Chapter 25

Rowan feels concerned about Leticia

"Oh you are here, I am just from the grocery store and I want to make something to eat. you can join me if you want. No, you can't, yes you can. In fact just forget about what I said, enjoy the rest of your day."

Brenda having the worst feeling ever, she spoke like some mad lady and without having a clear picture of what her mind was giving her as words, she just rambled everything and looked even more stupid in his eyes which he couldn't help but to laugh inside of him.

"You can keep your calm Brenda I am not a beast and I am not going to eat you up." Leo let out with so mcg easy which made the young lady to feel more stupid over what had just taken place.

The dinner was over and the ambiance was not as good as it had to be. Leticia quickly said that she wanted to leave and Mrs. Shepherd who had spent her time playing the favorite girl with Aliyah, who loved what was going on, only got to make Leticia feel more awkward.

Without any hesitation, she said good bye even though she would have loved to spent some more time with little Tessa for she had grown so fun of that little princess.

Taking her into her arms, she kissed her and that act made Mrs. Shepherd and Aliyah to grow even more angry with her. She left and Rowand without any hesitation, hollowed her to his car to make her feel comfortable and to make sure that she gets everything right.

He couldn't hold back his feelings and he felt that he owed her some explanations which was what he was planning to give to her.

It was a matter of minutes before Leticia called it a day. She was exhausted, and as she walked out of the rear door, she walked to the car where Rowan stood in front of it waiting for her to come.

"How lucky to know that you are done," Rowan said as he opened the car door.

It was Saturday and the day was a great one. Leticia did not utter a word to Rowan unless she wanted them to start a fight.

It wasn't a good option, thus, she kept her calm and sulked her breath so preciously.

When he was seated behind the steering, he made sure the lady had her seat belt on before he started the car. Instead of the regular road to the lady's house, Rowan was driving up town.

"Hey, you missed the road," the young lady called out looking at him.

Her reaction made him laugh because he expected that from her.

"Of course, I have not, I am taking you out," the young man said.

Leticia's jaws dropped and she did very little to stop herself from acting like a fool, rather she loved the way Rowan stole random glances at her.

"But we just had lunch." She said but the young man smiled at her and said that he still feels hungry. Taken by surprise she couldn't help but have her mouth open and the next thing she gave attention was, made her even more shocked.

"Hey, beautiful, close your mouth, you risk swallowing a fly, and I do not want that to be your fate," the young man said faintly.

His words made Leticia blush, she wasn't expecting to hear that, but darn, what more can she do when Rowan was teasing her? She closed her mouth and swallowed hard, it was the least she can do and despite the fact it happened that way, it shouldn't have been any less exciting.

"So, where are we heading to?" Leticia inquired.

The question made him smile, it was a simple smile but it seemed to carry on a lot of emotions buried in it, even though it build so much heat on his face, he managed to come up with a reply to Leticia's question.

"What is the time, Leticia? do we still have too much sunlight before it gets dark?" the question came out like a blow and hit the young lady down. How funny could he be? The day had barely gone half and there he was asking her that.

She removed her cell phone and turned it on. Looking at the time, she nodded her head.

"It is one p.m. so, I guess we have about four hours of daylight before it gets dark," she responded.

Rowan nodded his head. Tomorrow is Sunday and he has to take her to his favorite place. It will be loving introducing her to his family, it can not be any special other than watching them admire her like she was a piece of confetti.

"Alright, I love that," he managed to say.

Leticia was a dumb stroke, although she said nothing, she managed to nod his head with so much anxiety, it was building up the best in her and that made it even better since nothing could compare such good works and more.

"I hate having to say this, Rowan, but can you tell me where we are going?" Leticia questioned searching the man's face.

All Rowan did was laugh, there is no doubt that he was catching fun with Leticia, he loved teasing her, and that is one thing that throbs her mind so badly. She doesn't want to be a case of amusement, she wouldn't find it funny, not even the least.

"Ehmm! it is a surprise," she muttered out.

"I hate surprises," Leticia let out shrieking in her car seat. She could feel her heart beating loudly knowing the skeletons that she has in her closet. she couldn't help but feel so terrible as she had no clue of what could happen in the next minutes and she had to find something fo stop him from going ahead.

From her position in the car, it was hard the see Alex's full face, rather, what she saw was his side profile and he was so damn sexy, nothing beats it more than when he rubs his hands around the tip of his nose, or more, wrinkled them.

He looked super sexy__ more like attractive, and it shouldn't be any demeaning than the way it felt.

"I hate having to say this as well, but do you think you can hold your anxiety for a while, maybe you will get to be shocked once you see it. I love seeing you being mesmerized," the young man shot out as he kept his eyes on the road, and now, he took a right turn on the road.

It got the lady to calm, but she giggled at how the man was treating her, it couldn't be any sweet, and even though she made it seem so obvious, she couldn't help but hope that all of these things get to pass on so easily, and she knows it so well.

"Alright, that is done now, you know?" Leticia said rolling her eyes.

Rowan found her pleas so bothering and her little weening made her so irresistible. He wouldn't keep secrets from her, even when they are surprises.

"I hope you love water," he said stealing a sharp glance at the lady.

A second he had his eyes on hers and the next second it was away, nothing could even best that generous anxiety of his, especially as it could not get any better.

"I beg your pardon?" Leticia asked her voice shaky.

Rowan knew he had to break it down for her, besides, once he does so, it wouldn't be a secret anymore.

"I mean, do you love the beach?" Rowan questioned.

This was just a thought that consumed him while he was at work, and throughout the day at work, he would not focus because he thinks that he wants to reach out to Leticia, that is where his heart is, and it will not be any better until he succeeds in it.

"You do not mean it right? I mean, you must be joking huh?" she said her eyes blinking as they settle on Rowan's own.

Leaving work, she only had one plan, and that is to return to her house and rest because she deserves it. Well, now, those dreams of hers are being truncated, and items that Alex has his plans of his.

"No, I am not," he said swiftly.

Leticia was calm. She was digesting all of this information, when out together, it will give her a big bomb which will be a blast. She doesn't want to experience such deals, it might be tricky, or bad, but even though she wants these things, it can not get any better and she knows that.

"Do you plan on taking me to the beach now? I do not have a bikini with me," she said throwing her head.

Rowan smiled, it was one of those rich smiles that bespoke a lot, more like telling the orders what is needed and more.

"I knew such things were going to come up if I asked you to come with me, but do not worry, I have sorted it all out already," he said.

It was confusing, Leticia did not understand what he meant by he has sorted it out, and she wished he could explain more.

"What does that imply?" she demanded her eyes bracing through his face.

It was unfortunate that she could not see his face, but it did not matter, she was still getting what she wanted, and whether or not he did the same, those questions were still going to be pulled out.

"Alright, take that bag to the passenger's seat and check it out," he spoke out.

Leticia froze as her mind fought to think about what the young man was trying to imply by saying such a thing.

First, she pushed her hands and grab the shopping bag, with so much eagerness in her, she went ahead searching through it.

She found a blue bikini with white stripes.

"Holy cow! you did not buy this, Rowan," she managed to say.

He laughed out loud. Indeed, unless he was turning out into that cow, he found himself mad over heels with this lady, and that obsession is making him do the craziest things in life.

"Okay, that is it, I went to a shopping mall and got bikinis for my lover, is it a bad thing to do?" the young man inquired his face flushing.

He had just called Leticia his lover, Leticia had heard her too, it was so imposing, no matter what is going through, she crashed her eyes lock and managed to keep going, even though it was still placing a great impact on her life, nothing could beat that stress out of his life, and more.

"Alright, tell me something I would be super interested to know about, please," Leticia still forced herself to ask even when she had heard those words enough.

"What do you want to hear, that I love you and you are my lover?" the questions slipped out of his mouth with so much truth, it caused a sharp pain to cut through the lady's mind.

She closed her eyes and patiently waited for the wave to go away, she was reluctant because all that was pounding in her head right now are the words of truth that Rowan had said.
