For Such The Angels Go

In the small village of Asmodeus, Jean Marcoto is running for her life. She has been accused by suspicious townsfolk of being a child witch. Her goal is to reach a refuge, but it's forty-two kilometers away. Jean is a natural-born runner, and she hopes that she can reach it soon and safely. With only the clothes on her back, she must flee, not only from wild animals in the wilderness but from wary and dangerous people. She will have to use her skill and her intelligence, not only to save herself but also to save other younger children who have been accused of conspiring with the devil. She can't leave them behind.
