. I thought something happened to you." Alexander spoke in a concerned tone as he walked toward the bed. Oliver pulled away from Athena and walked out of the room. No one saw the wicked smile he had on his face.
Once left alone, Alexander wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. "Tell me, did you find it? The last piece of my sister. You came here to get it." Alexander asked Athena in a low tone.
Her eyes started to water up as she realized her father was telling her the truth for the first time. Unfortunate for her, Cynthia was in a deep sleep to answer any of her questions.
"So he was telling me the truth. You are here just for your sister, not for me, your child?" Athena asked angrily, surprising Alexander with her questions.
"What are you talking about, Athena? Jonah told me everything about you and him. You need to tell me where that last piece of her is." Alexander asked in a low tone. He was unable to feel his surroundings. He couldn't feel his mate. It was making him nervous.
Athena jumped out of the bed and grabbed Alexander by his throat. "I never thought that you, out of all people, would accuse me of something like that. I thought your sister didn't raise you like this." Athena was screaming at him angrily.
The hatred he saw in her eyes for himself, left his tongue paralysed. Although he wanted to tell her the truth, not a single word came out of her mouth.
Athena grabbed his collar and pulled him out of her room. She dragged him all the way to the entrance of the mansion and pushed Alexander out of the mansion. "I don't want to see you ever again, Alexander. You disgust me. How could you?" Athena yelled at him, tears burning her eyes, threatening her to break free.
"Athena! There must be some misunderstanding. Of course I came here for you. Your father has Aurora's heart somewhere in this mansion. And because of that, she can't rest in peace. She asked me to come and get it along with you. You have to believe me." Alexander was on his knees, begging his mate to believe him.
But he didn't know, the spell that was casted on her, only let her believe one person. That was the caster. "You went too far this time, Alexander. Get out of my sight and never show me your face again." Athena yelled at him angrily, ordering her guards to throw him out of the pack. Alexander was dragged away. Although he wanted to fight for his mate and his baby, the hatred he saw in Athena's eyes for himself, left him with no strength at all.
