Chapter 82 Carefully Crafted Cage
Owen's face was covered in bruises, and Cassidy couldn't bear to look at him anymore. It felt like if she kept staring, Owen would open his eyes and blame her for not running fast enough.
If she had run faster, maybe Owen wouldn't have been beaten unconscious.
No, maybe she shouldn't have run away in the first place.
If she hadn't tried to escape, Owen wouldn't have gotten hurt.
It was all her fault; every injury on Owen's body was because of her.
Easton finally stopped, his anger making his eyes frighteningly red.
Cassidy stumbled towards Owen, wanting to check on him, but before she could get close, Easton grabbed her arm.
He didn't care about Cassidy's condition, forcefully dragging her to the car. The door slammed shut, and he signaled the driver to start driving. The partition immediately went up.
Cassidy was thrown onto the seat, her back aching so much she could barely speak.
Before she could react, Easton was on top of her.
The clothes she had borrowed from Easton had fallen off while she was running back, leaving her in a torn T-shirt.
Easton didn't say a word, tearing the already ripped shirt into shreds, even breaking Cassidy's underwear with brutal force.
Cassidy hadn't expected Easton to pull her into the car for this. She raised her hands to cover her chest, her eyes swollen from crying, filled with disbelief.
"Easton, we're in the car! There are people watching!"
Even though the partition was up, the driver could still hear them!
"And our relationship isn't suitable for..."
Easton didn't let her finish. As she resisted, he tore off the remaining fabric.
She tried to cover herself but couldn't.
Her exposed skin was marked with the bruises Easton had left in the restroom, glaringly obvious.
Easton sneered, "Don't worry, everyone here is my person."
"As for the rest," Easton grabbed Cassidy's chin, forcing her to look at him.
"We've slept together so many times, and you'll be my wife eventually. Isn't it too late to refuse me now?"
His mocking tone made Cassidy feel like she was just a disobedient toy to Easton.
What do you do with a disobedient toy? Naturally, you teach it a lesson.
He entered her forcefully again, and with the car moving, even if Easton didn't move, Cassidy's body would still rub against him with every bump.
Cassidy felt humiliated, struggling to push Easton away, but he grabbed her wrists.
"Cassidy, do you regret coming close to me?"
Cassidy bit her lip, not answering, but Easton saw the answer in her eyes.
Of course, she regretted it.
If Cassidy had known Easton was a venomous snake, she wouldn't have seduced him to survive in the Cooper family.
"Too late!" Easton said viciously, thrusting into her.
Watching Cassidy's neck arch beautifully with each thrust, Easton felt his irritation ease a bit.
He lifted her legs onto his shoulders, making the sounds of their union even clearer.
Cassidy could hear every thrust and withdrawal, every sound of his member entering her again.
"Cassidy, I won't let you escape from me again."
His words were like a devil's whisper, echoing in Cassidy's ears.
Cassidy didn't last until the car stopped. She passed out midway from the intense sex.
When she woke up, she was in an unfamiliar room.
Her wounds had been treated and bandaged, but she was completely naked. The thin blanket had slipped off her shoulders, revealing her bare body.
She didn't know where she was, so she instinctively observed the room.
The floor was covered in soft carpet, but the walls were adorned with various tools, like whips and handcuffs.
Cassidy felt a bad premonition just looking at the walls.
Despite the room's color scheme being to her liking, the setup made her feel uneasy.
The door suddenly opened, startling Cassidy. Seeing Easton, she calmed down a bit, but the tools in the room made her tense again.
"Cassidy, you're awake." Easton's voice was calm, seemingly no longer angry.
But Cassidy didn't dare relax; the environment itself filled her with fear.
He didn't approach the bed but walked around the room, satisfied with the setup, before smiling at Cassidy. "Cassidy, do you like this room?"
"I prepared it personally for you. You'll love it."
This room had been ready for a long time. From the first time Cassidy seduced him, Easton had wanted to lock her up, ensuring she wouldn't interact with anyone else.
But he knew she wouldn't agree. He knew if he locked Cassidy in this room, she might never smile at him again.
He couldn't bear to lose that beautiful smile, so he never mentioned the room's existence.
He thought the room would never be used, that he would never put Cassidy in it.
But now he felt he had to lock Cassidy in this room, this cage he had meticulously crafted for her.
Cassidy wanted to be a free bird, but he would break her wings, ensuring she could never leave him!
Easton's smile terrified Cassidy.
She felt like she had never truly known Easton. She knew he was cold, ruthless, and brutal, but he had been gentle with her.
Like a fierce wolf king being tender with his beloved.
But now Cassidy felt no gentleness from Easton. She was no longer the wolf king's beloved but a prey he wanted to hunt.
Cassidy didn't say a word, instinctively retreating, trying to put distance between them.
Easton's eyes changed as Cassidy backed away. He strode to the wall, taking down a pair of soft handcuffs.
Cassidy quickly got out of bed, despite being naked, and tried to open the door.
She just wanted to escape this room, escape Easton.
Easton seemed too abnormal; she didn't know what would happen if she stayed with him.
But as soon as Cassidy's feet touched the ground, Easton grabbed her waist.
