Chapter 4
Damien POV
1 had told my driver to park my car at the entrance of the house, contemplating whether I should go inside or not. It was already five minutes to 9 pm. The sight of the house reminded me of all the harsh words said to me–words I had tried so hard to escape.
He doesn’t belong here.”
“He is not family.”
These were the words that echoed in my mind, over and over again. I leaned back against the car seat, counting to ten before finally stepping out..
As I entered the house, the first person I saw was my s
y sister. She ran to hug me
“You came?” she asked with a smile, playfully hitting my chest.
“Yeah.” I muttered.
Would you be staying for dinner, won’t you?” she asked.
“Definitely not. Mom would create a scene if I did.” I said, heading to my father’s study before she could ask any more questions
“You’re late, my father said as I entered. He had a glass of brandy in one hand, while the other hand was in his pocket.
“Yeah, just by seven minutes,” I replied.
“Sit,” he said, pointing to a seat.
I leaned against the doorframe, folding my arms. “When will you stop calling me only when you need something! The only time I be
from you is when you want me to do your dirty work, and it’s honestly getting tiring”
He chuckled. “You always did have a sharp tongue, Damien. That’s why I chose you.”
“Can you please just say what you want and stop all this long talk?”
“I have a job for you.” he said.
I scoffed, pushing off the frame. “Of course you do. What is it this time? Another one of your messes you want me to clean up! I’m not your errand boy
“Stop being dramatic.” He poured the liquid into his glass.
“This is not about me; it’s about the family, Damien. About what needs to be done. Maybe one day you’ll understand why I do what I do.”
“Don’t give me that ‘family‘ speech, because I am clearly not one to any of you. The last time we spoke in this house, you made it clear I was nothing more than a tool to you.”
His smile widened. “And yet, here you are, can’t seem to run away whenever I call.
“Yeah, because you always blackmail me. I’m only here to tell you that I won’t be doing your little bidding anymore. If you need simeone to do it, go meet your daughter,” I said.
His smile disappeared at the mention of his daughter.
“You haven’t even heard what it is yet, and you sure don’t want to get on my nerves, do you? If you know what’s good for you, you’ll sit and listen to me,” he said as he walked to his seat.
I stared at him and it took everything in me not to punch him.
You have five minutes.” I said as I took a seat.
“Here, he said, tossing the file in my direction.
“This contains the information you need to know,” he added.

I picked up the file and sighed. This was really getting tiring.
“So if I help you out with this, we call it even?” I asked.
“Sure, just give me the information I need, and maybe I might forget about what you did,” he said
As I turned to leave, I saw the family portrait. It had everybody in it except me, like always.
“You will regret this,” I said, turning to him.
The first shot of whiskey barely had any impact on me, so I ordered another, then another. The sting of alcohol dulled my thoughts, but it wasn’t enough to drown them our
“Rough night?”
I glanced up to see a woman standing by the side of my table.
“Something like that, and I would appreciate it if you would leave me alone.” I didn’t bother hiding my irritation.
Bun instead, she ignored me as she slid into the booth across from me
“Looks like you could use some company, and I know how to make you forget about everything,” she said, as her hand brushed against my thigh, and I stiffened.
1 raised an eyebrow. “And how exactly would you do that?”
She leaned forward, her hand caressing my thigh. I have my ways”
She leaned closer. “Do you want to do it here, or should we go somewhere private?” she whispered.
For a moment, I hesitated, but the alcohol barely provided a good distraction to forget about my father. Let’s go.”
We left the bar, and by the time we made it to my apartment, we had barely made it past the door before her hands were on me, removing my buttons. I didn’t resist..
I pressed her against the wall, my lips feeling the tenderness of hers. Her nails dug into my shoulders as she pulled me closer. She murmured into my ear, but I barely heard her. In that moment, all I wanted was her body.
We kissed sloppily until we reached my bedroom, and 1 gently pushed her onto the bed. As I removed her clothes and stroked her thighs, she moaned for more. Then, I went deep inside of her with my fingers.
“Yes, yes, yes faster, she screamed
“Please
e please please” she begged as tears were streaming down her eyes.
1 stared at her enjoying her display
Please what,” I asked
“What do you want.” I asked as I moved my fingers faster.
“Your cock please” she whispered
Your wish
my command,” I said as 1 aligned my cock with her pussy.
Not waiting for her to adjust, I started pounding into her at a fast pace.
“F–U–C–KKK” she kept screaming, but I didn’t stop. However, the sound of the doorbell interrupted us.
At first, I ignored it, hoping whoever it was would go away. Hut the ringing didn’t stop, followed by knocking on the door.
“Who the hell is that?” she asked as she pulled me away.
“Let me check,” I said, dripping with sweat as I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my waist.
I opened the door, ready to give whoever it was a piece of my mind.

But who I saw standing on my doorstep made me hesitate.
“Cassandra,” I said.
