Love Profess
“Immediately Alex and Lily were being dragged away.” Isabella stood yet dumbfounded as she just slumped to the floor. James immediately ran to her side and held her, carrying her up to sit on the sofa. 

“Are you okay, Isabella?” he said. 

So Isabella just nodded her head. “I don’t trust myself. A lot of stuff is running through my head, and I feel weak. I don’t want to go anywhere anymore, and I don’t want to run away from anybody. I think I don’t deserve anyone's love at this point,” she said as she broke down into tears. 

James just sat there. 

“James, please just leave already. I don’t want to be with anybody. I don’t want to have any friends. I don’t want to have anybody else around me. Everybody I’ve ever known in this life has always betrayed me. Except you, James. And I’ve hurt you so much, so many times. I don’t want to keep on hurting you. So please just leave already. I just want to die. I just want to leave this fucking world,” she said to James. 

“Shh. Shut up, Isabella, just calm down. Everything is going to be fine,” he said as he held her tightly while she continued crying. 

“I didn’t know what to say again, so I just told her to keep quiet as I held her tightly. She kept on crying as she cried herself to sleep in James’s hands. James just sat there hugging her tightly as he felt her taking slow breaths. He knew immediately that she had fallen asleep after crying a lot. He immediately carried her into his car and drove her to his place. 

“Immediately got home, he brought her out of the car. She didn’t even wake up. He wondered when last she had had a peaceful rest like this,” he thought to himself as he took her into his room and laid her on his bed. 

“I would not let anything ever hurt you again. I would not let anybody take you away from me ever again. Isabella, now everything's going to be fine. I assure you. I’ll give you the happiness in the world, so much so that you wouldn’t even think of dying again. You will not think of anybody. I will shower you with happiness and love that you would not want to leave my side ever again,” he said to Isabella's sleeping figure as he just looked at her and smiled. 

“I love you so much, Isabella. And I just want you to know that nothing in this world will take you away from me. And nothing in this world will be able to hurt or harm you anymore. I’ll make sure that Lily and Alex pay for what they did to you. Everybody that has ever done you wrong, all of them are going to pay, and they are going to answer to me. Nothing in this world will ever hurt you anymore,” he said to Isabella's sleeping face as he picked her up and immediately covered her with a duvet. He walked out of the room, allowing her to sleep comfortably. 

Meanwhile, Lily and Alex’s case was already charged to court as their first hearing was going to happen the following day. James had already called the police station earlier to ask if they had gotten there. He also called Trisha and Rachel, informing them that Isabella was safe as they were already worried about that, including her parents. 

He informed Trisha that Isabella was safe; she was at his place. 

“Thank God that she's with you,” she said through the phone as he went back to check on Isabella. She was still sleeping soundly. He wondered why she slept so much. 

“She had been through a lot these past few days, and she had been thinking so much that she couldn't even get enough sleep. She couldn’t even sleep peacefully,” he thought to himself as he allowed her to sleep well. He reduced the temperature of the AC as he felt that she was holding so much heat. He thought that she was feeling too cold as he covered her very well with the blankets. 

He immediately went downstairs to prepare some food for her so that if she woke up, she'd be able to eat. He knew that she hadn’t eaten well these past few days as she was looking lean, he thought to himself as he continued making her lunch. 

He was humming a song to himself as he was preparing lunch before he noticed that someone was standing by the kitchen door. 

Immediately, he turned around only to find Isabella standing there looking at him and smiling. 

“Hey beautiful, you’re awake already. Oh gosh, you slept like a baby,” he said to her, and she just smiled at him. 

She stood and walked towards him. “Thank you, James. After everything I’ve done to you, after directly rejecting you, you still care for me this much. I am still ready to take me back. Thank you so much, James, for making me this happy, and thank you for loving me as much as you do. I really love you so much,” she said to James. 

As she spoke, James was very happy hearing those three words from Isabella; they made his heart jump for joy as he felt very happy and elated. 

“Did she actually just say she loved me?” he couldn’t even comprehend the matter as he just hugged her so much. 

He hugged her tightly and he was already squeezing the breath out of her. 

“Would you mind releasing a bit?” Isabella said to him jokingly as he laughed and shouted, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I was just too overjoyed,” he said. 

So Isabella, as he finished making their lunch, and they ate together. Isabella slept over at his place because she didn’t want to face anybody right now apart from James. 

The next morning, they had been informed that Lily and Alex’s case was happening, so they had woken up earlier and gone to court. She met Trisha at the footstep of the court, so she went over to Trisha and greeted her. 

“Hi Trisha, thanks for everything. You're the best friend. However, you know you're more than a friend to me, and I love you so much. Thanks for making me see light in everything,” she said to Trisha, and tears streamed down Trisha's face as she looked at her. 

Trisha looked at her and also looked towards Rachel’s direction. Isabella immediately mouthed, “It’s not time yet, at least not yet,” she said to Trisha as Trisha nodded her head in understanding, and they walked into the court. 

Immediately, the judge arrived and started judging the case. All evidence was brought forth as Lily stood in the witness box, shedding tears. She knew that it was all over for her because she remembered yesterday, as she got to the court, she immediately requested a phone call because she was regarded as a rich man’s daughter. 

She was allowed the phone call on behalf of her dad as she immediately dialed that number. Before she could even say anything into the speaker, her dad immediately shouted at her, “Just shut up already! I don’t want to hear anything you want to say, Lily. I helped you the first time when you tried to kill somebody. Now you have to go ahead and kidnap the same person not less than a month after you were released from jail. What kind of daughter are you? I tried to overlook every one of your wrongdoings, but you wouldn’t listen. Why? Why do you have to disgrace me so much? You are trying so much to ruin my reputation, and I’ve always been understanding. I told you it was because you lost your mom, that’s why you were always so…”
