Plan Backfires
"Yes, what you said is exactly the truth. I would rather kill James than have another person be with him," she said.

Alex looked at her, "You are just crazy. I think you need a therapist. You are going psycho, Lily, and you are not even realizing it. I wonder whether it's because you no longer have a mom," he said to her as Lily slapped him across the face.

"Don't you dare, Alex! Don't you ever dare speak about my mom that way! I don't want to hear the word 'mom' from your mouth," she said to him angrily. "I promise you, Alex, you will rot in jail. I'll make sure that everything you do will not work out, and you are going to rot with him!" she shouted.

As she called the police, meanwhile, James had already turned Isabella into a safe corner, now trying to talk sense into her. "Isabella, what are you doing? Come back to your senses! How could you choose Alex?"

As Isabella broke down crying, she said, "James, please don't make things hard for me. I know you love me. I know that you would do anything for my happiness. And do you know what I want right now? James, I want you to just leave, please. I'm begging you. I've chosen Alex. I think I've hurt Alex enough, and now it's time for him to be happy. I've chosen to be with him. James, please don't make things hard for me. It was hard enough making a decision to be with Alex. Now that you are here, I don't want to change my decision."

James realized that it was not that Isabella didn't love him anymore; she just wanted to amend a mistake with Alex, and he finally understood her. He shook his head and said, "No worries, Isabella; I would do anything for your happiness. I'm not like Alex, who will get rid of you no matter what. As long as you are happy with Alex, I would be okay with it. Your happiness is what matters to me the most."

Tears started streaming down his cheeks, and he immediately wiped them away before they could drop, before Isabella could notice. "I wish you both a happy married life. I hope you are happy with Alex," he said to her as he started walking away.

As he exited the living room, they saw that Alex was already being handcuffed and taken away. "Where are you taking him? He did not do anything to me! Alex, I promise you, Alex did not kidnap me. I came with him willingly!" Isabella kept pleading with the police, but they did not listen as they continued dragging Alex away.

Alex looked back at Isabella. "Don't worry, I'll be fine, Isabella," he said as the police kept dragging him to the front door. Immediately they were about to open the front door, it swung open as another band of police officers walked in alongside Trisha and Rachel.

"You can't take Alex alone!" she said to the police officers. "Lily has to go with him also!"

All of them looked at each other, stunned. "What do you mean?" they asked as they walked in front of Trisha. "Are you crazy? Do I look like a criminal to you? Alex was the one who kidnapped Isabella, not me! I was the one who even informed James to come save Isabella! So don't act like you are stupid!" she shouted at Trisha.

Trisha just laughed out loud. "Don't think I will just make claims without having evidence," she said to Lily, who felt a swing of fear. Did she really mean what she said? Did she really have any evidence against her? That could never be possible. She had always been careful, and she was sure that Trisha did not have evidence.

She scoffed and said, "What the hell are you saying? What evidence do you have against me? I bet you don't have any evidence. You are just using that to scare me, and I wouldn't even fall for your trick."

Rachel walked in front of them and said, "We really have evidence, Lily. And I bet you wouldn't want to see the evidence because you might just die of shock."

Lily was now becoming scared as the police officer that was holding Alex stepped right in front of the two of them. "How dare you interrupt police business? You might get imprisoned too for interrupting the activities of an officer," he said to her.

"I'm sorry, officer, but actually, you have to take Lily along too! We have evidence against her! She and Alex planned this together," Rachel said to the police officer.

As the police officer looked at them, stunned, even Alex and Lily looked at them, equally shocked. Immediately Rachel brought out a phone and started playing the recording of Alex and Lily talking about their plan and how they would kidnap Isabella. Everything was played out right in front of them as Lily's truth unraveled. She was dumbfounded and couldn't say anything.

Immediately, a police officer rushed to her side and cuffed her. She didn't even realize what was going on as she was handcuffed. The moment she was brought back to reality, she shouted, "No, this can't be happening! I didn't do anything like that! I bet these people just framed me! I didn't do anything! Me and Alex aren't in cahoots together! We never planned anything!"

Immediately they showed a video of her sitting in her room, talking to Alex about how he was going to kidnap Isabella and giving him a time and location, even including dates for them to kidnap her. "Is this also fake?" The police asked Lily.

She saw the video and was shocked. Was there really a camera in her room? Did all this happen? How did these people get into her house to actually plant a camera there? She thought to herself.

And she was so far gone that she couldn't say anything. In her shock, she just fainted. Immediately the police officers carried her and took her into the van alongside Alex. Isabella just stood there, dumbfounded. She didn't know what to do, and she couldn't even utter a word.
