Chapter 304: Lure Quinton Out

"That's perfect! We don't have to go through all the trouble of finding him. It's like he's voluntarily coming to us!"

Sally hadn't been resting for the past couple of days. She was in a poor mental state, and she basically said whatever came to her mind, without considering Vivian's situation.

She didn't know how dangerous Quinton was, nor did she consider that Quinton's visit to Vivian was not just for fun but for revenge.

However, Vivian seriously considered Sally's proposal.

Previously, William was afraid that she would face retaliation from Quinton, Dennis, or even people on the Black Bear's side. So, at great cost, William erased her information and presence from the internet in Valarna.

Ethan also suggested that Vivian shouldn't return to Valarna for the time being and should lay low.

But now, Vivian suddenly felt that Sally's suggestion made sense.

Quinton was calculating, cunning, and vengeful. If he decided to seek revenge, he definitely wouldn't change his mind halfway.

Besides, sooner or later he would come looking for her, so it was better to quickly resolve the matter and give him some clues to directly lure him out.

Dragging on like this was not a solution.

"You're right, Sally. It would be best if he could come forward on his own. But I need to make some preparations in advance. How about this? You wait for my message, and in the meantime, just rest at home and don't worry about anything else."

Sally just wanted to personally bring back Christopher's body. She couldn't wait and did nothing.

She anxiously asked, "What are you going to do? What's the plan? I don't need to rest. Just tell me your plan. I can also help!"

Vivian looked at Sally and said, "Let me discuss with Sheldon first. I'll tell you once we have a specific plan."

"That's fine! Sheldon will definitely be able to help! Let's go back quickly."

"Okay." Vivian nodded and also replied to Sheldon's message.

She told Sheldon that she was about to bring Sally back and Sheldon praised her for being capable.

Meanwhile, the impatient Sally stood up, ready to leave the restaurant immediately.

But as soon as she stood up, she realized something was off. "Oh no!"

Sally looked at Vivian and frowned.

Vivian had no idea what had happened. She stood up immediately and quickly looked around. "What happened?"

"I..." Sally lowered her voice. "It's that time of the month."

Vivian breathed a sigh of relief and instinctively glanced at Sally's trousers.

Unfortunately, Sally was wearing thin chiffon trousers today, and the red marks were quite noticeable.

But Vivian quickly came up with a solution. "I have a sunproof jacket in my car. I'll go get it for you. Wait here."

Sally nodded. "Hurry then."

"Okay!" Vivian walked out briskly and came back with the sunproof jacket in less than a minute.

Fortunately, her jacket was long enough to cover Sally's embarrassment.

...

Sally went out, and her driver prepared to open the car door for her.

However, the driver was a man, and Sally felt very embarrassed and did not want to ride in the same car as him.

So she instructed the driver, "You can go back. I'll just take a ride with my friend."

Vivian also glanced at the driver and nodded at him.

The driver didn't know Vivian, but his first impression of Vivian was that Vivian had a strong presence.

However, her strong presence also made the driver worry that Sally might be in danger, so he immediately called Sheldon to report the situation.

Vivian overheard the driver's phone call and waited for him to finish the conversation before starting the car.

The driver had already learned about Vivian's identity from Sheldon, so he quickly bowed to Vivian and said, "Ms. Swain, take care."

Vivian started the car and asked Sally, "Shall we go straight back or find a place to deal with it first?"

Sally felt uncomfortable and decisively chose the latter. "Let's find a place to deal with it first."

Vivian nodded. "Then let's go to my company. There aren't many people going to the office at this hour, and the shops haven't opened yet. Besides, I have spare clothes and toiletries in my office. There's a bathroom in the lounge as well, so you can take a shower."

"Great!" Sally couldn't wait to fly over and take a shower immediately. "I'll follow your lead."

"Alright, it'll take about ten minutes. We'll arrive soon."

...

It had been a long time since Vivian last visited the Swain Group.

Although it was only a little past eight, there were already quite a few employees who had arrived at the office.

Their gazes toward Vivian were filled with respect and a hint of curiosity.

At the sight of their reaction, an idea suddenly popped into Vivian's mind.

After greeting her employees, she quickly led Sally to her office.

While Sally cleaned herself in the bathroom, Vivian used the computer to search for some information. In the meantime, she made a couple of phone calls and even had a few minutes to video chat with Ethan.

After a while, her assistant, Emily, came to work and took the initiative to greet her. Emily also reported several important tasks.

Seeing that Vivian was so busy, Sally quietly sat on the sofa next to the bookshelf after changing clothes, without bothering her.

After Emily finished reporting the work, Vivian immediately walked towards Sally.

She looked at Sally, who looked refreshed after taking a shower and couldn't help but slightly raise her lips. "Sally, you look much better now, and the clothes fit well. Are you feeling better now?"

"Yes." Sally closed the book she had temporarily opened and said, "I'm feeling much better now."

Vivian nodded. "Then let's go now."

However, Vivian did not expect that Sally would suddenly change her mind.

She suddenly stood up and said to Vivian, "I don't want you to go."

"What?" Vivian frowned and said half-jokingly, "What's wrong? Why don't you want me to go? Is your home no longer welcoming me?"

"No, Vivian." Sally knew that Vivian might have misunderstood and quickly explained, "That's not what I meant. You are always welcome to my home. I just realized something."

"I haven't been feeling well these past two days, so I came to see you on a whim today. But when I was taking a shower just now, I suddenly became much clearer in my mind. I realized that I had been acting irrationally before."

"I was only thinking about Quinton coming to see you so that we could get Christopher's body from him. But it suddenly occurred to me that he's coming to see you, not just for a catch-up chat. He must have some harmful intentions towards you. It's too dangerous."

"So you should still lay low and keep a low profile."

Vivian was stunned for a moment, then said, "When my assistant came to find me just now, I sensed that you had something to tell me. So, you were holding back all this time just to tell me these things?"
